Fantasy Silver Moon Pack

Alpha female of Red River; Exiting Camp; Worried

As her daughter tried to play the "Innocent pup" card, Keyara rolled her eyes and returned her look with pretty much what you would expect from any mother. As Aurora knew she wasn't getting any answers and went to go help Sparrow, Keyara new that was the last thing on her mind. As she announced a bit too loudly that she was going to collect blood moss then glanced back to her. As Keyara met the young she-wolf's gaze, her amber eyes casting a worried expression in reply. And if that mangy excuse for a leader they call Nightingale finds her, they wouldn't hesitate for bloodshed. Keyara, then stood and raced after her pup. Following her scent as it left camp, it soon lead to the riverbanks where Nightingale's fur was found. Snarling to herself and flattening her pointed ears to her skull, she picked up the pace a bit. Though Aurora had pulled stunts like this with lesser problems, but this could cost her life.

Red Rivers, Cub

Crossing the river.

As the sun began its steady climb to its peak in the pale blue sky, its warm rays slipping through the leafy canopy above, Aurora found herself balanced precariously on a particularly small rock set in the centre of the river which bordered her pack’s territory. Around her, the hiss of the river’s swirling currents filled her ears, waves licking up from the turbid surface to splash her auburn coat in chilling drops.

Aurora, however, showed no interest in her dampening coat as she eyed the bank opposite her. Thick forest lay beyond its thin shore, cast in shifting dapple light. An area filled with the unexplored and the adventures she had dreamt of, while nestled between her mother’s forepaws, all within her grasp, if she could just work up the will to make the jump. Yet, in spite of these promises and her nagging curiosity which chattered at the back of her skull, her paws remained glued to the cold rock which held her above the murky depths below.

It had not been the first time she had played along these boundaries, physical and metaphorical, toying with imagery journeys across the river, but actually crossing it... No, that was a completely different story all together.

Ahead, rising above the river’s babbling clamour, the thunderous growls of clashing wolves reverberated. Aurora knew that her father had crossed, along with Reaper and therefore one of them was the cause of these terrifying sounds, but what was at the other end of their threats? To this day, Aurora had never seen a Silver Moon wolf, but she had heard stories alright. Alarming tales of she-wolves bigger than Reaper and her father, of scheming lairs who tricked innocent wolves into waiting jaws.

Was she ready to meet these fearsome creatures? Logic of course, said no. She was a cub, only just beginning to show the signs of adult portions, but curiosity? That called to the young cub.

It was here, that Aurora heard her mother’s paws coming up the bank. Narrowing her eyes a little, the cub twisted her head, her heart rate rising. If she was caught now, she would never be able to make that leap.

“Now or never.” She growled to herself, as she slowly crouched, wiggling slightly as she geared herself up for….

She jumped, soaring up through the air with a giddy bark of excitement. With a quiet splash, she hit the shallow waters on the other side of the river.

Alpha female of Red River; Crossing the River; Frantic

As she neared the riverbank and laid eyes on Aurora, relief swamped her. Yet, before she could yowl to her daughter to stay put, she leaped across the river and headed in the direction of clashing wolves. "AURORA" she roared as she neared the river bank. Slowing to a stop near the edge, fear pulsing through every inch of her body. If Nightingale saw her, there would be no second thought, no mercy. Taking a step back then launching herself across the river, her paws landing in more of the mid section due to her height. The shifting stones at the bottom and fast current knocked her off of her paws. Landing hard on her left flank with a splash, Keyara let out a yelp. Unable to find her footing in water that was just too deep for her, Keyara was swept downstream.

After finally getting washed up on the riverbank not to far downstream, Keyara dragged herself out the rest of the way. Her somewhat thin pelt soaked, chilling her weary self to the bone. Shaking herself dry, Keyara slowly stood upon sodden paws and resumed following her daughter, at a slower pace due to how disorientated the river had made her.

Behind the tall rock.

@Vulcan @Maria127

She wouldn't give him the satisfaction of causing her pain.

Her own blood caused her fur to clump together but if he bit her, she would slam his head against the rock hard. The more he came at her, the more she would direct his own power at him. "Your scent is new," she muttered, keeping herself low to the ground in order to move faster. "What are you? Some new hot shot Silver Moon took in?" Scoffing at the wolf, Petra could smell the Silver Moon alpha all over the other wolf as she too sunk her teeth deep into his neck.

Growling lowly behind his ear, Petra barely overheard the words of the other wolves behind the rock, too consumed in the fight for her life. She would either have to run or defeat this Silver Moon newcomer. Petra quickly let go of the other wolf's neck after grinding her teeth in. "Why are you fighting for them? Shouldn't you know how they hoard all the prey?" It was a rhetorical question but Petra was trying to buy herself time to figure out a plan.

Seeing as she was still in Silver Moon territory, Petra's best bet would be to run away and hope that she loses the other wolf. Quickly glancing behind the rock to see almost her entire pack confronting the Silver Moon pack, Petra decided that she would run back to their territory when given the right opportunity. If she was caught fighting, the blood could possibly start a brawl and fighting was something Petra preferred not to do.

The she-wolf snorted, and watched as Reaper took Argo back over the border. She then began to make her way down stream when he pale gaze rested on Keyara. Night growled loudly, baring her fangs. Why were so many Red River wolves in her territory, Night was about to confront the other she-wolf, when Night spotted Aurora. Keyara and Salem's pup. Night twitched her ears and stared at the small pup who stood on her territory. Night flicked her tail slightly and looked to Keyara.

The massive she-wolf looked down at the pup, whom she towered over greatly. Her icy white fur stained with Argo's and Reaper's blood, along with a few injuries on her shoulders. Night had no interest in harming a pup, as they were vital to a packs survival and were simply innocent. The young wolf was also supposed to be the next alpha female.

Night sighed heavily, before closing her mouth around Aurora's back gently, before lifting her off the ground and away from the water. Night's icy gaze bores into Keyara's. Night had the ability to snap the smaller pup's back with great ease, and to throw her in the river. Yet the she-wolf was tired, and didn't desire a fight. Or to kill an innocent pup, and its desperate mother.

Night approached Keyara with a serious, harsh stare. She stood in front of the rival alpha, her tail held high and her ears perked. She then dropped the pup. Letting the young wolf drop at her mothers paws. "
Take your pack, and leave." Night growled, she was tired of their rivals in their land now. Her tail twitched and the fur along her spine prickled slightly. This would be their first, and final warning.

Vulcan ignored her comments. He wasn't one to interact too much with his pack when he was still part of it. And no one wanted to play with him either. A born Omega. He was living more like a loner than a pack member. But Monika... she was different. She always sought him out and was always there for him when he needed her. They should have run away when they had the chance, hell, even start their own pack. When his bite landed on the she-wolf's shoulder, the immediately snapped out of those thought. This was no time to get lost into old memories, as tempting as it was. When his opponent sunk her own yaws into his neck, he tightened the muscles on his neck, protecting his throat and letting her bite into more fur and skin than flesh. At the same time, he pushed himself to the side, hoping to twist her neck and force her to let go. Eventually, he indeed released him. His own jaws on the other hand were a completely different matter. He tried to dig them deeper into her already wounded shoulder. If he succeeded to get a good grip on her, he would shake his head from left to right to dislocate or even shatter the shoulder blade, maiming her and hindering her from running away.

Still behind the rock, having a good time.

@Vulcan @Maria127

Petra bit back a yelp when the other wolf dug his teeth into her shoulder. She continued to tell herself not to give him the satisfaction of causing her pain and she couldn't alert her pack of her presence. She'd have to deal with this in a silent manner. Twisting herself once again, Petra used the wolf's grip on her shoulder to pull him down. She felt her muscles shriek in agony as she pulled them down the hill, away from the two packs.

With the other wolf being the slightly bigger one of the two, Petra pushed him on the ground as they tumbled, making him take most of the impact and force. As soon as Petra regained proper balance to get on her paws, she grabbed the wolf at the neck and threw him away from her. In the process of doing so, he took a chunk out of Petra's shoulder. Using this brief moment to her advantage, Petra pushed off in the direction of the Red River camp, limping on her right front leg as she did so.

There was a chance that the wolf would follow her but at the same time, there was a chance that he would give up on chasing her and go back to his so called pack. Whatever he did, Petra would have to deal with the consequences.

Because of his locked jaws around the flesh and bone, the other wolf managed to pull him downwards, even though he had dug his hind legs into the ground to prevent exactly that. Gravity was stronger than him and the ground, which consisted mainly of fallen leaves and small branches couldn't hold him for any longer. A least they would soften the fall. He stumbled forwards and they rolled down the hill. Vulcan felt lucky that the smaller one had either been too weak or too uncertain in her actions to decide and bite into his neck artery and kill him there and then while he was vulnerable and his neck was exposed in a way. He spat the fur and blood clots out of his bloodied mouth and stood up, watching her limp back toward her own pack territory. "You asked me who I was." he barked after her and stood tall, his tail raised in a dominant matter, even though she was presenting only her back to him and probably didn't bother to turn around. He could easily leap on top of her now, push her onto the ground and break her neck with a single accurate bite. But he wouldn't. The fight was over. No casualties were made from the looks of it but they had left Red River pack a message, which was more than sufficient for the time being. "Well, make sure to tell Selem and that wh*re of his, Keyara, that I'm coming for them both. They'll know." he growled in a deep threatening tone and turned around to go and return to his own pack. He restrained himself from spitting to the side at the mentioning of their names. He hadn't made attempts to remember any of the other pack member's names but those two had sealed themselves in his memory. And how couldn't they. They were the merciless killers that took his love away from him. Oh, he would show them the true meaning of merciless. His yellow eyes sparked as he thought this.

@Sen Pai

Meandering, Ullr accidentally stepped into the Silver Moon pack's territory. He was alone, quite honestly a little scared and confused, but he knew packs wouldn't respect a wolf like that. Despite this, he kept his head low as he, unknowingly, padded deeper into the pack's territory. He sighed slightly; he didn't mind being alone at all, but it was always safer to have a pack to protect him.

He growled hungrily, he hadn't had a decent meal in days, maybe there would be food nearby. A lovely deer, he thought, something to hunt. Growling again, he shook off his pelt as he felt a slight chill run through his bones. Something told him he shouldn't be here, his instincts said otherwise, There's food here, they said, something nearby is edible.

Hunter; Red River, Red River's Forest

Argo looked up at Reaper with sullen eyes as he motioned for her to follow him back across the border. She was silent the entire trip, well aware that her actions got her these injuries, and possibly his as well. You're always there when I need you, and when I don't, Reaper, Argo thought, glancing up at the hulking frame that walked beside her. As they approached the river, Argo attempted to jump across in one graceful leap, but only ended up stopping just short has she had to hoist her self up on the other bank, after taking a dip in the frigid water. Not looking back to see if Reaper had jumped across yet, Argo continued walking to their camp, head down, tail between her legs, and silent. She wasn't looking forward to the scolding she'd get from about pretty much every higher up wolf at camp.

Red River, Alpha Male

Silver moon forest/ Red River Pack grounds.

Salem who watched Eclipse for a moment as he then perked his ears, his nose had caught the scent of Aurora. He didn't speak another word to the Beta male as he took off through the enemy territory. A small clearing was approaching as he brushed past many bushes an tree trunks. Leaping out into the clearing, Salem conveniently landed right in between the enemy Alpha and his mate and pup, his eyes first looked to Aurora, making sure no harm was done to her, then he shot daggers at Nightingale "You.. You cannot simply speak and avoid conflict?" Salem was a raging ball of fire as he stood tall, just towering over Night slightly as he perked his ears and lifted his tail, it curled toward his back, Salem had much more he wanted to say to this reckless she-wolf however he didn't want another fight, so he looked down to his pup and then to his mate "Let's go home" He didn't avert his eyes for to long as he still didn't trust Nightingale. As he motioned to head back he lifted his maw to the sky, howling out a call to tell any other pack members to head back to camp.

@Cyber Wolf

Ullr heard the howl and was almost immediately filled with dread and fear; he had trespassed on a pack's territory. He was way in the wrong here and he turned around to head back the way he had came. He stopped before he started walking, maybe he could find a meal here regardless. I'd have to bargain something, but it could be possible, he thought to himself. Turning, Ullr started heading deeper into the pack's territory, trying to find a camp or den where the alpha or any of the pack may stay so he could talk to someone. He shook off his white fur that seemed to almost gleam in the light; he didn't mind this, at the moment he wanted to be found. In response to the howl, he also howled, hoping to attract a little bit of attention from the pack.

Alpha female; Near the river; Content

Night didn't flinch nor cower in the sight of Salem. She then chuckled lightly, a cold and threatening sound given the situation. "I can at times, times when it involves the innocent. Be grateful only a few of your wolves came out with nonthreatening injuries, and that you still have that pup." Night spat with venom laced in her words, her lips twitching to reveal her ivory colored fangs. She then sat on her haunches calmly, and watched the trio begin to leave, curling her tail around her hind legs pleased with herself. She had no fear for this pack of thieves. She kept her body tall and her paws planted firmly side by side. Ears perked forward, and tail twitching a few times. That pup is more than lucky that i respect her parents enough to spare her life. Night thought bitterly. Yet that pup i rescued earlier gets to be the next alpha male.. I'll never let that pup to be weak. If Red River pack is still around at that time, and still considered rivals, Adder shall be their greatest fear.Night then heard howl erupt from her camp. She twitched her ears slightly, before pacing down the river quickly, finding Eclipse. "An unknown how that sounded like it came from camp. I need you to proceed and find that wolf." She ordered.

He followed Argo closely, inspecting her wounds from a distance. "Sparrow is going to be mad, yet I'm sure Salem will be livid with you. Hopefully he won't demote you." Reaper spoke rather gently, as if he knew he was treading on thin ice. "I'll spare you a lecture. I'm just glad your safe now." He kept his different colored gaze forward as they approached camp. His long tail swishing behind him slightly, before he ran it over Argo's back gently. In a comforting manner.

Red Rivers, Cub

Back across the river.

Aurora had wiggled furiously as the gigantic white wolf had lifted her in jaws, her teeth cutting through her thick coat to grate against the tender skin below like there was nothing but air between them. However, no harm came, no pain shrieking down her nerves. Instead she was dropped at her mother’s sodden feet. At this, the cub felt both relief and dread. Not only had she been caught by the enemy, she had also been found by her mother.

However, she did not get to linger on this thought for long before the white-she wolf spoke again. Her cold eyes stared at them both, Aurora surprised that the she-wolf was even capable to showing some hint of soul beneath that deathly blue. Not only this, but raising disgust grew in the small cub’s mind as her contrastingly warm eyes brushed over the white coat and muzzle where red stained the purity. This red however, was not like her’s or her father’s, which was passed down through generations. Instead, this red was the sign of violence, of blood.

About to curl back her lip in answer to the demanding she-wolf however, a sudden burst of colour landed between Keyara and Aurora. Equalling the she-wolf’s size, if not only just beating it, Salem stood before his family like a fiery sentential, head and tail high as he addressed the other alpha in low tones of repugnance.

However, the exchange soon ended and Aurora got up and looked up at her mother with a fearful expression. She was soaking and Aurora had the sneaking suspicion she was in for way more than just a simple ‘don’t do that again’ talk. No, she figured by the way her dad was acting, combined with her mother’s coat that she would be lucky to even see sky again before she had turned a year old.

Annoyed as they began their retreat, Aurora fought back the urge to shout what she thought of Nightingale. The she-wolf was everything the stories had depicted her to be and worse, but now Aurora was not afraid. Prey thieves were nothing and with that thought, she held her tongue. Why waste her breath.

Glancing up at her dad, she nodded to her mother. “I think mother needs help. I’ll sort myself out.” She offered here, with a wolfish grin, before quickly trotting over to her rock and making a rather ungraceful leap, she began her way across the river back to home territory and away from the promised adventures.

Silver Moon, Beta female

Stranger Wolf

Saoirse watched as Nightingale released the brute and flung him away, like a freshly chewed bone, before he at last conceded defeat and retreated beyond their sight. Thankfully, Night had followed to make sure they left her land, before Salem howls sounded once more, calling those out to return home. Letting out a shaky breath, Saoirse shuddered to think what might have happened if tempers in the fight had continued to swell, would Night have actually killed the two wolves? The she-wolf who had started this would most certainly never look the same again, but despite her disapproval, perhaps Night was right to act in such away. Any less, as the Red River pack would think it nothing to steal their prey and that would cost the Silver Moons dearly.

For a moment, the she-wolf remained still, waiting to see if Night would return to scold her. After all, she had spoken out of terms before and there were bound to be repercussions, but when the alpha did not return immediately Saoirse turned and moved towards the other, new howl which came from their northern borders near the den.

“Today is most certainly a busy day.” Saoirse grumbled, as her fleet paws picked up speed, propelling her as silently as possible through the thick under growth. During this time period however, Saoirse felt the tension she had been carrying with her melt off her muscles, as once more the rhythmical beat of her light paws drumming at the ground freed her mind. She revealed in this sensation, as the breeze created by her running, ruffled invisible fingers through her pale silvery coat welcomingly. In these fleeting moments, Saoirse was at her happiest, free from nagging mind and the pressures of her position, but these moments were cursed to run short. Being one of the fastest in the pack, she could never run to her hearts content unless it was her evenings run.

At this thought, Saoirse skidded to a halt before the source of the mystery howl, and with something between a sigh and a tired snarl, the she-wolf fixed her soft gaze onto the wolf in front of her. He was white, like Fenris and Night and reasonably large for a lone wolf, his light coat almost glowing against the dark greenery around him.

“Not many wolves would announce the fact they are trespassing.” Saoirse began, with a hint of a laugh lifting her silky voice slightly, still giddy from the run. “At this point, I’m trying to figure out if you’re either brave or simply stupid.” She stopped, letting her head fall to one side as she inspected the new comer, before shrugging. “So which one will it be?”

Vulcan was standing in around the middle of the scene where the fight had began and where it had ended. There were blood stains on the ground, whole small puddles even. Flies and other insects were already gathering around these stains and the corpse of that damn mongoose that started it all. The bitter sweet smell of the crimson life liquid entered his nostrils and made him let out a small snort to clean his nose from the smell. He was about to go and look for their Alpha as suddenly he heard a howl, followed by another. He lifted up his head, his ears twitching in both directions like antennas to identify the source and meaning of those sounds. He didn't know the one coming from their pack grounds but he surely recognized that other one coming from the river. It was Salem, retrieving and calling on his pack members to do the same. The sound of it hadn't changed. Not one bit. It was the same deep, raspy howl he despised. Vulcan spun around and trotted in that direction. They weren't going to fight today. The time hadn't come yet. They all needed to prepare. Today an accident brought them to this place, the next time it would be fully intentional. He reached the river bank when the two alphas and some pup, probably theirs, were returning to their side of the river along with some other pack members in the distance. He growled in disgust and anger, then when he looked towards his own leader, he calmed down once again. She was sitting there, watching them go with satisfaction and pride written all over her. And she had good reason for it. They had won a battle today but the war had just begun. But still, she had taken some damage as well. The blood that stained her purely white beautiful coat belonged not only to her opponents but also to herself. Some deep and smaller wounds covered her torso. He approached her and lowered his head in a respectful manner, not wanting to interrupt but feeling the need to. "I'm sorry to interrupt but I do believe you should seek out our healer as soon as possible." he suggested calmly for her to return to her own pack and duties. They all had wounds to lick and with that new howl they had heard a minute ago, it looked like the day was far from over.

Ullr glanced at the wolf and almost smiled to himself, At least someone was near by. He turned to face her, lowering his head courteously, "I don't think I'm either of those, sometimes brave is stupid and sometimes stupid is brave. At the moment I don't think I'm either." He grinned slightly, "At the very least I hope I'm not stupid." Ullr kept his head bowed, "My apologies for trespassing; my name is Ullr." He raised his head, but kept his gaze averted, he knew this was her land and he thought he had to show respect. Right, just keep this up, you might get fed tonight.

He spoke again, looking at the wolf in front of him, "May I ask your name?"

Male Delta; Silver Moon, Silver Moon's Camp

Eclipse stood there silently as he watched the male alpha trot past him without saying another word, sniffing the air as he soon ran out of sight, sending small critters scuttling away. Sighing, Eclipse hoped that what he told the alpha hadn't gone through one ear and out the other. Despite getting no response from Salem, he was perfectly content with the fact that he now knew exactly what gave the little runt from Red River the idea to try to steal prey from their side. They must've thought Nightingale's fur caught on the river showed that they had trespassed the boundaries that separated the two factions.

After a few more moments of further thinking, Eclipse turned his gaze towards the noisy river and saw the young wolf and the other black one swimming across, noticing the gruesome wounds inflicted by Nightingale on to both of the wolves. Wincing, he turned his direction back towards camp where everyone was probably heading back to now. Mentally noting that he would talk to Nightingale later about what Salem had said to him, he began to slowly walk back to camp, looking up at the slowly dimming sky.
If only they had talked it out with words and educated their young ones, he thought, shaking his head as his paws softly struck the padded earth, trampling small vegetation as he continued under the canopy of the rain forest.

Alpha female of Red River; River bank; Desperate

Keyara finally had caught up with Aurora when she stopped cold. Her muzzle twisted into a snarl as she saw Nightingale standing over her daughter. Yet as she picked up the young wolf in her jaws, Keyara went cold. She could easily kill her right here, and not to mention Keyara had a severe disadvantage against the larger she-wolf. As Aurora was laid at her soaking paws and Nightingale towered over her, Keyara started up at the large wolf. Her eyes holding a fierce determination, yet that only masked the fear she currently felt not only for her daughter, but for herself as well. Keyara remained silent as Salem stepped in between them, her mate could easily take the mutt if she so even moved a muscle. Yet, after words were exchanged and Salem ordered them to return home, she agreed gratefully.

As they turned back towards the river, Aurora mentioned her needing help. Keyara quickly shot her an angered yet thankful look, she wasn't about to get lost in the currents again.

Mercy watched in slight disbelief as two rival wolves found her and a battle began between them began. She watched and backed away at the same time. They seemed to know each other but the male seemed extremely aggressive to the pack female. She just watched and listened as she took a defensive stance, she wanted to help but she had her pups to look out for. She glanced between the two and ultimately decided not to intervene.

She watched as they tumbled down a hill and wondered if the female was okay. When the female wolf had gotten up she let her limp past her. She could already tell that this fight was not what she wanted to happen and that she only attacked in self-defence. After the fight was over she climbed onto the tall rock and watched as the male wolf left. Macey remained quiet a cautious she did not want any other wolves to attack her.

When she was sure that they were gone she would sneak back to her den behind the waterfall to check on her pups. She would sniff them and the surrounding area and they would whine for some food.

Silver Moon, Beta female

North of the den.

Curling her tail about her, the pale wolf allowed a grin to wrinkle her muzzle as she studied the white wolf before her. His body language was kept subtle, his head and tail low with his averted at all times. In fact, he had yet to even look at the she-wolf despite her studying him so thoroughly. When answering, even his voice was held in a soft tone, suggesting to Saoirse that despite the male announcing his presence within a stranger wolf’s territory, he was no fool. Everything about him showed a submissive stance in spite of his clear advantage in pure muscle mass and size.

“Perhaps you aren’t as stupid as I thought.” Saoirse’s reply coming in her gentle, easy laugh, as watched with her startling grey eyes, her silver fur slightly rise as it was plucked at by the breeze. “I’m Saoirse, and you, have wandered into the Silver Moon pack. A risk not many wolves would take with our alpha’s reputation.” Here, however, Saoirse sighed, images of the young Red River wolf limping away, her ear shredded as blood slipped over her fur. Forcing these images back, with an enormous sense of guilt, Saoirse continued to study the male in front of her. “So what might I call you? Fool does seem like an adequate option anymore. If you did not come here as an act of bravery or stupidity, so is it perhaps hunger?” Here she once again paused. Their hunting ground was rich, but the subject of hunger had become testy subject since the early fight.

Ullr kept his head low and almost allowed himself a grin, but he held it back; maybe he would get food after all. Don't get too hopeful yet, he thought, Play your cards right. He'd heard of the Silver Moon pack before, he hadn't of their reputation. He nodded slightly, "Well I'm glad I don't look like an idiot," he allowed himself a slight chuckle. Ullr raised his head slowly, but averted eye contact as not to aggravate the wolf in front of him, "My name is Ullr, I've been wandering the wilderness for..." he paused, "I don't know how long. I have no pack," he added quickly, just to assure her he was alone, "And you would be correct, I haven't had a proper meal in a long time." He sighed, hoping the story would appeal.

Silver Moon, Beta female

Saoirse nodded, before standing, her eyes never leaving the wolf before her as she raised her fur. She needed to keep on her guard and at least attempt to look larger. Despite the wolf’s apparent honest answer, Saoirse was not ready to fully let her guard down, at any moment the wolf’s soft demur could change and with her only defence being speed and brains, she wouldn’t stand a chance if caught off guard.

“Alright, Ullr.” She replied, bowing her head slightly. “But I cannot not promise you anything. We have plenty of food, but from this morning I do not know if my alpha will be in the mood to entertain.” With this, Saoirse pulled back her head, parting her jaws to let out a loud a howl, her low soft voice rising to resonate in the quiet air around them. “Lone wolf found. Submissive. Permission to bring back to den for further council?”

When she was done, she looked back at the male. They would wait now, until Saoirse heard from the others. Under normal circumstances she would have simply told Ullr to follow, but today was no means a normal day, if anything it had marked to beginnings of a downward slope between both the Silver Moons and the Red Rivers.

Ullr nodded almost eagerly before he started glancing around, almost forgetting himself. The prospect of a good meal was exciting to him and he grinned to himself, I think I did well. He felt proud of himself and after a moment he looked at Saoirse and he remembered his courtesy, bowing his head, "Thank you for this. I promise, you won't regret this. If there's anything I can do to repay this kindness, just say."

This offer was nothing personal, it was just something he'd remembered; the more submissive he seemed, the more likely he was to get food. Of course he repaid his debts, he always remembered to, Wolves are honourable. They should repay their debts. It's something he lived by.

Male Beta; Silver Moon, Silver Moon's Forest

Eclipse perked up his ears as he heard a howl some distance away that was Saoirse's. After listening to what she communicated, he let out a very deep sigh. Just when he had thought that he would be able to rest... This happened, and this only added to the already far too eventful day. Changing his direction once more to where the source of the howl came from, Eclipse broke into a full sprint as he tried to get there as fast as possible. The less time it would take to deal with this lone wolf, the more time he would have to relax. First Vulcan and now this wolf, just how many loners were there looking to join Silver Moon, Eclipse wondered to himself. He continued his sprint through the forest, his black and white coat looking like an eclipse, how ironic his name was. It was as if he was a phantom as he continued to navigate to Saoirse, making minimal noise as his fur rustled to the welcoming breeze of the soon to be evening.

Eclipse gradually slowed his pace as he neared two wolves talking, attempting to get a good look at the lone wolf before he revealed himself. He had a decently clean white coat, average size and didn't look too intimidating. Letting out a sigh of relief, he silently trotted towards Saoirse and the white wolf. "So, another lone wolf?" he said, unable to hide the slight annoyance that had crawled onto his features. He hoped that this wolf would be as, if not more, interesting than Vulcan. Let's see what he has to offer...

Ullr looked at the new comer, not meeting eye contact. He lowered his head again, bowing it slightly, curtly, but not answering at first. He thought that the question had been directed at Saoirse and merely waited for her to answer. More wolves, he almost rolled his eyes, Why don't they bring the whole pack here to judge me? Ullr knew about pack behaviour, especially in a situation like this. He knew he was still in the wrong and honestly didn't want to provoke the wrong people. Not yet at the very least.
