Fantasy Soul Secrets

Ben looked at them, shaking her head. "thither was blood.... I think.. um.." She stuttered, hands shaking. "Im scared.. what if it was SEP? what if they were already searching for us and caught an innocent worker?!" She asked, close to hysterics.

Honesty followed out behind them calmly, looking behind himself for a moment and making absolute sure. He listened to Ben, putting down his loot. "Ben..." He mumbled, covering her eyes for a moment. "Close your eyes and breathe... Breathe." She was becoming almost delusional, this was obviously taking a toll on her. Even him too. He hasn't been much of himself to himself, to them however, he's been 'just fine.'

She wraps her arms around Ben and rocks slowly. "Shhh, shh it's ok, it probably wasn't SEP, in fact I'm 99.9% percent sure it wasn't them ok." She strokes her hair. "Here, calm down" she hands her a little kiss. "Let's just keep walking now."

Julie grabbed Ben by the shoulder more suddenly than her comfort,"Something happen?" He looked at Valentina with his eye raised. He didn't realize how red he is post-tears but he overall had a composed face right now, not wanting to worry them. He shifted to attention inside the gas station to see what the rest were doing trough the windows.

Ben lowered her head and tried to breathed, leaning into her friends embrace. "I thought I w-was safe f-for just a second.." her breathes were quick and like a scared rabbit. "he cant kill me.. they cant find any of you.." She flinched at Julies touch and moved away. a tear ran down her cheek and she hugged Valentina.

"No, she just saw some remnants of old crime, she just on edge,we all are. Julie I really think we need to rest soon and not just for a day but like I don't know enough." She pleads to him and continues to rock Ben.

Honesty picked up his things, nodding with Tina. He pet Ben on the head. "We should stay out of there unless we really need something important. Besides that, avoid being in there too long... I don't have a good feeling about that place." He said, frowning at the darkness looming about. He took a small step back.

Travis was stuffing himself with a fruit pastry and swallowed it with a bottle of water. His backpack was filled with food and bottled waters, though he had to leave most of his books that were currently useless at the moment. He suddenly looked confused as Ben saw something and ran outside. "Di sumthing haappend??" He asked. Curious, he checked out what caused her to act like that. As soon as he saw "it", his eyes widened before he started coughing from the food. He quickly downed the food with water before he supported himself from the shelf of the other side. He too left the place quickly.

"I guess we'll camp tonight. Never been camping myself but now is a good time as any to start." She gives a weak laugh and looks at the others.

This was a lot for Julie to take in, he was as lost as they were. The nearest town he knew was the place where he disposed of the vehicle. It was mostly dead but there were a people, he saw. If the S.E.P came they could handle it later, the most important thing was finding shelter."Can you guys still move? There's a small town down ahead.." He told them. It was only a couple of miles.

Ben let go of Valentina and started walking in the towns direction. Her breathing was nolonger at hyperventilation but tears still ran down her cheeks. She dropped her head and let bangs fall over her face. "I-yeah.. so-sorry...lets hurry before its dark." She answered, unable to get what she saw out of her head. Ben had no idea what came over her but she felt like a part of her mind was breaking off.

She jogs to keep up. Valentina didn't really know what was happening to her little group of friends but as things are now, they were falling apart. She felt tears and she let them fall ,better it out now then in a display of electricity and death.

Julie watched Ben with concerned eyes, getting to town was definitely the most important thing right now. Shelter would give Ben a sense of security that she needed after being traumatized from that incident."Hey, you shouldn't cover your face like that. Have a drink." Julie reached out a water bottle to her, he could tell she needed it right now. He wiped her tear with his thumb before telling everyone,"We'll make it through this. I promise." His words sounded sincere, because he meant it with all his heart.

Honesty smiled weakly, looking away a little. His eyes were dry. His eyes fell as he began walking and eating. He didn't like to cry in front of others, since he was the one to stay positive and stay strong. So... He didn't. "C'mon, bae." He mumbled, walking next to Valentina and wrapping his arm around her shoulder, patting and holding her securely. He hadn't let this hit him hard enough. He'll hold it off, for now. "Let it out..."

Ben looked up from her bangs, streaks of pink marking saline trails. She took the water and made very little signs of rejection to the tear being wiped away. She was more resentful of it being there than of Julie acknowledging it. He was too kind to be resentful towards in any way. She tried to say thank you but her head felt just a little too hollow so she settled on nodding at his encouraging words and taking a little water. A nights rest was all she needed, hopefully. peeking under her blond curtain, she realized its what everyone needed.

A couple minutes passed and she whispered "we're o-okay.. right Tina?" an attempt of a smile showing for her friend.

She wiped her eyes and give a bright smile. "Yeah Ben, we're all right, the kids are all right. And if we stick together, I know we'll survive and even change the world." She grins and makes a small electric dragon with flow between then all making everyone hair stick up.

Julie walked on ahead, since he knows the way to the town. He kept his head high to not worry the others as he lead them. It was fine to cry, but he didn't like it when people put themselves down."Stay strong guys, it will only get better if we move forward." He looked up at the vast sky that would symbolize their freedom.

Ben gave a short nod. Her brain returned to the events too often to count. Every time her eyes unfocused, blood. She tried to keep distracted and smile at the joyful and eccentric dragon of Valentinas. As her bangs stood straight up, the creased brows and red was obvious. She still watched. "Its cute.. julie look." She couldn't help but feel his melancholy as well. The whole feeling radiated despite faces painted on.

"Yes! Strong and rippling with exotic muscle!" Honesty said, his voice cheering up as the dragon make his hair all static. He flexed one of his arm proudly. "I'm kidding..." He said happily.

He looked over his shoulder to see the electric dragon, his jaw dropping. "Woah...are you doing that?" He looked back and forth at the dragon and Valentina, forgetting about everything negative that had happened."I didn't know you can manipulate electricity into a fixed form and move it like that. omg" He was like a kid who just saw the newest game, excitedly pointing at it.

Travis looked downcast, he absolutely had no idea why that thing was there, but it sorta reminded him of the cruel situation that they are in. Sure, they are capable of having a happy moment like from a little while ago, but that doesn't change that they are fugitives. He at least hoped that they will continue to have moments like back at the pond. Suddenly, a miniature dragon made of electricity passed him by the face. This made him smile at least, he didn't noticed that his hair was sticking out. He looked like a Super Saiyan.

She nods and shapes the dragon into a dragonfly that hover over Julie nose. She blushes. "Well Honesty you can let me go now, I'm better." Being in his arms made her feel tingly and she really didn't want to think why at all. "Onward to the new world!"

"If you say sooo~" Honesty said, laughing at her blush. He let her go. Hearing Julie he blinked. "Of course~ It's sort of easy." Although, Honesty would prefer saving his energy for some actual dangers.

Ben put a finger up to say stop and came to a dirt area. A small tree grew and developed with peaches. "I didn't get anything to eat.. any takers?" She wasn't hungry but at least this was free.

A new peach appeared from the tree which Julie plucked. He was starving but forgot all about it. "Mm...." he bit into it, he didn't tell anyone but it tasted like fried chicken, which he was craving. Is this a revolutionary way to eat healthy guilt food? Julie was taken by surprise when he bit into it, he almost cried after discovering that. To everyone else, it just looked like Julie really like his peaches, like reaaaaaallllly loves it.
