Smoke billowed from his nostrils while he exhaled it from his mouth. Resting his head against the wall immediately behind him, Cameron closed his eyes after readjusting Chantal's body so that she would be a bit more comfortable. When she woke up, she was in for a bit of a surprise. Despite the fact that the place they were in was completely abandoned and in horrible condition, she wasn't home. Cameron knew she wanted to be, but it wasn't an option. The others walked off, and Cameron let them. He'd catch up with Julie later, preferably alone so that they could discuss their options on a serious note. The entire time he was smoking it, he didn't use his hands to grasp his cigarette. When it was down to it's last few drags, he spit it out on the concrete floor alongside them and let it burn out. There was no reason to remove his grasp around Chantal, he didn't want to.
While he was sitting there, he pondered a couple of things. One, who was next to come looking for them? The government's SEP soldiers weren't doing their jobs efficiently. They were being bested by a couple of kids, and with Cameron's face undoubtedly home to various internet websites and media outlets, the government was probably only going to step their game up. Honestly, he welcomed it; he was willing to face anything the government threw at him, even if he was killed fighting, it was all worth it for freedom.
