Lilith gasped lightly and got on with him quickly...Afterwards she lay with him in just a t-shirt giving a content sigh as she traced circles on his chest while he smoked at a cigarette "I love you." She whispered

Clayton smiled softly and held her close to him "I love you too." He murmured groaning as the phone started ringing "Goddamn it, I just want to get some fucking sleep." He muttered going to answer the phone hearing Ricky on the other end saying they upped the price of Pedro's head.

He turned his head and kissed the top of hers, pulling her body in close to his, "I love you too mi amor." He whispered, "I'm sorry she ever thought to threaten you." He murmured.

Carmen sighed heavily, shaking her head and holding onto her pillow to try and get some sleep, one hand on her bump

Lilith nodded softly and sighed heavily "Because she was threatened by me." Shw whispered frowning a bit

Clayton came back in and curled around her kissing her cheek some "We'll be out of here sooner than I thought." He whispered

She looked over at him a little confused and half asleep, waiting until he was snuggled in with her and she got herself comfortable again. “What happened?” She mumbled, yawning and starting to drift off slowly.

Be frowned and kissed her cheek. “Well she should. I’ve already said I’m going to make you my queen and I stand by that.” He murmured, putting his cigarette out and pulled her in as close as possible to him to go to sleep

Clayton smiled kissing her temple "Nothing,just a big payday coming our way." He murmured stroking her cheek gently before he started to fall asleep

Lilith nodded some kissing him gently after he put out the cigarette "And we'll rule over everything." She whispered before she started to fall asleep with him

Carmen smiled some humming in response before falling asleep completely with her arms around him.

He lay awake most of the night just unable to rest enough to fall asleep but just enjoyed having her in his arms until the morning. He’d managed a couple hours overall and lay there patiently now waiting for her to wake up.

Lilith woke up in the morning and yawned smiling softly as she saw Pedro already awake "Good Morning mí amor." She murmured

Clayton woke up the next morning bright and early. He got dressed and did his daily routine slicking his hair back and making sure his button up shirt was dine just right. He smiled some as Carmen entered the bathroom and took her hand twirling her a bit into his arms "Good morning beautiful."

He smiled and pressed his face into her hair. “Mmm morning.l he murmured. “You think we could get away with spending all day in bed?” He asked her quietly.

Carmen smiled some and shook her head. “You have far too much energy for this early in the morning. What’s got you in such a good mood?” She asked him quietly.

Lilith smiled some and nodded "Mmm I think we could if you don't have anything to do." She said cuddling into him more

Clayton smiled happily and swayed lightly with her "Big things baby, big things happening today." He said happily as he kissed her cheek. He had planned on going for it next week but with the price being upped he knew he needed to get Pedro now rather than later

Carmen smiled some and kissed his cheek. “Alright, try not to be out too late though.” She murmured and started heading back to bed not feeling so great. She’d had a rough pregnancy so far and they were only halfway there.

Pedro sighed some. “That’s the problem... I have lots of things to do.” He muttered and kissed her head holding her close to him, “why don’t you come with me to the office though? I don’t like the idea of you being in your own.” He murmured.

Clayton nodded and smiled some kissing her gently "Will do babe,I love you." He murmured helping her to bed before leaving to get Ricky and scope out Pedro's office

Lilith nodded softly smiling a bit "That sounds good." She said softly kissing him gently cupping his cheek some "When do you need to go in?"

Pedro shrugged a little. “Not for a while.” He murmured. He was feeling safer having her there. She kept him grounded. He moved so he was hovering over her and got on with a morning quickie then got up to get dressed and head in with her, keeping her close the whole way.

Ricky sighed heavily as they sat in the car. “It was his wife that put out the hit wasn’t it? Can you imagine carmen doing that to you?” He muttered shaking his head some. “This guy just creates mania wherever he is.” He muttered.

Lilith got dressed and headed out with him. She got out and made her way quickly inside with him sighing happily. She was so happy to be there with him now it seemed as though nothing could go wrong.

Clayton shook his head some "Couldn't imagine it at all." He muttered perking up some as he saw Pedro pull up and get out. However he didn't see Lilith with him due to Ben's towering frame hiding her from his sights "Alright, give em 10 minutes then we head up."

Ricky nodded pulling round to where they could get away quickly waiting with him before heading inside.

Pedro had her up in his office smiling as she walked over and sat in his lap. “What you thinking about?”

Clayton nodded to Ricky and rushed up covering his face as he got to Pedro's office. He was thankful Ben had stepped away to take a leak and quickly went in shooting at the chair. He saw Pedro after the firsr body dropped and hit him twice in the chest not knowing he had protection on. He saw Pedro drop and smirked but frowned as he looked at the ground seeing Lilith motionless. He rushed out and got into the car breath heavy from running "Go! Now go!"

Lilith smiled happily at him as she sat in his lap with her back to the door "Just about how happy I am..." she murmured kissing him gently but soon she heard gunshots and two sharp pains hitting her back causing her to fall out of his lap onto the ground. She gasped for air whimpering as she saw Pedro fall before she blacked out.

Pedro looked up but it all happened so quickly in a blur that he didn’t catch who had been shooting at them, falling back with the force of the bullets and laying there unable to move for a couple minutes but soon got up and rushed to get to Lilith shaking his head in a panic. “Ben!” He screamed through the halls “Ben get out here I need help!” He yelled at him and quickly pulled Lilith up into his arms, holding her tightly to him, pressing his hand up to the two bullet holes in her back. “She’s been hit. Someone... came in started shooting... she got hit!” He whimpered. “Lilith wake up baby. Look at me!” He pleased as he carefully lifted her and took her down to the car to get her to the hospital.

Carmen frowned as she was sitting down at the kitchen table to have some lunch but saw both Ricky and Clayton rush into the house and just shook her head. “Clay, baby what’s going on?” Eh asked getting up to go see him.

Lilith was barely breathing as they made it to the hospital and she was rushed quickly into surgery while they forced Pedro to stay behind. Not even 5 minutes later Michelle had shown up expecting to find a dead Pedro but was shocked seeing him alive.

Clayton rushed in as he got home the same shocked expression stayed on his face as he fell into his chair silently. He heard Carmen and took a long gulp as he stared at the floor "She....she wasn't supposed to be there....it was supposed to be a quick easy hit...good money...she wasn't supposed to be there." He said quietly his voice cracking some.

Carmen frowned and moved over to him, crouching in front of him and taking his hands seeing he was shaking like mad. “Clay, baby who wasn’t? What happened?” She murmured coaxing him gently.

Pedro was sat there shaking and staring at his hands covered in her blood. “I can’t...” he paused hearing Michelle’s voice and looked up at her glaring. “Get out.” He spat.

Clay finally looked at her a single tear falling down his face "Lil...Lilith....she...she wasn't supposed to be at his office....Carmen I....I didn't mean to hit her." He whispered gulping some letting another tear fall

Michelle frowned some "I hear there was a shooting at my husband's office and the first thing you tell me is to go away, how fucking nice." She spat at him a little furious that he wasn't dead

Carmen looked at him in shock and got up quickly gathering her things, needing to get to her. “Where would they have gone?! Clayton what hospital?!” She yelled at him a little wanting to get down there now.

Pedro glared at her “I’m not a fucking idiot Michelle... l know how someone thought this would be a good idea... someone put out a hit. On me.” He muttered. “So go home. Get out of here. Before I really lose my temper with you.” He muttered shaking his head and making a disgusted face at her baby bump. He knew it wasn’t his. Or at least he was pretty darn sure.

Ricky frowned and took a deep breath "Memorial, its the closest." He muttered shaking his head some before he took her to the car since Clayton was in no shape to do so.

Michelle glared at him some shaking her head "Once our child is born this fucking disrespect is going to end Pedro." She sneered noticing the blood on his hands "Who's blood is that?"

He glared at her and stood up towering over her. “You’re right. The disrespect is gonna stop. Cause you won’t be pregnant anymore and I won’t have to hold it back. And you are going to pay for everything you’ve done. You cant live a life without consequences Michelle.” He spat at her, not answering her about the blood though just going to find a bathroom to wash it off in.

Carmen got in and chewed on her nails the whole way. “Ricky make sure he’s alright please... I’m not... I don’t think I’m mad at him.... he didn’t mean to. She shouldn’t have been there. We got her to stay away.” She whimpered making it inside the hospital and went to ask about her.

Michelle glared at him shakinh her head "I've done nothing but try to be a good wife to you Pedro. I finally give you the child you've been wanting for years and its still not enough!" She spat before going to the car she came in

Ricky nodded some and dropped her off frowning seeing Ben there "I won't leave you alone, his people are here." He muttered glaring at Pedro as he stepped out of the bathroom

Pedro turned to look at Ben shaking his head. “She’s crazy. She thinks I know nothing.” He spat fuming then just sat down with his head in his hands, frowning when he heard familiar voices. “Well look who’s here. Ricky and Carmen Cardenas? How did you know to come down here?” He questioned them just wanting answers on Lilith and getting more worried all the time.

Carmen frowned when he spotted them. “They already called our parents. My parents asked me to come down. I’m closest.... we begged her to stay away from you and now look what’s happened! She would never have been shot if it wasn’t for you!”

A nurse came out to them later on seeing they were the only people left in the waiting room "Are you here for Ms.Sanchez?" She asked sighing softly "She is in our intensive care area, one at a time please." She said frowning as a man and younger woman stood glaring at eachother

Ricky frowned as he sat there glaring at Pedro the entire time. He couldn't pull shit on hospital ground but he knew this wasn't over. As the nurse came out he stood standing infront of Pedro as he tried to get up "Family first." He said sternly
