Fantasy Soul Secrets

Honesty doesn't even seemed that affected when she spits onto his face. He blinks. "You freaked out! But you get the gist, floating is easy. Now..." He picks up some water in his palms, and formed a small little floating board. He handed it to Katarina. "Just hold this, spread it apart from you, and kick like you're swimming. This will warm you up to when you start using your arms and legs simultaneously." Honesty smiled brightly, looking over at Julie who was laughing, then started laughing as well. "Go on then~" He encouraged Katarina.

Katarina scowls. "This is so embarrassing." She says as she takes the board. She holds onto the board and starts kicking her legs, with the same scowl still resting on her face.

"Huh so that's what they call a "nationally ranked swimmer's perfect body."' Julie commented as he's examining Honesty's physique. He had muscles more defined, like they were chiseled by a skilled artisan, than where Julie wasn't and vice versa, a machine built for the water."Your back muscles is pretty impressive, how long have you been swimming?"

"Where have I head that before...?" Honesty asked, at his comments on his body. "Since I was in my mother's womb~ 'Cuz you know.... You're like... Swimming in the womb." Honesty coughed, frowning for a moment. "I started swimming in an actual pool when I was about 6 or 7. Haven't stopped since. I'm in love with water~" He said calmly. "Keep going~ I'll be there in a second, Kat."

When she asked, he didn't answer for a little while. He was too busy staring into her eyes, looking between one after the other as if he was waiting for them to change; like he was being tricked. It was hard to find psychic users these days, those souls who understood just what it meant to be a pink soul. His tongue escaped the depths of his mouth to moisten his lips, before both of his hands moved from his sides. Placing both of his palms softly onto the woman's cheeks, he gave her a response in the same fashion that she had originally given him though, it wasn't verbal as much as it was physical.

Obviously, the sensation of his flesh touching her flesh was not what he was referring to. More, he was referring to the fact of the female feeling his presence as a pink soul. Leaving the lingering feeling of his fingertips softly gracing her cheeks, with one of his hands dropping to find hers, he would stand up. With them both connected, Cameron looked up to the top of the barrier and extended his hand toward it. The barrier began shaking violently, before bursting; leaving small bits and pieces of the construct to float onto the ground and disappear. When the barrier was fully disintegrated, the young man let go of the female's hand and turned back to her.

"You don't need that, anymore. I'll be your protector from now on."

If there was another person out there, like him, there was no way he could let them go. Few and far between, only a select few knew the experiences of being a pink soul, and he had finally found someone to fully connect to. Moving immediately beside her, so that his arm was touching hers, he sat against the same tree she had been. Pulling his kneecaps up slightly, he didn't say another word. The expression that was written upon his features was that of happiness, though inside, he was experiencing an ecstatic emotion. As if he was buzzing, without having to use drugs in order to do so.

Applying his telekinesis as further proof, he would speak once more. His voice would echo in the back of her mind, if he had done it correctly; considering the fact that he had spoken to plenty of people in such a way before, the young man didn't belive he'd have an issue.
"My name is Cameron." And you're who i've been looking for.

Valentina gave a little jolt as she woke to her stomach growling, in all this fun she had forgotten to eat. She slowly got up yawning and rubbing her eyes, picking up her half complete flower basket. She looked around before spotting a pretty fruit tree way into the forest. She stretched and begin to make her way back there, still sleepy and out of it.

"Huh...I guess floating in the womb could be considered swimming..." Julie pondered to himself as he watched Honesty go help Kat, glad that people are helping each other. He lays down on his back as he watches the sky, holding up a leaf as it starts to contort into different shapes that weren't possible otherwise without his power.

Katarina mutters something inaudible, then swims to the other side of the pond on the board. She stands up and waits for Honesty to come over to where she is. Looking up from her spot, she sees a beautiful spot where the sun is completely unblocked, the trees are everywhere but that place and the clouds are avoiding the magnificent sun. She is in awe, and she notices that some things start glowing around her. I said it once and I'll say it again. This place is beautiful.

Jane can't help but laugh at this Fire girl's attempt to swim. Jane begins to laugh meekly under her tongue, and mock the girl under her breathe.

"Afraid of the water are ye?" Jane yells to Katarina.

Katarina glares intensely at Jane for a moment. She then fakes a smile and in a mocking tone, says, "What is that I hear? Oh! It's the sound of yet another moron. It's music to my ears. It fills me with a warm assurance there will be plenty of ignorant shits around to mow my lawn and cook my burgers after high school."

Valentina gives a loud snort at the girl words, having found a fruit bush close to the pond, she has been munching on mulberries.

When Cameron didn't answer her, Chantal worried if this was a trick, but once his hands found themselves places gracefully on her cheeks, she scraped the feeling of doubt. It was affection, intimacy, she hadn't felt in a long while and somehow knew that what was happening was true and factual. She released a gentle sigh once one of his hands landed onto hers and instantly felt a connection between them, watching him as he dispersed the barrier she constructed with ease, particles of the once strong psychical fort floating in the air before disappearing into nothing.

Her gaze never left him once he turned back to her, reassuring her she didn't need it anymore and that he was her protector from now forth. Protection? She didn't need protection - not now nor did she need it years before. Her eyes averted back to the ground as he took a seat beside her, their arms touching. Contemplating if she should say anything, he beat her to it by startling her; hearing his voice within her head. It was a weird feeling, but strangely enough, it was comforting to have someone else inside her mind other than herself.

His words lingered around her mind for a while and she turned to look at him. Using her own telekinesis, she returned the favor and spoke in his head as well. "You've been looking for me?" she asked.

Honesty actually managed to fight off his laughter hearing what the fire soul said. He swam over with ease, more gliding than physical swimming. "Humans are usually 72% water, but you're 100% a hot head..." He said in a friendly tone. "Now. You know how to move your arms when you swim?" He said, not actually expecting her to know.

Katarina turns to Honesty. "Well, I've seen people swim before. I'm 17, not 7." She says, rolling her eyes. "I just... Can't swim, I guess. I know what to do, I just can't do it."

Jane smirks, and takes off her black jacket, revealing her simple white rocker shirt.

I'll show them how to swim

Jane's jealousy and rivalry of Katarina was growing, and Jane was going to show it. Jane jumped into the water, and began making her way towards Honesty and Kat, and begins to smile once again.

Katarina notices Jane coming up to her and Honesty, and she suddenly feels scared. What is she planning? That smile looks especially devious. Katarina glares at Jane expectantly. "What do you want?" Katarina sneers. "And what happened to your innocent girl facade?"

Cameron took a deep breath. Truely not the greatest with other people, he did his best to continue speaking at the best of his ability without seeming awkward. Of course, this had all ready failed when he said that he would protect the girl that he just met, and he was kicking himself all for the use of the language he chose. Particularly, what he had meant when he said he would protect her, is that she didn't need a barrier to hide herself away in. She didn't need that protection anymore. But, oh well, words lost to time without a chance of being taken back, as was life, normally.

The SEP was hunting down souls, now. He had seen a couple taken in on his way to the forest, alone. Cameron wasn't sure just what exactly had triggered this event, but the number of pink souls had all ready been drastically reduced from the get go. However, this isn't something that needs to be delved into more.
"There was this... Pulse. It raced through my body when you bumped into me." Cameron started on, ready to continue explaining himself. He wasn't so sure she wanted a full-winded answer, or even cared to speak to him at all, but he continued anyway, ultimately deciding to keep it sweet and to the point.

"I needed to see if you were like me. Something caused that vibration of my nerves, you know? Now I understand what it was. Just you."

Just her, and everything she had to offer. What was this mysterious thing about being a soul? What was it within the genetic mainframe of humans that connected the same color souls, or all souls all together? There were so many questions that were yet to be answered, which he pondered nonstop. Wondering if he would ever find someone with a strong enough connection to be able to sit around in silence with and still be comfortable. Of course, he had not known the female longer than a handful of minutes, but he was willing to spend an exponential amount more getting to know who was beside him. Throughout the entire ordeal, Cameron kept his eyes straight ahead into the depths of the forest, as far as he could see.

Chantal listened intently as the other spoke within her mind, his voice melting away all of her stress and worry he had dealt with today. It really was satisfying to hear someone else in her head, especially if that someone was a person who shared the same ability – soul, link – with you. As he explained the pulse he felt once she had bumped into him accidentally before, she remembered feeling something similar as well though she brushed it off as the moment occurred. “When I first saw you, I felt... a certain tingle in my senses,” she started to explain. “I haven't had a feeling like that ever since I've seen another person with a pink soul in a cafe not so long ago before he was taken from the S.E.P. authorities... And then, when I had bumped into you, I, too, felt a pulsation; though it was very light and intimate.

She frowned and looked away, turning her head opposite from Cameron. Feeling as if she was saying too much, she stopped herself and sighed. She was not accustomed to speaking with others and she was far away from being adequate with conversations.

However, two words replayed in her head: Just you. “Just me?” she said aloud, then continued with telekinesis. “I seriously doubt it was just me. You been in contact with other like you and me, haven't you? What makes me so special in order for you to say such a thing? Just because of a pulse you've felt by be bumping into you?” Chantal felt herself becoming flustered – which soon turn into irritation. She knew she wasn't the only one who possessed a pink soul and wondered why, out of all people, Cameron would pick her to be the 'knight in shining armor'.

Cameron smiled. Oh, how the girl must have thought he was trying to pick her up. It was horribly quite the opposite from his intention, but he spoke as to clear the air between the two. "Yeah, there are others." He stopped momentarily, realizing he was speaking out loud. He continued anyway, figuring it was easier for him to go in depth with such a conversation as opposed to having any distractions whatsoever, which is what establishing a com link usually did - every time he spoke. "I graduated last year. My apartment is on the south side of town, and I live alone." Cameron would have mentioned his depressive use of drugs, but ultimately passed on it. "I don't really have anybody but myself. As far as pink souls go, I haven't spoken to another since before I realized I was one myself."

Wasn't that the unfortunate truth.
"Honestly, maybe I just know how to pick 'em." A light-hearted joke, despite the fact that the young woman beside him could have had the opportunity to turn it into something that was more rude. "You're the only person i've been able to feel as though i'm close with, even though we just met. That's what I mean by just you." He got up to his feet and walked a couple of feet from the woman, before turning back. Cameron put a cigarette in his mouth and lit it. "I've never had that happen to me before." Of course, Cameron was referring to what he felt when her arm had touched his a couple of minutes beforehand.

"Sorry if I seem weird, or whatever." He trailed off, not sure that he wanted to say anything else. Just standing there, feeling her presence, he felt as though he was immensily calmer, more rational. Despite this, it didn't help the fact that he was still painfully awkward to deal with sometimes. Cameron hated showing it, which was one of the reasons he more-often-then-not decided to stay in the house rather than go out and be sociable.

Chantal sighed. She really shouldn't let minimal comments get to her like that, that was one of the major reasons why she couldn't hold a proper conversation with people. She just hated the feeling of being flustered with passion, it was an awkward state. Listening to Cameron again, she took a mental note of how there were others just like themselves and how he graduated last year, so that would make him a year older than her. He made a comment about how he didn't have anyone but himself and nodded to herself on how similar they were.

She bypassed the light-hearted joke and looked up at him as he stood up on his feet, pulling out a cigarette and placing it between his lips. An awkward silence waltzed around them after a while. She started to play with the edges of her book, speaking aloud. “No, please, you don't seem weird at all. I'm sorry if I came off as rude, I'm not use to this whole talking to another person scenario,” said the female. She lingered in the silence for a bit more.

“My name is Chantal, by the way,” she introduced herself. “... And I'm all that I've got as well,” a sad chuckle escaped her mouth before she licked her lower lip. “But, somehow, I'm glad that we finally met each other.”

(Hey, so I'm going to get one last post in before I leave)

James unplugged his speakers, and just began to pack up. "I'm going home... Need my sleep!" James was actually tired; he'd done all that light summoning and it was finally getting to him. He put his laptop away and grabbed his bags. Then, he put on his hoodie. Never knew who could find him with his glowing palms. He just slowly walked home. It's not as bad here, he thought. Hmm... He could be safe for once... James liked that. He didn't want to move again, but he might have to. He opened his apartment door, and found that everything was... Fine! He expected more of a mess. He walked downstairs and out to the post office. He picked up a letter assigned to him. Just bills... Oh, well. He walked back, climbed in bed, and began to sleep for a bit.

(This is just so I don't have to reply to anything, can we leave him alone?)

She wasn't being rude. Cameron just understood that it must have been awkward, the way he just forced himself into her barrier, to make himself known. How could he not? It was an awkward situation especially, considering they were birds of a feather. When she gave her name, Cameron wasn't going to have to make any mental notes, or try to remember it. Considering that she was who she was, there was no way he would forget. Digging into his pockets, he grabbed a tiny elastic band. Pushing a good amount of his hair back, he put it in a small ponytail so that his bangs would stay out of his face. Even though they were in the middle of a forest, there still seemed to be a couple of fair gusts of wind on occasion.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Chantal. Really." More than you might know.

Looking around at those around him, he tried to find words to make conversation. Not that he needed to, but for some reason, he actually wanted to. That was when he recalled the souls he encountered in passing on the way to the pond they were sitting around. Hog-tied and taken off like livestock, Cameron was particularly upset at the entire situation. He had not acted, but he did not know the situation fully, so that translated to the young man's inactivity.
"Did anything weird happen in school today?"

"There's been some weird things going on with the SEP. I've been able to slightly observe some of the sporatic behavior that has been on display." He crossed both of his arms, the cigarette burning away as it hung loosely from his closed mouth. Cameron was staring up into space, focusing on particularly nothing while combing through the options in his head. Though, he wasn't stupid. He was more hoping that the SEP wasn't gearing up to pull something.

With a slight nod of acknowledgement and relief, Chantal leaned more back into the tree and picked up her book, flipping the pages to find where she was last. Once found, she continued to read, bringing the book up to her face as she nosed dived into the fictitious world created my words. When asked if something weird happen at school today, Chantal's breath hitched for a moment and painted worry on her face.

After a while, she replied: “S.E.P. conducted a search on students today, ordering us to report to the gym for an eye inspection,” she started to explain, eyes not leaving the book. “It would've been horrible too if Julie and Ben weren't there to make the guard a little off edge and not exactly pay attention to our eyes,” she stopped for a second to let out a sigh. “Honestly, if it weren't for Julie, I wouldn't be here. My right contact somehow slipped out of my eye, bearing the true hue. I thought I was a goner.” She had to thank Julie more properly when the chance arrived. How could she be so stupid for not fixing her contact after taking it out during lunch? She'll never let that go.

Clearing her throat softly, Chantal spoke again. “We all made it through without harm and somehow we all made it to this pond together.” Well, they did. She was just trying to go back home.

Julie stretched out next the pond, staring straight up toward the sky. Aside from the whiskered animals tickling him with their noses, the children snuggling in his warmth, Julie took notice to nothing else. Thoughts of today lazily ran through his head, he cherished each moment. From when he met Samael again to the point where he met Cameron. They weren't his close friends back then but they were kindred spirits, or well souls. He thought about the times when he met other souls too, how they abused their powers, how the people had the right to be scared. Although he did put a stop to a number of them, he thought about how sad and scared they actually were. He could relate to their pain, but he couldn't pity himself just because of the S.E.P, he only had tomorrow to look forward to. Only tomorrow...he thought about the others, how some were close to being captured and killed, that they would had been robbed of their tomorrow. That thought was the one that scared him the most, tears began to quietly rolled down his face, Julie was truly happy that no one was killed today. The passing breeze gently caressed his hair as he wiped his face with his arm.

Ben sat on the side of the water after getting out. She watched the chatter slowly seem to transcend in quiet as though everyone was ready not to leave. She wished she could stop them and turn back time.. do something to be sure they would all make it to school tomorrow. Graduate. Live. She wished the future would fall to line so those she now associates as souls and good true people.. so now instead of trying to make today even longer, why was she just watching with a big dumb smile on her face?

today doesnt end.. it just continues into tomorrow huh? She thought of Julie's words. They do make some form of sense.. she looked over at said stranger, chuckling lightly. A shiver ran through her as Ben put socks and shoes on wet feet and a sweat on a soaked tanktop. Time to go home now? Hopefully not but she knew it would be time soon enough.
