Lilith gave a small nod taking a deep breath "She told me to ask my sister as to why they won't give you even the slightest chance...do you know why she would say that?" she asked quietly staring deep into his dark brown eyes

The nurse sighed some giving a shake of the head "I'm sorry m'am you need to stay atleast one more day." she said quietly

Pedro inhaled sharply and frowned but nodded. “I do.... it was .. three maybe four years ago? We knew her and clay were getting married... there was a turf war starting to break out. We didn’t realise it would be the calm before the storm... but during this, Clay overstepped his boundaries and took two of my men to his side.... in response we took your sister.... you probably didn’t even know that’s where she’d gone.... I don’t know if clay even knows what some of my men did to her but she was passed around pillar to post between all my men and each got to take their pick of what they wanted.... once done she was dumped out on the street half dressed.... I was the one that gave the go ahead for it all to happen.” He explained slowly.

she just nodded and frowned some curling up again and stared out the window to wait for Clayton to come see her.

Lilith looked at him in shock taking a deep breath letting a few tears fall "Why...how...how could you....why would...Pedro...how would you feel if that was me?" she whimpered moving away slowly as he tried to come near her "She wasn't the same after that..." she said crying more as she watched him carefully. She knew there were some things that happened in the mob that would be hard to handle but this was crossing a line for her.

Clayton got there as early as he could to see her. He came in and sat at the edge of the bed taking her hand in his "Hey beautiful, how are you feeling?" he asked quietly

He frowned some and stopped moving closer soon as he saw her move away. The last thing he needed was her to try and get up so he stayed in his place. “I would tear through this city to find every son of a bitch that touched you and kill them with my bare hands.” He told her seriously. “I know it was a nasty disgusting thing to do... at the time it seemed like the right thing though.” He explained quietly.

carmen smiled over at him and kissed his cheek. “Morning handsome” she murmured softly. “You’re dressed for work.” She frowned noticing he wasn’t in his street clothes. “who’s staying with me?” She asked softly.

Lilith whimpered and cried more she watched him some "Would you do it again? If it meant you winning no matter who it was would you do it again?" she asked taking a deep breath still keeping her distance from him

Clayton sighed softly and kissed her cheek gently "Ricky has got you today, I don't trust anyone else enough yet." he murmured stroking her cheek some "I'll be here later though okay? You won't be alone all day." he said softly

He frowned biting down hard on his lip. “Not to your sister. But I don’t know what’s going to happen and where this life is taking us next... so I can’t make that promise love. I’m sorry.” He told her quietly.

carmen just nodded and placed her hand over his, “okay, be careful for me handsome.” She murmured smiling tiredly at him. “When we get home, we’re gonna keep trying.@ she murmured.

Lilith whimpered softly giving a small nod "Oh...okay." she whispered moving over and hugging him tight to her burying her face in his neck letting a few tears fall still scared about it all. However she knew deep down that this is what came with that life and she would have to get used to it.

Clayton nodded holding her close to him "I will babe I promise." he murmured kissing her gently before he had to leave

He held her to him protectively and kissed her head. “I love you.” He murmured to her. “So much.”

carmen smiled watching him go before laying back and trying to get some rest in.

Lilith nodded softly holding him close to her "I love you too Pedro, so much." she whispered pulling back and staring deeply into his eyes "Will you let me stay here?" she asked quietly

Ricky came in shortly afterwards and lit up a cigarette sitting away from her not wanting to bother her if she didn't want to speak to him.

He nodded and smiled some. “I love you.” He murmured. “Of course you can stay here. I’ve moved my things in, Michelle is still using the other house u til she gets her crap moved out.” He mumbled holding her close to him.

carmen sighed heavily reaching to get a cigarette off him and lit one up as well, using the ash tray by her bed. “Is he staying more sane this time around?” She asked him curiously wanting to get her mind off the current situation

Lilith gave a small nod frowning a bit "What do you mean? Are you...are you leaving her?" she asked in complete shock that it was actually happening

Ricky gave a nod sighing heavily "Yeah, beatin himself up over the Pedro mishap. He's okay though, much stronger head on his shoulders. He's really changed since the incident Carmen." he said taking another drag from his cigarette.

He chuckled a little. “Sort of.... I’m being divorced and losing half my territory.... it’s gonna be back to the drawing board.” He murmured and kissed her cheek.

Carnen sighed quietly shaking her head and finishing her cigarette.

Lilith frowned softly running her fingers through his hair "We'll figure it out. You'll get it back, and you'll be stronger than ever." She said quietly to him

Ricky put out his cigarette and watched her some "I know its a stupid question but....how are you?" He asked

He smiled at her tiredly. “Mmm I love you.” He murmured softly, kissing her and holding her close. “Get some rest darling, I’ll just be downstairs alright?” He coaxed gently.

she sighed quietly shaking her head. “I’m thirty Ricky. Thirty without any kids at all and it’s looking like my clock is running out... we gotta get to it quickly.” She muttered.

Lilith nodded and kissed him gently before she moved to lay down curling up in bed and soon falling asleep

Ricky gave a nod and sighed some "What about adoption? Lots of little kids need parents." He said knowing it was a bit of a taboo subject but it was still an option.

“Yes they do but for Clayton that’s not a realistic option. It never has been.” She sighed quietly and lay back.

he sighed a little and shook his head. “You should have called me to come be there.” He spat at Ben.

Ricky frowned some giving a small nod "I'll talk with him, see what I can figure out on it." He said softly giving her a small smile

Ben sighed heavily and nodded "I know I know but she was already up and she seemed scared." He explained before sitting down and lighting up a cigarette "So what did Angelo say?"

Pedro sighed heavily shaking his head. “I can leave her. However... we’re losing half.... it’s gonna just have to be time to go into a deal with Cardenas.” He muttered getting a glass and some whiskey from the cupboard.

carmen nodded slowly. “I’m gonna get some sleep Ricky.” She told him before laying down.

Ben cringed at the thought shaking his head some "You sure thats a good idea? With all the bad blood we share with him?" He asked raising an eyebrow taking another drag of his cigarette

Ricky gave a small nod and still sat there quietly while she slept until Clayton made his way in

He chuckled some. “No I’m not sure it’s a good idea but you got any others? Also Angelo is sending her brother in to take over those areas... not Eddie... he’s sending Jon in.” He muttered.

Ricky glanced up at him and sighed some. “Hey, she’s been asleep for a couple hours, she’s holding up as okay as she probably can right now.” He muttered. “You good if I head home to the girls?” He asked him.

Ben tensed at the mention of Jon and frowned deeply "Why the fuck is that son of bitch coming here?! Piece of shit has nothing here for him." He spat angrily. He LOATHED Jon and for good reason too.

Clayton came in and nodded some to Ricky "Yeah go on home, I'll call you later so we can discuss things." He explained

Carmen came to a little feeling clays fingers over her face and smiled tiredly at him. “Hey, how long you been here?” She asked quietly, sitting up some and pulling him to sit with her.

Pedro smirked some. “Because he does now. Half a fuckincity just handed to him.” He spat fuming about it as well but he would give it up all over again every time if it meant having max in his life.

Ben shook his head some "After what he did you should've let me put his ass in the ground." He muttered leaning forward taking a deep breath "You're not working with him?"

Clayton smiled some at her brushing his fingers down her face gently "Not long, sorry if I woke you." He said quietly as he watched her "How you feeling today?"

Pedro chuckled some lighting another cigarette and shaking his head. “Was never given the option. They don’t trust me.” He laughed.

carmen smiled and shrugged. “I’ve felt much worse... but it could be better. Physically I’m okay, they just want to make double sure.” She murmured. “Emotionally... we shall see.”

Ben nodded some "Good, we'll make sure that fucker knows who we are." He spat before standing up "I'm headed home you alright with that?" He asked

Clayton nodded some kissing her forehead gently "We'll try again as soon as you want okay?" He murmured
