Nex got an idea, it was the first of it's kind, but it was there. "I'm gonna get going, thank you, Clarissa, for everything. Damien, we'll be in touch." Nex grabbed the red headed girl by the shoulder and lead her outside. He closed the door behind her. It looked as though a blizzard was about to sweep the kingdom. "Listen, I steal a lot of things, one of those things are not little girls...or girls of any sort. In fact...I steal for them." He started walking into the now windy terrain of the kingdom streets. "Now I already have a goal in this world and I'm not looking for another, but if one were to put themselves along side me to aid me in gaining that goal...I'd have no choice but to help them..." He hoped he'd made it clear for her. "Do you have a home?" He asked.

Elizabeth was surprised as the man lead her outside, she being from an upper class family she was used to a bit more respect than that. Regaining her composure before she responded. "I see..." She wasn't too eager to work with a thief, but he seemed willing, and she wasn't in a position to be picky right now "My brother and I are living nearby, would you like to discuss things there?" As she finished speaking she realized she'd forgotten to introduce herself "Elizabeth Oswald by the way, pleasure to meet you" Offering the man a handshake as she spoke her name.

Nex shook her hand. "Nex. Nice to meet you too." He was curious as to what else there was to discuss; it seemed suspicious but then again, he had nothing else to lose besides his sister, who will be let free...one day. "Younger or older?" he asked her politely. "Your brother, that is."

"Younger, it is a terrible time to be growing up in don't you think?" Giving a halfhearted smile as she spoke, ever since the start of all this she'd felt far more responsibility for her brother than usual... If she lost him... Even she was afraid of what she would do. Trying to shake those gloomy thoughts from her mind Elizabeth continued to speak "Do you know anyone else who might be interested? The sooner we can get your goal sorted the better, don't you think" The weather continuing to rise she changed route, headed back towards her place to take shelter from the coming storm.

Nex nodded. "It's tough growing up regardless of where you are." His face still stern. He began following her shift in direction, keeping his guard up. "A few people back in the bar might be interested. Other than that, I have no one el- No one in mind." He coughed and moved through the storm. "The sooner my goal is fulfilled, the sooner I can find another." Nex's mind shot back about what Clarissa had said.

"Do you have any leads then?" The storm getting powerful now she quickened her pace, almost at her home, enticed by the thought of a warm fire and hopefully, a warm hug as a respite from the weather.

"Leads, no. Motives, tactics, weapons, and a personality, yes. I think those will suffice for lack of leads." he said, now slightly yelling over the power of the storm. The windy brought ice crystals which started to give Nex's face windburn. "How much further?" he yelled to Elizabeth. His right hand was now numb from bare blocking the punishing wind, yet he persisted, caring not for himself.

"Not mu- We're here!" Spotting the small door to her house while she spoke. Rushing towards it she pushed it open, rushing inside relived to escape the weather. She was disappointed to see that Bryan had already gone to bed she sighed, she'd been out all day an wanted to see him before she retired herself, never the less she decided to warm the place up, setting the fireplace alight and taking a seat on one of the rough wooden chairs around the kitchen table "You're welcome to stay until this blows over if you'd like" Smiling in Nex's direction as she spoke.

Nex pulled the door shut and locked it. "Damn near frozen hell out there." He chucked slightly. "Thank you, I won't overstay my welcome." He tossed a spark into the fireplace making it grow ever so slightly larger. He took off his cloak and placed it near the edge of the fire. "I hope you don't mind." He was now just in black jeans, boots, and a tattered, black 3/4-sleeve shirt, his arms decorated with his markings and jewelry. His matte black hair draping over his face from the melted ice. He sat down in a chair on his hands to warm them.

Elizabeth frowned a bit as he sat on his hands, it wasn't exactly the most gentlemanly thing to do, though she'd just invited a man she had known for less than hour into her home so she supposed she wasn't one to talk. Her clothes becoming damp from the thawing frost she stood up "I'm going to go change, we should talk about the details of your goal when I get back" Promptly heading upstairs after she'd spoken.

"Of course." Nex said looking around the house. It was nice, and well-kept in comparison to his shelter, which was a crashed airship that he nearly killed a man over. Hands finally warm, he rested his arms on his lap and examined his bright red hands. "Storm's somthing..." He mumbled to himself.

Quickly throwing off her clothes she began suiting up in her armor. "That's better.." Sighing happily as she fixed the last clip on the armor. She knew it was odd, but she just felt so much more at home when she wore this, she'd spent so long wearing armor regular clothes just felt foreign and insecure. Returning downstairs she took back her seat "Now, what exactly are you trying to achieve here?" Joining her fingers and resting her chin on them while she spoke.

Nex took a breath before speaking. "During the attack, I lost my mother and soon after, my father took his own life. My younger sister, Emma, who is 17, blamed me and ran away in anger. She attacked a few guard, got wounded, and captured. By the time I got there, she was already gone. This bracelet is all I have left of her. That was on the day of the attack. It's been 8 days, 9 tomorrow. All I want to know is if she's alive and if she is, I don't care what it takes, I'm getting her out of there. Get in my way, and you will die. Just...throwing that out there." He clasped his hands together and exhaled. "So what is it exactly...that you need from me?"

Elizabeth's gaze softened as Nex told his story, she felt sympathy for him, his situation not to different from hers, albeit with the loss of his sister he was far worse off. "I told you, I want to try and take this city back... These Marauders are cowards. If we get enough people together I'm sure we can do this..." Her voice trailing off, she wasn't actually positive what she'd said was true, their numbers seemed to be increasing every day, and she was getting more and more tired with every battle.

Nex sighed. "They took this place over in one night, because of sheer numbers. I killed about...8 or so today? And say...40 or so during the attack?" He guessed. "That's not even a shimmer of a dent. If you want to take back the city...we gonna either need numbers or strength. So far, they've got numbers, and strength. We've got neither." he withdrew from his argument but then added, "However, there is strength in numbers." He thought for a moment. "If you want to organize this, I'll gladly help, but after I find out about my sister. And I'll only help, when you become more sure and confident when you speak." He smirked, trying to make a slight joke. His face regained his stern look again, "Look, I'd rather this not had happened at all. My family is shattered because of it, and that poor kid, the prince, he was only 19. But what happened, happened, and you're right in that...this kingdom needs to be taken back, but by confident people. The marauders were confident when they attacked, look at where that got them." He stood up and walked to the other side of the table and extended his hand for a handshake. "I'm in, but only after I find out about my sister. Besides, by then I'll need something else to use as a goal."

Elizabeth winced as Nex spoke, she wasn't used to receiving criticism like this and it sure did sting as much as she imagined it would. Taking his hand and shaking it firmly she spoke "Well! I suppose we better start with your sister dilemma then shall we?" Pulling her hand away she jumped to her feet, brightening up a bit at the thought of finally being able to help someone out, "Well, where do you want to begin then?" speaking with a renewed enthusiasm clear in her voice.

A group of marauders of six, sat together outside a small bar close by, half drunk on beer and other spirits both legal and illegal with atmosphere heavy and quite amongst them. The arrival of a slender girl changed all that, a smile in her face seemingly uplifting the mood of the predominantly men group. She passed casually through the marauders without trouble zeroing in the apparent head of the pack, apart from the odd cheer and lecherous comment which she took with a wink and air kiss. This display was not unusual, woman and sometime men often provided their services to the marauders for extra cash or our of desperation.

"Hey, sweety. Why the long faces?"The girl asked standing over the leader of the pack.

Leader sighed waiving of the marauder next to him to allow for the girl to sit which she accepted sitting close to him.

"Few S**ts took down some of our guys, we are drinking for them before go look for the bastards responsible."He said taking a long sip of his beer before turning to his men."Right men?!"

They let out a shout of agreement but were too drunk to make it sound enthusiastic.

"Oh you poor dears. I wish i could help you with that. Maybe i can...."She said a pitying tone letting the applied meaning sink in before reaching in for the locket around her neck. She showed the two pictures inside to the leader smiling sweatly."You see these two...Cute huh...Well, they were the reason i help killed your friends."

It took a moment for the realization to sink in for the marauder leader and went to call out. However, he couldn't his throat felt constricted and couldn't breath as if someone was strangulating him. However there was no hands around his neck, the girl next to him was only looking at him intensely with a trickle of blood running down from her nostril. He tried to struggle but he couldn't move and he rapidly fading away, when any of the marauders realised what was happening it was too late. When the cries of alarm went, the girl already drew her knives.

Damien sits in a chair and tinkers with his sleeve gun, he really needs a different gun,

"I hope I'm not overstaying my welcome." He looks outside, realizing there is a storm he swears under his breath,

"Great tea." He says as he takes a sip, he then sets down the tea and takes off his gun.

Nex thought for a moment. "Well, I need to know where to find her, then break into that place, and break her out. After that, I need to make sure she has a home." He smiled at her enthusiasm. 'There we go' He thought. "Then I can help you." he smirked and stood up.

The sound of alarms rang in the streets, somehow piercing the whining winds of the storm. Nex looked at Elizabeth. "You wanna check it out?"

Clarissa gazed out the window, "Feel free to stay until the storm ends. You can all stay the night if it comes down to it."

She smiled as she poured everyone another cup. Somehow, the atmosphere had become rather peaceful. Like a tea party! She let loose a giggle, thinking this. But in the middle of her laughter, over the roaring of the outside winds an alarm pierced through.

Clarissa wondered out loud, "What could be happening out there with this storm going on?"

Damien shrugs as he reaches into his jacket, he pulls out an instrument that looks like a small piano or keyboard with something protruding out of one end. He puts it up to his mouth and starts to play it, it makes a noise like a harmonica or an accordion.

Curiosity sparked inside Clarissa s he began to play the odd instrument, "Oh? What kind of instrument is that? I've never seen anything quite like it."

"Oh ho ho. You know I do." Picking up her sword and donning a cloak to protect herself from the storm she headed towards the door. "Well, hop to it then! Lets go see what all this commotion is about shall we?" Pushing open the door a she spoke, the storm air buffeting in through the door as soon as it swung open.

Damien glances over, he stops playing for a second,

"It's called a Melodica, it's actually kind of ironic I have it since it shouldn't be in cold weather." He chuckles to himself, it really was ironic.

"It's quite a nice little instrument, it reminds me of one of my favorite bands that was around quite some time ago." He smiles, remembering the band 'Gorillaz' makes him happy.

Nex nods and grabs his cloak. He puts it on quickly and follows Elizabeth out into the hellish storm, closing the door behind him and drawing his daggers. "Elizabeth?" He yells into the storm, he had already lost sight of her. "Damnit!"
