  Early Life: Born on October 10th 1966, her father left her and her mother when she was five years old, and no siblings are mentioned; she does not come from a particularly wealthy family. She arrived in Manhattan on Wednesday, June 11, 1986, when she was approximately 21 years old, and was so poor when she first arrived that she would purchase Vogue instead of dinner.
  Education: Carrie attended the prestigious Ivy League University, Brown, in the 1980s and took summer classes at The New School.
  Career: Carrie writes a weekly column called "Sex and the City" for the The New York Star. The column focuses on her sexual escapades -- fictionalized -- and those of her close friends, as well as musings about the relationships between men and women, dating, and New York. It provides Carrie with a certain amount of recognition in the city, and she is often invited to events because of her small influencer status.
  
  Relationships
  Kurt Harrington: Carrie had an on-and-off relationship with Kurt Harrington at the ages of 26, 29, and 31. Over time, she ceased to feel any affection for him. After many years, she finally recognized him as a self-centered and withholding individual, and they stopped seeing each other.
  Other Romantic Interests: She has seen quite a few other men that she's given a chance, but in one way or another they never work out.
  Mr. Big: After first meeting on the street, Carrie and Big continuously ran into each other by accident in various spots across New York. He was always just out of each for Carrie, who still doesn't see herself as good enough to be with 'Mr. Big.' Despite her self-esteem issues, and what her friends say, Carrie believes she'll always have some unresolved feelings for him.
