Rain poured down on her as Shophie leaped from her spot doing a cartwheel to avoided the gunfire of a couple of marauders. A marauders was close to were she landed, she ducked low at his swing of his sword driving a knife to the mans knee before throwing the knife to another. The ground was slippery due to the rain so slid longer then expected making her fall on her backside. She didn't have a chance to recover properly as more marauders attacked with there swords, she rolled out the way using the rain to her advantage.

Nex heard something hit the ground near him, followed by the delayed shatter gun gunfire. He looked into the barely visible distance to see bursts of light. "Elizabeth, if you can hear me, make you way to the gunfire." He knew it was horrible advice, but what else could he have done? He hoped she'd already made her way there.

Nex trudged his way through the storm and bumped into a man with a gun. "Hey, what's goin-" He got a better look at the man, a marauder. "Oh." He kicked the man to the ground, kicking his rifle away and pinning him were he lay. he heard yelling from other men and one girl, feet from where Nex was.

Sophie found her chance to get to her feet before throwing two knives simultaneously striking two separate targets fatally. She was in a worsening situation, she was outnumbers five to one and she couldn't maneuver as she normally would due to the rain messing her balances. Gunfire made her instinctively duck behind cover giving her a chance to look at her options. There weren't many, the marauders were surrounding her on all sides with every intention to end her. She laughed despite the gravity of the situation, this was something she expected a long time ago.

Elizabeth barely heard Nex's shouting, this storm was getting really out of control, ignoring the buffeting winds and razor ice she pressed towards the gunfire, her eyes making out what seemed to be a group closing in on someone. Taking a gamble she swung her sword in a large arc, a swathe of flame exploding from the trail of the sword as she did, washing over the area in front of her. Her attack was weakened by the gales of the storm, but it was at least enough knock a few of the assailants to their feet. Pressing her attack she charged the closest man to her, driving her blade through his leg, incapacitating him.

Nex could hear Elizabeth near by. "Welcome back!" he joked. Nex stabbed a man with one of his daggers and threw the man against the side of the bar. The man got a lucky swing in and sliced Nex's leg. Another man came from behind and made an attempt to choke Nex. Instead, Nex swept his legs out an impaled him with both daggers. He could see the silhouette of another marauder holding a a large hammer and laughing at Nex and he slowly walked towards him.

Nex put his dagger away and pulled out his sword. Dragging it on the ground behind him, Nex dashed at the man. "Say goodbye to you kneecaps chucklehead!" Nex swing low and hit the large man's kneecaps, as promised, but not soon enough. The man's hammer hit Nex in the same leg that was sliced earlier, only lower. Nex felt and heard a crack as his body was flung into the air and into a bank of soft snow nearby.

Elizabeth was surrounded. There were more Marauders than she'd thought and they were starting to overwhelm her... If it wasn't for this dammed storm snuffing out all her magic she might be able to turn this around, but at this rate... She shook her head, thinking like that wasn't going to improve her anything.

Analyzing the situation she decided that regrouping would be the only way to improve her chances, "Nex! Where are you, we need to group up!" Making her voice as loud as possible, she could barely hear herself think past the winds of the storm and despite the volume of her voice she still wasn't confident Nex would hear her past this.

Nex was almost buried in snow, freezing. He could hear muffled voices and began digging himself out of the snow, when he tried to stand, his right leg gave out and a pain shot through his body. His right leg was obviously broken. He stumbled to his feet and saw that Elizabeth was surrounded. He tacked one of the marauders to the ground and stabbed another in the leg while he was low, giving Elizabeth enough time to make a move.

Taking the opportunity Nex has opened up for her Elizabeth swung for the man he'd stabbed, landing a direct blow on his torso. Up until now Elizabeth had been making an effort to not kill, but only incapacitate the marauders but the way things were she couldn't afford to pull any punches. Keeping her momentum she turned her attention to the man behind her, using the force of her swing to turn herself around, once again hitting some and cleaving through the man's midriff. Though in her focused state she failed to notice one of the marauders who'd stayed further off was lining up a gunshot, aiming directly at her arm probably with the intent to incapacitate her for capture.

There was a saving grace for Sophie as what appeared to be reinforcements arriving. Some of the marauders attention was drawn to fighting nearby giving her and opportunity to make a run for it. She came out of cover when the gunfire om her was relaxed, throwing a few knives at the gun men before making a break for it. A marauder appeared on her right of her running path going for a horizontal swing with a claymore sized sword, she dropped to her knees using her momentum and rain to slip under the blade. As did she placed her hand on the man leg and pushed slipping the man over. She continued to run when she saw marauders aiming a gun at another girl. She leaped at him landing with both her feet af the mans back and toppling him over, the gun fired but was way of target.

Hearing the bullet whistle past Elizabeth turned towards the sound of the gunshot, seeing two shapes fighting it out in the storm she assumed one of them was an ally. Deciding she would thank her savior once this little tussle was over she returned her attentions to the battle, parrying a taking down a marauder as he tried to get the drop on her with an axe while she was distracted. Noticing their numbers were thinning Elizabeth tried to drive the remainders of their forces off, swinging her claymore in a 360 degree spin, another swathe of flame busting forth from her it's blade as she did.

Sophie turned her attention to two marauders emerging from the storm armed with rifles. She was running out of knives so she was forced to be creative, she concentrated on the two marauders. A waves of telekinetic energy pushed the two at each other, crashing their heads together knocking them out. She smirked at the comical sight before moving to the other girl.

"Darling, it is not polite to outstay our welcome. Lets leave the fellas to their business."

Elizabeth's head jerked in the direction of the voice, almost taking a swing at it before realizing it did not belong to any of the marauders. "I'd be glad to" Responding to the woman as she switched to a more defensive stance, "Nex! We're getting out of here!"

Trying to spot Nex in the blizzard she realized he was writhing on the floor, as she made her way over to him she spotted his leg, bleeding and bending at an angle no human limb should bend."Dammit! Are you OK?" Dropping to her knees as she spoke, hoping the storm would cover her while she helped Nex to his feet.

Nex Used Elizabeth's help to get to his feet. He limped, but the leg was sturdy enough to hobble on. "Hurts lick a bitch..." he mumbled. "We gotta get all of us out of here-" He stopped and stabbed a marauder in the chest then withdrew his knife. "before it's get's too bad, the storms only getting worse." he finished.

Seeing Nex was limping Elizabeth cursed under her breath. They wouldn't be able to lose them at this speed, and she didn't exactly want to lead them back to her place, especially with Bryan still there. "Is there anywhere else we can fall back to?" Deflecting and riposting an enemy attack as she spoke, almost not even noticing the attack because of the storm.

"Not to you're place, too close." Nex started to make his way towards, where he thought was, his shelter. "Will your brother be okay byt the time you get back?" He asked her. "What about that other girl? We're not leaving her here..."

"Right" Looking around to find the other woman she grabbed her hand, she seemed to want to get out of here too and they didn't exactly have time of introductions "Come on! We're getting out of here!" Half yelling at the woman so she could be sure she would hear over the storm.

"Oh hey, nice touch there but i need date first before hand holding!"She commented cheekily though she shakes Elizabeth hand off her. She pushed back a marauders charging at them with her powers."I am behind you! Were too?!"

"I dunno! Follow him!" Gesturing towards Nex as she spoke, hoping that he actually knew where he was headed. Elizabeth was a little offended when the woman shook off her hand but she shrugged it off, this wasn't exactly a time to be petty.

"Since this my doing, can i suggests my place, darling?!"She suggested throwing the last of her knives at a marauders about to fire at them."There is a basement the tenant is kind to let me use. Small but couzy."

"Fine lead the way then!" Looking around it seem like the marauders were backing off now, but regardless Elizabeth kept her guard up, protecting the rear of their formation, well if you could even call it a formation, from any would be assassins.

Nex followed the the girl from the scuffle, weapon drawn and guard up as Elizabeth did so. To make the storm even worse, it was already very dark out. 'Her place is probably better than mine anyway, she'll probably have a roof.' Nex could hear the yelling from te marauders fade out as they ventured further into the dark storm.

"A roof? Arent we picky! Come on!" She said jokingly leading them to an abandoned boarded up general goods store. She took a set of keys from her pocket and tried unlocking the front door, though it took a bit force to actually open the door and then enter. Inside the store was debilitated and empty aside from broken stands and shelves, with signs of violence littered across the place. She moved to a toppled over stand once everyone entered, dragging it to block the door inside."Welcome home."

Nex stumbled into the house and staggered down. He made sure the door was close when everyone was in. "Everyone okay?" He said scoffing away his pain momentarily. He hobbled to his feet and used the wall to help him up.

"Thanks for the help" Giving her gratitude to the woman as she entered, aware that she'd probably be dead or in chains right now if she hadn't helped.

"Nevermind us Nex, you shouldn't even be standing right now" Making her way over to him Elizabeth took a closer look at his leg. She wasn't exactly a doctor but even she could tell the thing was in pretty bad shape. "You need to sit down, we'll find someone to treat that as soon as this storm blows over, OK?" Concern clear in her voice as she spoke, she'd seen people die from far less severe injuries than this in the past, and she wasn't too keen to see it happen again.

Nex hobbled over to chair and took a seat. "Thank you." he added to the owner of the home. He continued to take off his right arm guard and wrap it around his leg, the metal part shielding his shin.

"It'll do..." He winced but showed no other signs of being in pain.
