Spoiled little Rich Boy

Risa blushed when he kissed her and hugged him as she kissed him lightly on his lips again. "Okay, I believe you." she said with a bright and gentle smile. She wanted to believe that nothing would ever come between their relationship. She wanted to be the only girl that Syrrus really loved. "I love you..." she whispered to him, blushing and hugged him once more.

There they were again, those words that he didn't quite know how to handle. He simply smiled at her and decided to stroke her over the hair. Nodding. "I know sweetheart." He knew not how to respond further and instead proceeded in kissing her, for what seemed to be forever, until he could hear the church bell ring which caught him a bit of guard.

Risa waited for him to say he loves her too but she didn't hear him say it. It disappointed her a bit but thought that maybe he was just shy in telling her about it. She kissed him again when she hears the church bell ring as she looked at the time. "Oh, I think I need to go now. I'll see you tomorrow morning then?" she said, fixing her hair and then picks up her bag from the floor.

"I'll come with you."

He removed himself from the bed and put his shoes back on as she walked towards the door. He would hardly let her walk home alone this late at night. Besides, being a lone in this place made him feel rather odd. He opened the door for her, smiling and followed her outside. It was a cold night, that night and he even spotted some snow, falling from the top of the sky. Beautiful flakes, he sighed heavily and continued walking, hands in his pocket until he reach where Risa lived, he stopped on the street and smiled at her. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Risa noticed the snow falling as she looked up and smiled. "The snow looks beautiful..." she mumbled while watching the snow fall gently from the sky. She turned to Syrrus and nodded "Yeah, good night Syrrus." she said and kissed him on his cheek and walks back into her house and closes the door behind her.

"Goodnight." He said, nodding and then turning around to get back to his dorm. He didn't feel too excited about going back, in fact his thoughts went elsewhere and so did his feet. He started walking snow covering his shoulders and he kept his hands deep in his pockets for warmth. He needed some better cloths, something warmer.

"I guess winter is coming... maybe I should buy him something warm to wear..." she told herself when she was on her way back to her room. She closed the door of her room and thought of something. "Maybe I should make a scarf for him to wear, I don't think I'm that bad when it comes to making things." she said with a smile as she decided to knit him a scarf.

And then there he was, without quite realizing that he had been going towards that general direction but when he looked up he saw her, with her flowing long hair, her winter coat with the fluffy fake fur cuffs and that light blue scarf that went to well with her grey eyes and blond hair. She was smiling at him and before he knew it she had thrown her arms around him. Leyla was hugging him tight, crying against his chest. "It's been so long..." She mumbled against him. He nodded slowly, it had been, hadn't it?

Risa changed her clothes then puts on her pajamas. She wasn't really picky with her clothes and just chose what was comfortable for her. She smiled and was excited to buy him a violin and even a scarf. "About that violin.... maybe I should buy it tomorrow already, I just can't wait anymore!" she said with a smile and made a note in her phone to remind her of buying a gift tomorrow for Syrrus.

"I got something for you." Leyla said and pulled on his hand, he didn't do much to stop her, didn't feel much like it. In fact he felt rather trapped in a way and it was annoying him slightly. She took him indoors and up the elevator, unlocked the hotel door and pushed him forward. On the bed lay a purple violin case, which caused him to frown. "What is this" "It's a violin you dummy! It's made by a German violin maker, the best in the world. I thought maybe you wanted it."

Syrrus frown and stepped forward opening the case. Inside lay the most beautiful of instruments he had ever seen, detailed with golden paint. "It must have cost you a fortune." Leyla nodded quickly. "Why yes but no violin is cheap, I wanted to give you something nice! Here, let's show Risa? I'm pretty sure I still got her number" Leyla took a photo of the violin and sent it off to Risa's number before Syrrus could even understand what was happening.

Risa got a message from Leyla and when she opened her phone, she was shocked to see the picture she got from her. "A... A violin..?" she said and wondered if this was Syrrus' new violin. She felt like a sharp knife just ran through her chest. 'So she already bought him one huh... it looks really expensive too.... it even looks like it was made from another country...' she thought and looked back at her phone. She closed her phone and couldn't bare to look at it anymore. "N-no! Don't get depressed Risa! Y-you still have a chance! I'm gonna make a scarf for him!" she told herself to cheer herself up. "Of course! Haha.... haha...ha..." she said with a sad smile and just decided to sleep it off.

They spent the night together, talking and discussing live in all its colours. It had been rather pleasant. Leyla had admitted that she had left Syrrus rather rudely but he understood why. Syrrus didn't have anything worth having, sure he was charming enough but he had no money, no home and he played around with women more than one could count. He could see why she had decided to marry that Eddie or.... whatever it was he was called. Speaking of the devil, just as Syrrus was about to leave Edward showed up in the doorway, yawning loudly. "Oh, hello. I don't know you where here." He peered at the violin case that Syrrus was holding and quickly jumped out of the way, as if he was expecting to get hit. "Good evening sir." Syrrus said, nodding. He smiled towards Leyla and left the hotel room with a sigh.

Next day...

Risa's eyes were red from crying last night and she tried to cool it off with water. After that, she went to the bookstore to buy a book about knitting. After buying a book, she went to buy the materials needed for knitting. She smiled and closed her bag. "I'm sure he will love this!" she said, trying to be positive about things.

From a nearby store, not far away from Risa, Edward stepped out. He looked tired and was yawning something awful, still dressed in the usual posh fashion. Perhaps he had been working all night? He was holding a hot take-away coffee in his hand, drinking it slowly to try and get some warmth.

Risa noticed Edward nearby as she walked towards him and greeted him. "Good morning! Cold weather huh?" she said with a smile and noticed him being a bit tired. She tilted her head "Still sleepy Mr. Edward?" she asked the man as she looked at his coffee. Risa couldn't help but look at his way of dressing, it seems so mature and she liked it and smiled.

"Hmh? Oh, Morning ma'am." Edwards said nodding towards her with a slight smile on his lips. "And don't worry about calling me mister. Most people tend to use Eddie." He chuckled and took another sip of his coffee before continuing. "What are you doing out in the cold?" Edward was a couple of years older than Syrrus, it was hard to see exactly how old but one could guess about twenty five, give or take.

Risa giggled "Sure, and actually, I have a friend of mine who has the same name as you but we call him Ed." she said and smiled. "I just bought some things that I needed, I'm gonna start knitting! Isn't it like the right time do knit since it's winter season?" she looked at the man and showed him the book she bought. Today isn't a school day so she was free to do anything she liked today. Her plan to give a violin to Syrrus was completely ruined already so she decided to knit him a scarf.

He peered at the book and smirked slightly. "Aren't you a little young to start knitting?" He meant no offence of course and quickly added. "I suppose I can see the appeal." He didn't wish to insult her in anyway, he just had difficulty seeing any interest in knitting, he was far too busy to be able to just sit down for a few hours. Playing a piano was stressful enough. "Edward is a common name, I suppose. Is he English as well?" Chuckling the man shook his head and took another sip of coffee.

Risa blushed and puffed her cheeks "O-of course not! I mean... I think it would be fun to knit something very important right?" she said, looking at the book then at Edward. "Oh! Yeah, he is actually, but he is the complete opposite of you, you're more of a mature gentleman while our Ed is kind of like a host in some club." she said and giggled.

"Oh... one of those." Edward didn't look pleased and sighed heavily as he continued to drink his coffee. He didn't much care for the flirty type, they were false and reminded him too much of the French. Even if his wife happened to be French... It was a hate love relationship, he assumed. Chuckling to himself. The man then looked around, time was getting on. "Would you like to eat something? I feel peckish and wouldn't mind some company."

Risa flinched when he invited her out to lunch and nodded. "Sure, why not?" she said and thanked him for inviting her out. "Don't worry, he maybe flirty but he is a good guy, a pretty nice one too." she added, not wanting him to have a bad impression of Ed. She started following him to wherever they were gonna eat at.

He walked until he reached a cafe, it looked alright and it was far too early to eat something heavy anyway. Edward opened the door like a gentleman would, holding it open for her and closing it gently behind them. He threw the take-away coffee in a bin and walked up to the counter. "What would you like?" He asked, looking down at Risa.

Risa looks at the menu and pointed at one of the food. "I'll have this sandwich and this milk tea, please." she said as she didn't want to eat much today and wanted. "I'll pay for my share Eddie, it's fine with me." she insisted, putting her hand on his arm gently and smiled. "Oh... b-but wait! W-were you going to pay for my share as well? I wasn't assuming that but then... oh my... what am I even talking about, I'm sorry, haha." she said, a bit nervous around him and was acting like a cute nervous little girl. Her cheeks blushed as she puts her hand on it.

"Of course I am going to pay." Edwards said, peering down at her as he ordered what she wanted and another coffee for himself. He was going to have soup, he liked soup. He paid, quickly before Risa could made another fuss, she was too sweet. He smirked slightly and sat down at one of the tables, waiting for his food. "Don't worry about it. I asked you to come with me, it's not more than right."

"Are you sure you are fine with that? I can totally pay for my share, really." Risa said and followed him to their table and sat on the other side of the table. She looked down and then looks back at Edward "But, if you are willing, then, I thank you." she gave him a warm smile, kind of like an angel and then looks around the cafe.
