Time would slow for Ajax, his mind wavering as his body began to take matters into its own hands; shutting down whatever it deemed unnecessary in the moment in order to further increase his survivability by simply prioritizing only what was needed to prolong his life, even if only for a few moments longer. Dazed, flickering vision devoid of colour would reveal his limp and broken body being carried by Xander; the duo victorious against their most recent adversary; despite the current price they had to pay. Having the literal life squeezed out of him by that beast called Eldrith, it was a miracle that he was still aware of his surroundings, let alone able to comprehend what exactly was occurring all around him.
Slipping in and out of consciousness as his body was carried, Ajax's lulling head would slump over; double vision falling upon the visage of Athena and Bryn as they too fought their own foe. 'How fucking embarrassing...' thought Ajax, as he watched their fight progress; his vocal chords still suffering under the strain of his last attack. It would be a while before his voice would be back to normal... even if his body wasn't in this sorry state. He had simply forced himself to go above and beyond what they could handle and now it was time to suffer the consequences.
His situation would only grow all the more embarrassing as he watched Athena and Bryn acknowledge his sorry state, the blonde haired meister able to show concern for the wolfboy despite her current situation in combat. 'Don't fucking look at me... this is so humiliating!' raged the inner voice of Ajax who was unable to look away as Bryn approached.
If it wasn't already humiliating enough to be a broken mess and being carried like a princess in the hands of Xander, it was down right confidence shattering that his rival was now willing to weaken her position by allowing her partner to aid him... to envelop him in her armoured form. A tear born of his own frustration would find itself meandering the side of Ajax's face as he inwardly cursed his own weakness, his own frailty. Not only had he allowed himself to end up in such a sorry state against his own foe, he was now jeopardizing the position of others because of it.
