Fantasy Soul Secrets

Ben stared at V or.. um.. cameron for a while now. He talked and acted like the right guy. He was back, from death.. ben inhaled finally able to do so without worry since she came back and sighed. "Im sorry.. i thought you were dead. Next time we wont leave you to fight alone." She offered in a quiet voice.

Cameron shook his head horizontally, from side to side in order to indicate how displeased he would be if they stopped. They hadn't even gotten halfway yet, after all. He had the worst migraine - one that felt as though his brain might burst through his forehead. Whatever the case was, Cameron happened to be a tough son-of-a-bitch. A little bit of backlash for physical activity from his body certainly wasn't going to keep him. Yet, he also wasn't aware of what truely was making the body sick, and how this was only the beginning.

Four more hours. He would have shown Chantal some intimacy, but he wasn't in the position to currently do so. Especially not when he felt as though his damned organs were shutting down. So, instead of reciprocating her touch, he just continued walking as best as he could. His pace had slowed significantly from the beginning of the group's trudge, and he wasn't exactly leading anybody on at this point, but he was still moving at a decent pace. As fast as he could, really.

James just continued walking... At least someone wasn't dead yet. Hey, he was still alive, and he did owe Cameron one. They would get there soon. "I'm sorry too..." "Going against V would kill us both, so I didn't go after you. But you seem to still be alive, so that's a plus." He saw his slow pace, though. But after all of that, he continued marching on. A smile hit his face as he remembered that song.

There's so many wars we fought, There's so many things we're not, But with what we have, I promise you that, We're marching on, (We're marching on) (We're marching on). For all of the plans we've made, There isn't a flag I'd wave, Don't care if we bend, I'd sink us to swim,We're marching on,(We're marching on)(We're marching on). James thought.

When Cameron shook his head, Chantal sucked her teeth, knowing that what he meant was that he didn't want to stop. She took her hand away but remained at his side, glancing up at Honesty again, then back at the ill male. Another growl from her stomach. It wasn't common sense to realize that in his current condition he wasn't going to make it to the safe house, for they had way more ground to cover, she speculated.

His walking pace slowed and hers with it. She couldn't help it. She couldn't help feeling extremely annoyed at his stubborn attitude for not wanted to stop and rest for a bit. Push himself too hard? Then he was surely to die from exhausting himself. Though she didn't know what exactly was wrong, Chantal wasn't going to put up with him dragging on. So, he ran in front of him and walked backwards to place a hand firmly on his chest, again, to make him stop. She didn't care if he would stagger and fall on top of her, all she wanted was for him to stop walking. If he would force her hand away, she would place it right back on his chest.

“Cameron, can you just stop?” she scowled at him. “You're obviously not feeling nor looking well so stop being stubborn about it. Do you really want to exert yourself?” Not exactly intentional, Chantal gave him a light, but firm push to force him to stop. Her bright eyes stared at him then looked up at the floating blue soul. “I can carry you, you know. I can take care of you if you just give me the chance to try.”

Travis was skating real slowly as he traveled with the group for a while now. He has been eating a pastry hands free, his mouth held it while he ate it. Night was coming, were they going to have to sleep in another shady location? At least it should be somewhere not dangerous, that would only prove that they are extremely unlucky. The yellow soul ate the pastry as he hope that the group of souls get to stay somewhere relatively normal and safe.

The 2 hour walk made his skating feel monotonous, so he decided to mix it up by skating backwards. This allowed him to see most of the souls. The blue soul was being carried by telekinesis, poor guy must have been out of it thanks to the event that he doesn't want to remember. The one who was doing the carrier was unusually far behind along with the other pink soul, they seemed to be going slow. " Are you guys tired?" He asked. The young teen wasn't, at least not for a while.

Confused was an understatement for Lexi when Cameron looking not so like Cameron came back. She didn't know how is was possible but she believed it was him, why else would Chantal be so content with him? Before leaving, Lexi added the collection of light bulbs to her ragged bag pack, she kept one in her hand as they walked. She only snapped out of her new obsession when Travis suggested a rest. Really she was feeling ok, but slightly tired out from trying to manipulate her power.

Julie walked with his head down, arm crossed, only paying enough attention to the sound of his friends. It was a very long walk, unlike the promised 40 minute, but they had to endure. Julie was partially asleep, although he was aware of where he was going, he didn't know much else. With half-lidded eyes, he followed while staring as his own two feet. He tried to close his eyes for a bit but the likeness of running into a tree was extremely high so he couldn't bring himself to doing so. Yawning, he tried his best to get some oxygen to his brain, not to mention his legs were exhausted too.

"I'm tired." he answers freely, but he had no intention to rest. It was already getting dark, the jungle wasn't exactly so kind. Well at least the safe house is in the middle of this discreet place, hopefully this place wouldn't prove to be their downfall. His eyes widen when a person suddenly appeared in the middle of their group. A man in a clean cut suit, who didn't even bother to notice their existence.

Katarina watched as Lexi played with the light bulbs. She was laughing a bit at how funny the Souls are with their little quirks. Honesty loving to swim, Lexi lighting up light bulbs and Ben and Julie, they can hear animals! Katarina's slow trot with the group became pretty slow, and it seems as if we won't get anywhere without resting. Travis was being smart, they needed to take a breather. They were Souls, they weren't gods. They were still human.

"There you are, V." A man chimed in, wearing a suit. He was looking straight at Cameron, and looked like he was going to take him. Katarina instantly went into a fighting stance. This man gave off a vibe that felt dangerous.

Valentine yawned as they continued to walk. Her feet were killing her but she didn't say anything cause that would be rude. They were finally out of that horrible town and things were looking up. She looked around at the group everybody did indeed look like they needed a lot of rest,Travis idea was a pretty good one. She was just about to answer Travis when a stranger appeared. He was pretty but his aura was a dangerous one. Was he talking about her, who was this V.

Agent

"Oh, There you are, V."

The man emerged from behind the trees and bushes that surrounded the group within the jungle, standing in front of them, clad in an all black suit. He sighed while he brought up a hand to his shoulders to brush of collected dust and dirt from the jungle. He hated jungles. While he removed the filth with the back of his hand, he didn't bother too look up at the group of souls in his way. His priority was bringing V back and he was already getting a lot of breaths down is neck from the big people in charge for not keeping an eye on him. He never asked to be his 'babysitter' in the first place. Man, being an agent was becoming a real drag.

Once the agent was done, he looked up and flipped his hair a little bit, pulling out his cellphone from his front pocket. With his phone in one hand, he used his other free hand to point his index finger at, presumably, V. His eyes were glued to the cell screen as he pointed, sending texts to the person he had to report back to, and bent his finger downward to usher V to him.
"I've been looking for you for a while now. Didn't I say not to run off without me?" he said, directing his voice to V only. "Now come here so we can leave this place."

Of course the agent noticed the group that was accompanying V and he did wondered why they weren't dead already since V was a murdering maniac, but he didn't care. He could care less, really. Still fixed on the cellphone screen, he sent his text messages:

Boss Man
left
Did you find him yet?
right
yeah just a moment ago. he's with a bunch of kids though.
left
Does it look like I care about a bunch of kids? Just get V and leave.
right
should i, ya know, dispose of the brats?
left
Only if they get in your way.

He sighed again but loudly this time. He didn't want to deal with a bunch a kids. He prayed they wouldn't do anything stupid cause, seriously, he just wasn't interested in them. Slipping the phone back in his front pocket, he looked to the left and ran fingers through his blonde hair before looking at V with stern eyes.
"Why are you just standing there? Get the f*ck over here!" he yelled, putting both hands in his pant pockets.

Lexi's bulb shattered at the sudden new voice. Wincing, she had to pick out a few little splinters of glass out of her hand before she saw the stranger. Kat on edge was enough to make Lexi pay attention and become wary. That was until he began to demand for Cameron. Panic gnawed at Lexi's insides, she slid unnoticed over to Kat and matched her defensive status. She had a bad feeling about this guy and saw it reflected in the group.

With her attention still fixed on Cameron, Chantal started to regret her light shove she had just done. It wasn't in her nature at all to do something of the sort and the more she thought about it, the more saddened she became. She was going to apologize before a mysterious voice came from behind her, startling her and caused her to turn around. She moving behind Cameron instinctively and lowered her other hand down that was busy suspending Honesty, placing him carefully on the ground. Her eyes found their way to a man pointing to the pink soul beside her and she frowned. Now what, she thought.

Honesty was lifted up my Chantal's mystical pink soul powers, and he wasn't complaining. But this made him think about what he could see during being possessed. He could see, just barely, but... He didn't have control of his body and that was scary. He shook his head. As long as it's over and no one got hurt... He finally managed to get some sleep while they were walking and what not, but soon the blue soul was just awake and lying in silence. His mind was somewhere else, and he didn't pay much mind to the new stranger, until Chantal lowered him onto the ground. He wheezed gently, leaning into a push up and gently returning to his sitting position. Honesty then got onto his two feet, struggling to not wobble and staring at the future Armin Arlelt.

Honesty tilted his head, taking a messy swig of the energy drink.

"I think you're mistaken with somebody else, Mister. x)" Julie feigned friendliness with a smile. Underneath, all the red alarms had been provoked, this man meant trouble. The mere presence of him made Julie's hair stand up despite the fact that he seemed to not want to have anything to do with them, only "V". How exactly should you respond in this situation? Julie quickly glanced at Cameron, was he being mistaken by his new appearance? It didn't seem to be any small mistake.

Julie had energy still conserved, but not much for a prolonged fight. Discreetly glancing around at the others, Julie took mental notes of each of their current situation, before his eyes shifted back to [the] agent. He kept caution around this person, fully knowing that he intends to take Cameron whom he calls "V". Regardless, Julie had no intention of letting him do what he wants.

After pushing Chantal's hand away, Cameron began running at the agent as fast as he could, Without responding to the ominous man, he sprung into action. Sickness, physical illness or mental exhaustion aside, he was willing to give up this body if it meant keeping people safe. His feet dug into the floor as he sprinted along, closing the distance between the two in decent amount of time. When he was close enough to the agent, he bent his knees slightly and jumped into the air, spinning once while still moving toward the blond-haired man, before sending a tornado kick to his face.

Regardless of whether or not they landed, Cameron would land with both feet planted on the floor immediately in front of the man. Turning his body to the side, he rose both of his fists up. Extending his arms slightly in front of his face, he held his body at a muy-thai stance. Sweat was pouring down his face. Cameron even felt like vomiting, but he took deep breaths as best he could. He couldn't get a second to speak back to the man... Not even to throw in a sarcastic remark. There was no energy for it. Anything that was left in the tank was used when he ran and threw his couple of kicks.

Regardless of whether or not he could take it, Cameron feigned the will to fight. His stomach heaving in and out violently as those pink hues stared intently at the agent.

Ben watched as cameron recklessly jumped into action. She knew he had no energy. Itwas evident in how he heldup on the walk. She got to his side, prepared to defend in any way possible, thankingall her self defence and fighting classes along with sports.

Agent

The agent kept his calm composure as V ran towards him, his hands remaining within his pockets and his posture straight. He just assumed the poor guy was running towards him like a child missing its mother, ready to go home, before V jumped up to towards him to spin once in order to try and kick him in the face. Huh. That was a new welcome.

He tilted back, leaning just enough to avoid the kick as the air from the violent gesture grazed his face ever so lightly. The agent returned to his original position and just looked at V, uninterested. Well, that was before he realized it wasn't V, not anymore. V would never do a move like as technical as that. He furrowed his brows at who ever this person was in V's body, taking note of the female who ran to his side, but was neutral towards her.

The agent saw the male extend his arms from his face and with one look, he could tell he wasn't fit to fight him; or anyone in that matter. He noticed the bright hues the male possessed and came to a realization. Yeah, this wasn't V. Just another snot-nosed kid possessing a pink soul. That really annoyed him.

He just blinked and looked at the kid, his face still calm and cool. Well, orders were orders, weren't they? The agent took a step forward, his eyes set on Cameron as he merely perform a basic low kick with almost no effort at all. He took advantage of the soul's lack of energy, the kick going through Cameron's stance, hitting him hard enough on his lower calf to have one of his knees buckle, causing him to fall to the ground in a matter of seconds.

Cameron's nose crinkled. The agent saw through his bluff, it was easy to see given the expression on his face. Of course, Cameron wasn't expecting the person before the group to actually strike back, and this is where the problem arose. The agent stepped forward, and without seeming like he was doing anything at all, his leg randomly smashed into Cameron's lower right calf. The force of the kick caused Cameron's entire right leg to actually smack into his left one at the kneecaps, and Cameron's body took a tumble to the right, his shoulder hitting the ground first.

Breathing heavily, Cameron stood down on the ground. There was no point getting up; aside from the fact that he probably couldn't pull himself up. The young man just continued breathing heavily, shutting his eyes and rolling onto his back from his side. He let his head fall back to the grass, feeling a ridiculous amount of pain eminate from his right calf and both of his knees. This was the first time that Cameron failed in a team situation, but the second time he failed PERIOD. The first time, he was killed. Now, the body belonging to the being whom originally killed him was probably going to do the same again. Well, that's at least how he felt.

No powers. No strength. No will. Cameron's jaw clenched, his teeth violently, his top row of shiners chomping down on his bottom and holding the grooves within their grasp, scraping occasionally. He wasn't sure what to do next; if his team didn't step up, they would all die - and it would be his fault. He just wanted to fight... All he wanted to do was get up and fight. When Cameron opened his eyes, he did so to a sky that was more gray than bright.

Ben stepped up, and small thick wooded trees broke the concrete, shielding Cameron. She decided someone needed to fight this guy, so she ran forward, feigning a higher attack, but falling into a back bend and using the speed to send a leg up and into his jaw. She took no time to see if her attack was landed as she chagred and rammed her elbow into his sternum and thorny branches shot up at him from every direction. Yes she could fight and blood lust. Unfortunately it was in her genes, and while she preferred not to Cameron was first priority.

Julie had no time to react, unable to see any the agent's movement when he kicked Cameron. It was too quick and precise for his exhausted state to even fathom. It was only when he saw his friend hit the ground that his body started moving in to help. He didn't exactly have the time for strategic and tactical planning, Julie just charged in from behind while the man was focusing on Ben. He tried to bind the man's movement by melding some branches around his hands like cuffs, wrapping his arms around the agent's body at an attempt to clinch so the others can attack.

Chantal cried out to Cameron as he charged to the mysterious man in the suit. She knew he wasn't fit to and go attack someone and the action just made her utterly frustrated. As he ran towards the person, she tried to run behind him in a hope to stop him but as she saw the agent preform a low kick to the back of the pink soul's lower calf, she knew it was pretty much over.

She took advantage of Ben's attempt to hit him, causing a distraction, and ran to Cameron's side before the green soul created a shield around him. As he rolled to his back, she saw the frustrated look on his face – that all he wanted to do was protected the group and her included. However, it was needless to say he had failed. She knelt beside him as Julie went to try and attack the agent from the back. Her own frustration, plus slight fear, caused tears to form from her eyes and gradually rolled down her cheeks.

Chantal looked at him, checking to see how much damage was done before averting her attention back to his face. His own eyes were opened now, glancing upward at the sky. She placed both of her hands onto the side of his face, moving his head to make him look at her. She sniffed and gave him a sad smile. “You've done enough,” she said, her voice cracking a bit. “Let us be the ones to protect you this time.” She bent forward enough to place a kiss on his lips before looking up at the agent again to figure out a way to join into the fray.

Honesty just so happened to be standing a few bit behind the crowd of souls watching the scene unfold. He watched Cam first jolt off towards the agent with heightened speeds. Then witnessed Cameron attempting to attack the He-Man in a suit and failing horribly shortly after. This vibe came off the male when he so gracefully avoided Cameron's swung foot as if he knew exactly how the pink soul was going to attack, giving the impression that the mysterious male did not seem like someone who could be easily taken down with just a few successfully landed attacks. The blue soul's hands leaned towards the direction of his thick book bag as soon as Cameron crumbled to the floor in a weak heap.

When he was doing this, instead of just reaching helplessly for the tattered bag and not getting anything useful liquid to aid him, he hurriedly slipped off his bag and crouched down, eyes watching as Ben did some crazy double kick he had no time to register. His focus was on something else. His right hand rummaged through the bag, diving so that his fingers touched the stash of water bottles they got from the musky gas station. He wrenched the bottle from it's confinement, quickly undoing the cap with a harsh tug, popping it off in no time as the blue soul meant serious business.

As soon as the swimmer had the bottle in his right hand, he took a swift step forward with his leg foot and used his right foot to slide the opened back pack across the grass. Rolling out came about three water bottles he stuffed into the bag. Now was the time his brain decide to go 'now what', and not know exactly what to do. But he kept at ready, pouring out the bottle's liquid content onto the floor. As he poured, the water formed a base and filled up like it was in a pillar of some sort. Honesty raised his hand, then gripped, pulling his hand forward as an obscene amount of water sprouted from the violently trembling plants. They twisted and wilted, their color fading into a sandy brown as he added the collection into it's ever growing pillar of h2o.

Valentina watched as her friends begin to attack the man. She look before seeing Honesty pillar of water, she didn't know what he was doing but she added some electricity to it some it would pack a harder punch.

Agent

After causing the pink soul to fall to the ground, the agent noticed the girl whom stood beside him earlier run towards him from the corner of this eye. He pivoted his body slightly to stand on his back leg and she came towards him with another kick in hope to hit him in the jaw. Did these kids only know how to kick or something?

He then took a step back to slightly avoid her attack and swiftly pulled a hand out of his pocket to catch her foot before it could collide with his chin. He adjusted her into somewhat of a handstand before he kicked her in the back of the head with blunt force for good measure, repelling her back with a firm push before she could do anything else. With his hand still extended, branches circled his arm and he could only speculate that the source of them were coming from behind. He took a small step forward to get momentum in order to bring his other leg up fluently, swinging it back to kick the other soul in the face reversely, disrupting any means of attack he had in stored.

By doing the movement, the agent broke free from the branches that clasped around his arm as if they were nothing. He remained balanced on his other leg for a while before setting his risen one down, slipping his hand back into pocket. His facial expression reminded calm and collected during the whole ordeal and he slumped over a bit. All he could think about at the moment was how he was going to report this in? Coming back empty handed wasn't going to pretty once he reached headquarters and he really wasn't looking forward to getting scolded like some kid.

Man. Why did he become an agent again?

His eyes widened when Chantal kissed him. No. She couldn't fight, not without him. What could Cameron possibly do to get out of this mess? He wanted to scream to her, grab her, stop her from fighting the person who had just downed him with a single kick. The inability to act, as much as he hated it from the get-go, was rearing it's ugly face right into his business. Turning his head slightly, he dry-heaved a bit. As an end result, he parted his lips as wide as he could and a small amount of bile crawled it's way from the inner-depths of his stomach to the floor beside him, but nothing else. He hadn't drank anything throughout the day, nor had he ate. All that he had left in him was stomach acid.

Pink hues continued watching as the fight ensued, but every couple of seconds he would switch his focus back to Chantal, to see what she was doing. Everyone was mercilessly getting their asses handed to them; Ben and Julie were next to feel the agent's wrath, after both ended up with bunk offensive attempts. Was this where the group was destined to be taken out? What could Cameron do to get his ass up and get back into the fight?

The answer was nothing. As far as he was concerned, Cameron was fucked.

"Chantal, PLEASE. GET AWAY FROM HIM AND RUN!"
