Jen smiled and blushed pink " Thanks... " she went back to watching the movie and let Snow lick at the lollipop for a bit

Light sat down on the floor, criss cross. Max laid next to him, grooming himself. "So...is this a...movie?" He asked in curiosity. He wouldn't know since he's pretty much been a potato his whole life. Doing stuff for training.

"Uh der! Course it is. Its not a tree. I've never seen one, but I'm pretty sure this is one." Mia said.

Jen nodded " Yup, Phantom of the Opera...not my most favorite but I like the music " she said and took her turn with the lollipop

He nodded. "Oh, cool. I've never seen one until now." Max snatched the lollipop right out of Lights mouth, swallowing it. "Geez Max, why are you so annoying?" He smiled, scruffing up his fluffy fur.

Mercy climbed back onto Mia's shoulder. "You know, I dont think its healthy to swallow the stick, Max."

 

[Bye.]

Max coughed up the stick, causing it to land on Lights face along with slobber. "Oh thank you! That's just what I wanted!" Light shouted sarcastically, mumbling a few curse words under his breath as he wiped away the grossness on his face.

" Snooooow...I'm starting to loose feelingnin my legs, could you get off " Jen said and Snow rolled off her and onto her ground in front of the couch, Jen sat up and stretched then switched to laying on her other side, still watching the movie

Mia's face turned red with contained laughter. Mercy made a weird sound that sounded like laughing as she rolled of Mia's shoulder and landed with a thud.

Jen glanced to Light and snorted as she tried not to laugh but broke the silence and busted out laughing anyways

 

[Bye.]

Light looked over at the two trying not to laugh and squinted his eyes. "Yeah, reeeeal funny." He said, also trying not to crack a smirk.

" Actually its hilarious... " Jen snorted again and covered herouth as she laughed, Snow purred amused and kneaded the ground under her paws

"Well, at least he knows what to eat." Mia said, her voice cracking with small bursts of laughter.

Light shook his head, smiling. He never thought he'd end up in some random girls home. Well, not too random since he met her a couple hours ago. Are these what they call "friends..?" He asked himself. He's never hung out with people around his age. Or anyone younger than him. So far he was enjoying it. Suddenly his phone rang and he hesitated to answer.

Snow perked her ear when Lights phone rang and Jen lifted her head and blinked no longer laughing " Who's calling you? " she asked

 

[Bye.]

He looked at up at her and smiled nervously. "Boss..." He said, kind of quietly. He held the phone up to his ear. "Yes sir!" Is how he answered. After about a single minute, they hung up.

Mia was distracted with petting Mercy after the fall from her shoulder.

Jen sighed and sat uo leaning forwards resting her elbows on her knees " So you have to go to...work " she said more as a statement than a question

He looked up at her and sighed. "Not yet. In about an hour. He was wondering where I was. He said the tracker in me lost reception. I lied and told him that I was underground so that I could be more hidden. I'm not allowed to stay with other people." Light stated, shoving the phone back in his pocket. "I do have to leave soon though, I'm supposed to have the guy on 3rd street gone before the next hour ends."

Mia was petting Mercy and listening. Being an orphan, she didn't understand the concept of a job.

Jen chuckled and sighed " Yaaa that sounds like the rules just their to ruin you social life....hey...Um " she hesitated " Who do you work for? "

He looked around as if he'd get caught or something. "General Zaroff. I doubt you'd know him. He's from Russia and moved to Alaska to work in the deep parts of the forest. What about you?" He asked curiously.

Mercy got out of Mia's lap and licked at the lollipop wrapper Jen had thrown to the floor, hoping there was some lollipop inside.

Jen glanced to Mercy and held the lollipop down to the foxs level then looked back to Light " I don't actually work for any one person in particular... I'm still looking that's why I asked "
