Caius groaned in annoyance as he felt the bar growing more and more crowded. More or less, he took a seat in the corner not wanting to be involved in conversation but wanting to keep an eye on all of the unwelcomed visitors.

Clarissa offered an apologetic look, "Sorry about him, we arent' to used to receiving visitors. Um, here. Let me go get everyone drinks." She popped into the kitchen to make some tea.

"Cool gun Mr. Damien," Ko said as she eyed the tall man putting the pistol back in to his sleeve. Pulling Chuck from her backpack, Ko stepped in front of the other man, the one with yellow eyes and dark hair. "You have lovely eyes sir." Ko said to the mysterious man. She offered a hand to him as well, as she held Chuck close to her chest.

"Thank you." Nex said standing up. All the new people he has met today, he never thought this could happen. Nex heard tea and his eyes light up for a moment.

Clarissa exited the kitchen with two trays in hand, a refreshing jasmine aroma began to fill the room. Once everyone had been given a teacup, she delicately filled everyone's cup.

Now that everyone was happily sipping on tea, she stood up shyly, "Um, so welcome! We actually weren't expecting this many people but I hope you can all make yourselves comfortable."

Ko awkwardly held her hand out, but with no luck of a handshake. All she got from the man was a simple "Thank you", and that was it. "So I guess you don't have a name yourself then, do you?" Ko whispered under her breath with a huff.

As the woman emerged from the kitchen, Ko got excited. "Mmh, tea!" She said, sitting herself on the floor in a kotatsu position.

Nex was zoning in and out when he caught back up to the younger girl. He hadn't realized it at first, but she reminded him of his little sister. He chuckled. "I'm... so sorry, I'm not really on my game today. My name is Nex." After standing up, he felt light headed but paid no mind. The room had become more crowded than he remembered. He peered over to see Caius with an annoyed look on his face. Nex just smirked back at him.

Ko chuckled at the man known as "Nex" and nodded. "It's okay, I understand. Nice to meet you sir!" She said in a chipper way, glad to make another friend. Ko eyed the tea, basking in its beautiful scent. "It smells delicious miss," Ko said as her cup was filled. She sipped her tea and felt the warmth spread in her tummy, a feeling she loved. (Going to dinner. I'll be back a little later. have fun!))

Sensing an air of hostility growing between the Caius and Nex, Clarissa reluctantly decided to take his attention, "Um, so why don't you tell us a bit about yourself Mr. Nex?"

"In all do respect, you really wouldn't want to know." he said respectfully to Clarissa with a smile. he looked over at Caius to watch his reaction. "It's long and quite frankly very boring..." He sat back in a seat think about his past, then not.

"I-I see." Even if Clarissa didn't look, she could feel Caius raise an eyebrow at this, clearly growing more and more suspicious of the guests. Clarissa rushed to change the atmosphere of the conversation. "Oh hey, that's a really cute bracelet you have, where'd you get it?"

"Oh." He smiled. "This, was my sisters. She left it behind after she was taken. I'm just trying to free her, give it back to her, and let her live her life. After that, my job will be done." He examined the bear charm on it.

"So that's how it is..." His tone was somber and Clariss mentally kicked herself for touching such a sensitive topic. Attempting to brighten the mood, She gave a warm smile, "Well then, you should hurry up and save your sister so that you can start your next job."

Judging by his choice of words, it sound like he planned on committing suicide after saving his sister. Clarissa shook her head frantically, refusing to accept these thoughts.

"Even if you feel like you don't have any other purpose, I'm sure you'll find another later." She glanced at Caius, "Isn't that right, Caius?"

Caius grunted in response. Deciding he was done playing babysitter, he retreated up the stairs.

"That requires finding a job or having one find me and I'm not too creative or do I have a lot a patience." He smirked. "I might move kingdoms... I'm not sure, like you said, I'm sure I'll find something." He smiled again and laid back, his neck still very sore.

Elizabeth was back in her hideout, she'd managed to get out the the scrap earlier mostly unscathed and undetected thanks to those two men drawing all the attention. Relaxing into a, rather rough, chair she thought things over. She could use a few allies who knew how to fight like that, especially ones who could make up for her lack of range in battle. She remembered them talking to what looked like the owner of that new bar that the bandits had established, she didn't have the best opinion of the slave driver and his hideout wasn't the most tempting of places to check out but... She needed to get into gear or her refuge would fall within days. Changing into a less suspicious getup she headed to Caius's bar finding herself at her destination surprisingly quickly, scoping the place out before she entered.

Clarissa clapped her hands as if she came to some sort of conclusion, "Tell you what, after you save your sister, we'll hire you both!" She smiled at him, awaiting his response.

"I'll run it by her." He smiled and felt honestly happy for the first time all week. "What time is it? Do you happen to know?" He felt bad and felt as though he overstayed his welcome.

Damien stayed quiet and nodded,

"Sure, I could use a job." He says as he rubs his back, it was still sore from earlier,

"I do need some money." He murmurs to himself.

"Great! I'll be waiting then!" Clarissa faked a smile, wondering how in the world she was going to get Caius to hire them. She may have been a bit quick to make that offer. But honestly, after seeing him smile like that, it was hard to say that she regretted it. But before she could put anymore thought in, a knock came on the door, "I'll get that. Oh and Nex, it's just about four."

She got up to answer the door, wondering who it was. Since there should be a closed sign on the door, perhaps they have business with one of the guests. After opening the door she threw out a greeting, "Hello there, can I help you-" She paused as she was met with a girl whose eyes and hair were a crimson red. Clarissa immediately recognized her from the plaza earlier, "Um... come in. Your friends are already inside."

Nex stood up. "I should probably get going, I've stayed far too long. Thank you so much for your hospitality." He bowed thanking Clarissa. "Tell..uh..Caius I said thank you."

Seeing the girl with the red hair from before. "Thanks for the help earlier." He said nodding toward her.

"Oh uh, Hello" Surprised by the swiftness of the response, she'd been expecting a bit more caution in times like these. Seeing the black hair boy leaving she decided to sort thing with him first "Actually, I was meaning to ask about that. You seem to be in a rush but... would you mind if we spoke for a moment?" Placing her hand on her hip as she spoke, giving her a rather expectant appearance.

"Uh, sure yeah." Nex was shocked that someone wanted to talk to him. 'Am I in trouble?' He thought to himself. He does not remember meeting this girl before, other than earlier this morning in a scuffle. His hands began to get cold once again.

"Well..." Deciding to get right to the point, not wanting to linger around a place like this for too long "I saw you fighting earlier, you seem pretty competent. And well, people need protectors, I've been trying to mop this place up myself but... There as just too many of these bandits around to deal with myself" Hoping she was clear enough in her intentions, she needed allies and she needed them quickly.

"I know what you mean." Nex put it all together all of what she was trying to say. "You trying to put together a team? Or are you just looking for a body guard?" he asked her quietly. He tightened his armguard, it felt as though it was getting loose.

"I suppose you could call it a team..." Lowering her voice in response to him, guessing that the owner of the bar wouldn't be too happy if he heard what they were speaking about "If you aren't willing to do this out of the good of your heart the only things I can offer you are favors, I'm sure there's something you could use help with in this day and age right?" She felt dirty trying to deal with the man like this, as a royal knight she should offer her aid to the people without condition, but right now... right now she was desperate...
