Ben looked at Pedro as he came back in shaking his head some "No change man, nurse said we gotta leave soon so they can change her bandages."

He frowned and just shook his head “No. I’m not leaving her again. I won’t.” He muttered holding her hand while he sat down.

carmen frowned shaking her head. “Well I get it. Can they stop now?” She mumbled rubbing her face and leaned forward to be sick again.

Ben sighed some not going to say anything on it "What did Angelo need?" He asked raising an eyebrow as Lilith's hand twitched some

Clayton chuckled some kissing her temple "Soon my love, we'll meet them soon." He murmured rubbing her back again as she started throwing up

She got up once she eventually finished and looked at him tiredly. “I should go back to bed.” She mumbled, squeezing his hand for a moment.

Pedro frowned. “She went running to daddy. Told him I’ve been seeing another woman. Told him that I have brokrn her heart and he wants to kill me.... or I divorce her and the business changes.” He muttered shaking his head.

Clayton nodded softly and helped her move to the room and lay down

Ben nodded some "Simple choice then! Take Lilith and get married leave here and have that white picket fence life. Have kids man, be happy." He said thinking this would be good for his best friend

Pedro glared at him. “I don’t know how to live that fucking life! I don’t want that life! I like mine how it is... without Michelle and her family anyway.” He muttered.

Carmen frowned some continuing to not feel good the rest of the day into the evening, seeing him eventually come to bed. “I’m sorry I’ve been so boring on your day off.” She mumbled.

Ben sighed heavily and shook his head some "Then you better figure out something." He muttered before he left to go get himself something to eat for the day

Pedro frowned sitting with Lilith still and held her hand in his gently, kissing her knuckles. “I need you to wake up beautiful... we got hard times ahead but if I got you by my side I know we can get through it.” He murmured to her. “Just come back to me please Lilith. I can’t lose you again. Not like this.” He begged quietly.

carmen frowned but nodded and held onto him tighter. “I love you.” She mumbled.

Lilith twitched some and groaned softly as she started to move around before opening her eyes looking at Pedro "Pe...Pedro?" She asked quietly "Where am I?"

Clayton held her close smiling softly "I love you too." He whispered

He smiled seeing her open her eyes and kissed her head repeatedly. “Oh mi amor.” He murmured to her, “I was so scared that I’d lost you for good.” He mumbled, “You were shot... I got you here as fast as I could... I’ve been so worried.”

Lilith frowned some and squeezed his hand some "Pedro...are you okay? I remember....I remember you falling." She said softly letting a few tears fall "Who...who shot me?"

He frowned and held her hand a little tighter. “I’m okay sweetheart... I... I never thought they’d come after us when I had you with me. I wasn’t thinking but... I still had my vest on.” He explained quietly, lifting his shirt, his chest was black and blue from the force of the billets but nothing had broken the skin. “I... Clayton.” He told her quietly. “Your sister knows.”

Lilith nodded and traced her hand on his chest gently letting a few tears fall "Did she....did she come here?" She asked quietly wanting to know if her sister had come to see her.

He nodded. “Wouldn’t let me in to see you until she had.... how you feeling?” He asked quietly, lifting her hand to his face and kissing her palm over and over.

Lilith smiled happily and sighed some watching him "My back aches...Pedro take me home, I want to be with you."

He frowned shaking his head. “Things are... you’re gonna have to trust me okay?” He murmured quietly to her, kissing her hand again. “I’m doing everything I can to get you home to me as soon as possible... but things are very touch and go.” He explained.

Lilith frowned some and whimpered quietly "Okay...when...when will I see you again? When I leave." She whispered stroking his cheek gently

He frowned shaking his head. “I’m gonna be here as much as I can gorgeous but it’s gonna be a while before I can get you home okay?” He murmured trying to get her to relax again.

Lilith frowned more and let a few tears fall as she watched him "No no....no please don't leave me...Pedro I don't want to be alone." She whispered trying to pull him close to her

He shook his head and moved to lay with her carefully. “Shh, I’m here right now.” He murmured softly to her, pressing his nose to her temple and keeping her to him. “You aren’t gonna be alone I promise. There will be me or Ben or your sister. I think she’s trying to keep your parents out of this for you but if you want them here I will bring them here. You’re not gonna be alone.” He promised her.

Lilith nodded softly and tried to cuddle him the best she could "Don't push me away okay? Don't push me away thinking it'll make this better." She whispered to him before she turned to kiss him gently

He frowned shaking his head. “Lilith sweetheart stop stressing, I need you to relax so you can get yourself better.” He murmured to her softly.

Lilith gave a small nod and kissed his hand gently as she stared at him "I love you José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal.." she whispered before her eyes started to get heavy from exhaustion

“I love you too. More than you know.” He whispered, stroking her cheek before laying still with her so she could rest, watching her and just taking in every detail of her face.

carmen woke up frowning some feeling worse than evenyesterday and sat up in bed, holding her bump and taking deep breaths to try and relax.

Lilith woke up in the morning frowning when she didn't see Pedro there. Shensat up some and noticed Ben standing outside the door giving a small sigh knowing he had probably left for work.

Clayton woke up and frowned seeing how pail Carmen looked "Carmen you feeling okay?" He asked softly frowing more as he felt her forehead ajd felt how clamy she was.
