Ahri stared giggling. "No, no, no Mac!" As she was laughing she put her palms on Mac's cheeks. "You said something really kind and I appreciated it." She had stoped laughing and let go of his face. "It was a thank you smile."

Mac sat looking at the ground, face contracting in an unwanted smile. This is why he didn't like spending time with people. He always wanted to be nice to them, and then they often times returned the favor. He just didn't know how to react. He didn't want to repeat the same thing about her being the best meister. He'd essentially be saying she deserved the compliment because of the context of said compliment. Which was all very confusing in his mind.


Finally, he let something out, "Well, thanks. You're the first real friend I've had. I don't really think Black*Star would count."

"You're friends with Black*Star?!" Ahri asked, turning toward him. "The Black*Star?!" She put her hands on his shoulders and got really close to him. "You're friends with them?"

Mac backed away a little, "Uh, y-yeah. What's the big deal? I mean, Black*Star is my br… I mean… we've known each other for a while. That's all."
