Fantasy Silver Moon Pack

Aurora,

Red River cub,

Den clearing.

Swallowing her pride, Aurora looked up at Salem with a sheepish grin before touching her nose to the alpha’s cheek, her breath temporarily knocked out of her.

“I guess, shouting surprise is not an option anymore?” She offered, slightly panting as she struggled to regain her breath and failing to keep the disappointment from her voice as she stepped back from her father. Despite not admitting it, Aurora was glad he had stayed still to catch her like a soft, but solid safety wall. Something she would choose any day over the warm, but deceptively hard ground which lay at her feet...not that the added dirt to her already coated fur would make much of a difference. Aurora was fairly certain there was woodlouse somewhere in her coat, but she tried to ignore that snippet of information as best she could. The brief pout from her failed attempt at 'hunting' however, did not remain for long, soon being wiped away by jovial shrug, as the she-cub cocked her head to the side and studied her father.

“So, good morning! sleep well?” Aurora asked, before shyly glancing over her shoulder at the rest of the pack. Though it was stupid to hope, Aurora clung onto the small sliver of hope that perhaps not everyone in the pack had seen her shocking attempt at her hunting technique.

She had been sure she had copied Reaper’s technique perfectly, confident that not even a strand of fur had fallen out of sync with that she had branded into her memory. But alas, she had been wrong before and undoubtedly she would be wrong again, but practice makes perfect. Even if I am over half a year old Aurora thought bitterly to herself.

Sheila

Territory Outskirts ---> Den Clearing

@Cyber Wolf
@Lokipi

Sheila was never a morning wolf but he had to become a late night and early morning wolf. Having gotten up before the sun even rose, the hunting leader was careful not to wake his sister as he made his way out of his den and to the outskirts of the Red River camp. Albeit groggy, Sheila patrolled the perimeter of the camp, sniffing for a foreign smell; to be specific, the wolf was searching for the scent of a Silver Moon pest.

It was a sort of meditative routine for Sheila, something to give him peace of mind, knowing that he could smell if any of those
pestilences even approached the camp. When he finished going over for the third time, Sheila would head back to the den clearing and report if need be. Luckily, today was one of those days where Sheila could send Salem a quick nod of confirmation before laying down to bask in the morning sun.

Noting Argo's sulking behaviour and Reaper's usual graveness, Sheila held back a snort and easily put two and two together. "
You know, if you actually took your responsibilities seriously Reaper wouldn't have to tease you." Sheila laid on top of a rock, allowing the sunlight to warm up his fur. With his eyes half-closed, Sheila glanced over at the laying Argo, the wolf internally frowned and stared at the replenished kill pile.

He didn't know whether to be relieved or afraid of what's to come when prey becomes difficult for even Reaper to hunt. Sheila would be able to move the hunt to tomorrow, allowing the prey to relax and making them easier to hunt. Quickly, Sheila stood up and snatched a turkey before returning his rock and setting the carcass beside him. However, he did not finish it; the wolf took a few bites of the turkey but left most of the more tastier parts intact.

"
Argo, cancel today's hunt."

Petra

Inside her den ---> By the river.

"
You're disgusting." The female wolf growled as she did her best to shove all the excess dirt her brother brought into the den. Petra never enjoyed getting down and dirty, definitely not after she had lost sight in one of her eyes due to an infection. "I don't understand why I put up with this," she muttered under her breath. "Oh yeah, because he's the older one." Rolling her eyes, Petra continued to curse and mumble under her breath even as said brother passes by.

Having dealt with this topic almost every day with his sibling, Sheila didn't give Petra another glance as he
oh-so-elegantly collapsed in the den. "'M th' 'untin' lead'r," His slurred speech just barely makes it out of his mouth. "Don' I deserve to come bac' to a cle'n home?" With those words said, the Red River hunting leader spread out comfortably and tried to lull himself to sleep. Game was getting harder to track down with the Silver Moon pack having claimed territory in what was the Red River's promised land.

"
Not if you're the one dragging the dirt in!" Petra almost exploded with irritation. However, when she turned around to lecture her brother, she clenched her mouth shut when she saw the sleeping wolf. Petra sighed softly at the sight and shook her head. "You're a real simpleton sometimes..." Turning back around to clean up the den, Petra found herself feeling uneasy as the light of the moon illuminated the entrance of the den.

The next morning, Petra was half-asleep when Sheila left to patrol the perimeter as he usually did. What Sheila didn't know is that once he had finished, Petra would leave the camp in order to wander the forest and avoid her pack. Laying down by the river bank, Petra amused herself with the rushing waters of the river and trying to swat at the creatures that lived there. However, Petra knew that sooner or later she would have to leave her peaceful sanctuary and go back to her pack. Sheila would be waiting for her with some food.

"
Food that would have been finished by the rest of the pack..."

Delta male; Red River camp grounds.

The black brute was licking his bloody paws when he twitched his ears in a gentle greeting to the young alpha pup, before looking to watch Aurora being tricked by her father. Reaper perked his ears and watched as the young wolf crashed into her father's chest. Spotting her mistake immediately, yet Reaper decided to possibly tell her later, in fear of her father finding him disrespectful. Reaper was large and muscular compared to a regular forest wolf, Yet when compared to Salem he was a tad shorter and less muscular. Yet both males were indeed large in size.

The dark furred male made his way over to his alpha, before bowing his head slightly. "
Alpha." He began, before sitting down. "Hunting was a success, yet larger prey has began to become scarce in our area, especially around the river." He spoke through his fangs, and his muzzle twitched lightly in a snarl. If the prey is scarce near the river it meant that Silver moon may be trespassing and killing off their prey. While there is no proof, the pack had not hunted in the course of a few days due to their plentiful kill pile, meaning Silver Moon pack could have trespassed in that time, and had their scent washed away in the usual nighttime rain.

Healer; Red river camp grounds.

The young she-wolf remained on her usual basking rock, when her apprentice came and nipped her she simply used her tail and glided it down the young wolf's back gently. She nuzzled the pup gently and watched her run off to her father, the same father Sparrow has admired ever since she had truly gotten to know him. The fur along her chest began to prickle and fluff up as she remembered how the two used to be good friends, potentially more if Aurora hadn't been born. Yet Salem had chosen a worthy mate.. Sparrow was not as worthy.. She was more.. Well.. Just a healer

Alpha female; Silver moon pack's side of the river.

The alpha continued to look over Vulcan, He seemed strong and rather handsome. She twitched her ears, before looking to Eclipse and the small pup. She twitched her ears and nods, "Yes, Lets." She looks to Vulcan. "Come along, Vulcan. We shall decide your fate back at camp." She turns and carefully takes the pup from Eclipse, gesturing with her tail for them to follow as she hurries toward camp with the small bundle of fluff in her maw.

Vulcan - loner

Vulcan had soon noticed the other wolf approaching as well as he wasn't trying to hide from them or anything. Probably just checking on things, seeking out the reason for their leader's sudden disappearance. However, only his eyes moved in his direction, his head staying low in a respectful manner in front of the Alpha. Perhaps it wasn't exactly the way he had thought it would go but It had surely spared him a lot of awkwardness and the chance to get ripped apart. Although, if the Alpha was intending to rip him to shreds, then she would have done it already. Or given such orders. He really wasn't completely calm either as her opinion might easily be changed by some convincing and arguments about him from the other pack members, especially the Beta pair which had a great influence on the leader's decisions. Vulcan was still walking on a thin thread. Hearing her words to follow, he obeyed and calmly padded after her, keeping a distance of a couple of feet from her, not wanting to get into her personal space like he did in the river without even thinking it over. His head was a chaos but he tried not to show it on the outside. Showing weakness or doubt wasn't in his favor. It wasn't that he was so concerned about dying. Death was something inevitable, following every creature from the day of its birth. It was the fear of leaving this world while he still hadn't completed his task... his promise, that bothered him.

Saoirse

Silver Moon, beta female,

River/den middle section

Before Elixir could answer however, Saoirse came to a stop, her pale grey eyes staring unblinkingly toward the trio now coming towards them. The first was of course Nightingale, her snowy pelt easily distinguishable against the grey fur of Eclipse who followed, with something small and fuzzy hanging from his jaws. It was, however, the third figure which made Saoirse’s step fault mid-way, pushing the thought of the tiny creature the other beta carried out of her mind.

Her instinct, and responsibilities as a beta on seeing this strange form screamed for immediate protection, yet her mind over ruled both, a calm voice of reason washing over the already raw nerves in a soothing manner. It was this ability, which seen the she-wolf to her position in the pack and she was not going to disregarded it yet. Instead, she listened to logic, her eyes seeking for the answers before another could speak and fill in the gaps.

Elixirs body seemed tense, defensive wasn’t the right however, but Saoirse saw the quick sets and noted his discomfort. However, Night was the opposite, her head was high but her posture was completely relax, despite her fur being sodden. A detail, Saoirse noted, which their alpha shared with this new comer. The hulking, dark form was marred with scars but despite his raggedness, the wolf carried himself with a certain amount of fineness. His stiff movements however did portray a certain amount of nervousness, which Saoirse noted was a wise choice. After all, he was a strange wolf in a strong pack’s territory.

Deducting from the alpha’s body language that the new comer was not a threat, as of yet anyway, Saoirse stilled herself, allowing herself to relax just a fraction as she waited for the others to draw level. When close enough however, Saoirse filled in the remaining wolf’s strides between them and dipped her head to Eclipse before gently touching her nose to Night’s cheek.

“Alpha” Saoirse began, her low voice tumbling through the air softly, like dark silk. “What happened? One minute you were there, eating, and the next you had left. Is everything okay?” At this final sentence, she flicked her eyes towards the new, large male which shadowed the group. “We have a friend?” she asked, quizzically.

(Night had taken the pup from Eclipse)

Alpha female; Silver pack camp entrance.

The large she-wolf stopped by Saoirse, She laid the small black pup on the ground at her paws, who cried a soft protest. Night curled her tail around the pup to give him more warmth. "
I had an uneasy feeling of being watched, as did Eclipse." She glances to the Delta, and then back to the Saoirse. "That's when we came upon this one." She shifted her tail to show the young black pup, his eyes struggling to open.. So young he could walk, not at this time due to his current state. He was old enough to be eating soft meat and drinking milk. "He was drowning.. So i leaped in for him." She twitched her silky ears slightly. "That's when our stalker appeared. He helped me out of the river. His name is Vulcan." She looked to the dark male, her icy gaze not aggressive nor pleased. More emotionless. "I have brought him back to decide his fate, with the input of my deltas and of course, Elixir." She spoke softly, yet firmly.

The pup cries out again, soft yet getting stronger. He squirms and claws at Night's tail slightly. Some of the pack members stared in disbelief, an alpha had risked her life for an unknown pup, Whom was clearly a runt. They are stared disapprovingly at Vulcan, yet adverted their gaze if Night looked their way.

Noticing the looks he got from the Beta female and the rest of the pack, Vulcan's paws began to sweat, as well as his nose. His ears were getting warmer, his mouth filling with saliva. He was truly feeling uneasy as he seemed to be unaccepted here. And he couldn't accuse anyone of anything. First of all, he was a loner - a soggy, dirty and probably stinky one as well. On top of all, he had gained the title of stalker, which didn't make things any better for him, quite the contrary. But he had to stand his ground. There was no way out. His fate was in the ha... paws of the higher ups. He now wasn't looking anywhere particular, avoiding eye contact with any of the pack members surrounding them as this could potentially be taken as provocation. He was trying to not show how nervous he was either. His slightly shaking body from the short swim in the ice cold water probably helped him in a way to hide what was going on under his skin, on the inside. He was used to most of the kinks of mother nature already, having to sleep out in the open every single night as it was. His body was now simply trying to produce some body heat to warm him up. The humidity in the forest was so high at the moment that the three of them were literally steaming, the water evaporating from their skin and fur.

Eclipse

Delta Male; Silver Moon, Silver Moon Pack Entrance

Nodding back at Saoirse, his delta counter-part, Eclipse wondered what was going inside the head of Vulcan at the moment. That wolf must've known what he was getting himself into when he jumped into that river to help Nightingale and now his fate is in the hands of some wolves that he doesn't even know. Wondering if Vulcan was seeking after something specifically by putting on that brave act, Eclipse took a quick scan at the other pack members and noticed some of them were sneaking dirty looks at Vulcan, which made the situation all the more hostile and tense. The air around them was literally burning with heat and humidity, whether it was because of the weather, or because of all the heated stares being given to Vulcan, it didn't matter as it only added to the uncomfortableness of the situation. Looking back over at Vulcan, he seemed to still be in a sort of submissive stance, avoiding eye contact and shaking from his dip in the freezing river earlier. A small pang of sympathy twitched inside Eclipse but he was unsure of how to act upon it. Silently praying that they could talk this out without having to start any pointless fighting, he put on a poker face and waited for the Alpha to give further instructions.

Alpha female; Silver moon pack camp.

The large she-wolf stood tall, and quickly picked up the crying pup in her jaws. She leaped up the slippery rocks that laid outside her den. She stood up on the tallest part, looking over the camp. Setting the small pup down between her paws, she inhaled deeply. "Silver Moon Pack." She began. "I request the presence of both my deltas, and my lead hunter to my den immediately." Her icy gaze snapped on Vulcan, "Our guest may wait by the pond." A few pack members bowed slightly before moving away from the pond and into their dens. Without another word she nods briskly before swooping up the small bundle of fur, and quickly vanishing into her den.

She sets the pup down and begins to sniff him, to which he squirms and paws at her nose. She notes that he doesn't smell of sickness, a good sign. She begins to warm up the small pup by lapping at his fur, to which he calmly submits to.
Adder.

Eclipse

Delta Male; Silver Moon, Alpha Den

Rapidly responding to the she-wolf's commanding tone, Eclipse silently trailed behind her without saying another word, crumbling leaves and other small vegetation beneath his paws. He hoped that he would be able to convince Nightingale to let Vulcan join the pack if he was willing to. If he really was a hostile to Silver Moon then he could've just killed Nightingale right then and there, which would've thrown Silver Moon into turmoil for a while for they would be leaderless. Nonetheless, Eclipse was impressed at the way Vulcan had handled the situation earlier by showing no signs of aggression and retaining a passive stance, probably reducing the amount of cautiousness and distrust towards him from his fellow pack members. Of course, Vulcan keeping on a façade of submissiveness for now in order to gain trust, and then betraying Silver Moon later was always a possibility, but Eclipse would rather not think that those were Vulcan's true intentions. He knew that they needed strong wolves in Silver Moon due to the ever-growing tension between Silver Moon and Red River, but it would be even worse to let a wolf with bad intentions into the pack. Eclipse had always been one to put trust in people prematurely and that had taken its toll several times before, costing the lives of both his sister and his brother. Shoving the dark thoughts back into the deep recesses of his memory, he entered the alpha den and made himself comfortable as he sprawled himself out onto the cool floor. As he patiently waited for the others to arrive, he turned his gaze towards Nightingale as she tended to the pup as if it were her own.

Saoirse,

Silver Moon Beta,

Alpha’s den
.

Saoirse nodded to Night as she turned and disappeared from view, before returning her cool gaze back to the new wolf. Eclipse did not stay long, almost immediately obeying their alpha’s orders, as should she, but instead she lingered for a few moments eyeing up the large male curiously.

“Why did you jump into the river after Night?” She asked, her low voice hushed as she continued to stare at the wolf. “Eclipse was there and would have handled the situation, but regardless you got involved.” Stopping here, Saoirse raised her head and sniffed thoughtfully. “Regardless.” She stated, breaking her short silence. “Whatever we decide wolf, I wanted to thank you for the kindness you showed our alpha.”

Bowing her head, she then flicked one last, lingering look back before the pale wolf retreated, leaving the loner to his own company. It was not, Saoirse thought, something he was not use to already anyway.

Picking her way up the small incline, she finally followed Eclipse’s lead, trotting into the cool retreat of the alpha’s den silently. Noting her fellow beta’s sprawled figure on the stone floor, the she-wolf laughed and shook her head. “Ever the elegant one, Eclipse” Saoirse teased, as she sat, curling her tail about her.

However, when she saw her friend’s expression, attention trained on the alpha with the new young pup, Saoirse guessed her failed attempt at banter had fallen on death ears. A thought which quietened her heart a little. She had always liked Eclipse, he was a good strategist and the only one who could match her fleet footed movements with little effort. His laid back attitude kept her high strung personality relaxed, but the white wolf, Nightingale, had the attention of all males.

‘It is not my place to pay attention to males anyway’ Saoirse thought, feeling her heart sink. After all she was a beta and in comparison to the purity of the alpha, her silver coat must have seemed like nothing more than a dull rock grey. Her size, well that wasn’t even worth thinking about. Her head barely came to draw level with Eclipse’s shoulders, meaning when she greeted Night each morning with her nose to her cheek, she had to stretch up and balance precariously. It was a miracle she had not get fallen because of it.

Hearing the Alpha's orders once again, Vulcan lowered his head and waited for her to be engulfed by the darkness of the leader's den before looking towards the pond. It was a bit aside from where he was standing now and he was glad some of the pack members had returned to their dens or to their duties. He really didn't want any contact with any of them yet and they surely didn't either. He would have to wait a bit and he would have to be patient. He was one of the reasons for this gathering after all. The other was that silly pup. The pup would probably have no reason not to stay. The Alpha had even began caring for it in a special way. For him on the other hand they would probably have trouble finding a reason for him to stay. He turned towards the pond and was about to head there and take his place but he was instantly stopped by the words of the Beta female. He was speechless, unknowing how to answer this question on hers. Indeed, why? He didn't want to reveal the actual reason for him trying to become part of the pack. Not yet anyways. With time, everything would have to be revealed. Instead of coming up with some ridiculous reason for his actions, he simply muttered a short and quiet "I don't know", shaking his lowered head slightly in denial. When she then continued to thank him and head into the den where the others were surely already waiting for her, Vulcan finally walked over to the pond. He stood over the surface of the clear spring water and looked at his image. If he could see the old self, when he was still part of that darn pack, he wouldn't be able to recognize it. He had not only grown, his physique and appearance had changed altogether. He snorted at these thoughts and bowed, lowering his head to drink some water before standing up again and laying down a couple of feet from the pond. He began licking himself dry with his rough tongue that was literally sucking the moisture from his oily coat and cleaning it from some dirt as well. He scratched up some of the entangled hairs and cleaned his face rubbing his still wet front paws over it. He had to look at least somewhat acceptable. After a couple of minutes, when this was all done, he looked towards the opening on the cave and waited. He had no problem waiting, resting for once. A loner was always on the run, they almost never stopped moving, always looking for food and shelter or making sure to not stay too long in someone's territory - be it wolf or some other predator. Their life was always on the line, having no pack to support them or help them out when needed, no healer to tend to their wounds and no mate to keep them warm in the cold nights.

Silver moon Alpha female; Alpha's den

The icy gaze looked up toward her Betas. Her two most trusted wolves. Of course Eclipse seemed less then excited to determine the loner's fate, Yet Saoirse looked almost sad. Night twitched her silky ears, the small black pup squirming between her tall front legs and curling up in her fluffy tail. "Saoirse, What troubles you." The alpha questions, noting her almost depressing stance. Night had always been the one to talk to her subordinates, to always treat them how they deserved over than how others figured they deserved to be treated. The she-wolf sits back on her haunches, and examines bother her betas for a moment, both seem tired and possibly hungry. She will have to dismiss them to do what they pleases once she announces the loner's fate.

Silvermoon, Lead Hunter

River/Alpha Den.

The male kept himself quiet, not wanting to speak when not asked. His bright yellow eyes trailed from the new wolf to the pup who seemed to take a liking to Night. However as they were requested to her den, he followed at the rear, making sure the stalker wasn't going to run off. Once to the pack grounds again he slipped inside the den quietly, seating himself off to the side, watching the two Delta's and the Alpha discuss the issue. Elixir was a respectful wolf and was good at following orders and at the most part he thought he was a respectful wolf. His vibrant eyes then fell to the ground as he took a deep, yet quiet breath, listening to the conversation of the three wolves.

Eclipse

Male Beta; Silver Moon, Alpha Den

With the atmosphere of the alpha den unusually tense, Eclipse surveyed the room. Nightingale was still looking at Saoirse in an expectant manner, waiting for a response, while Elixir had quietly walked in and seated himself off to the side. After a few more moments of quietness, he broke the awkward silence sternly said, "I think we should get down to business now, we can dwell on other matters later." He didn't want to ignore the sullen look on Saoirse's complex features as he also wondered why she looked so down but he wanted to get this thing about Vulcan over with as soon as possible, because quite frankly he wasn't too enthusiastic about using more of his already mostly depleted energy. His patience beginning to dwindle as silence continued to envelop the room, Eclipse sighed. He usually had a high tolerance for waiting but today was different, it had been a stressful and eventful morning and he was looking forward to some rest back in his den. "If you don't mind Nightingale, could you please start the meeting now?" Eclipse requested, turning his gaze back to the white she-wolf.

Saoirse glanced up calmly, afraid to move in case she betrayed the internal turmoil which erupted when Night addressed her sombre stance. Yet as her mind fumbled for a respectful answer, anything to bring the heat away from herself, Eclipse unwittingly came to her rescue. His impatience clear about the matter, he pushed for Night to ignore the sudden change in Saoirse’s personality, which allowed the pale wolf to relax a little.

Offering a smile, Saoirse flicked her tail nonchalantly as if this would sweep aside Night’s needling concern before joining Eclipse’s call for a change in subject.

“It’s kind of you to ask, but I was just lost in thought.”

Although Saorise did not believe in lying to the higher ups, often scolding others for such actions, this she reasoned, was not a lie. After all, she had been lost in thought, even if it was focused on a jealous day dream. “Would you like us to begin then, Nightingale?”

The question was added quickly in her usual gentle tones, as to not draw attention back to herself. There were more important matters to discuss. Even now, she could recall the anguish she had once felt when the very same meeting had been called discuss her fate. Beyond the den’s gapping mouth, she knew all too well the feelings which knotted around Vulcan’s heart. The life of a lone wolf was a hard thing and not something many wolves could survive.

If anything, despite the risky actions displayed by the wolf down near the river, Vulcan would have to be a strong wolf to survive by himself, and that was something the Silver Moon pack was in need of.

However, the fate of Vulcan do not just lie in her jaws. Knowing how her fellow beta’s mind work, she had no doubt that since first seeing Vulcan, he had begun calculating their next move. Having recognised that both Night and Eclipse had witnessed the stranger wolf’s arrival first hand, she waited for Night to lead the meeting. After all, they knew more.

Fenris decides to stay on the sidelines of the rest of the wolves, listening to their reasoning and decisions. He trots forward after listening to the arguing and discussing of the fellow wolves of the pack. "I believe that we should at least consider what we could gain from this new wolf joining our pack. Who knows what he could do for us?"

Silver Moon Alpha; Alpha den.

The she-wolf flicked her harsh pale gaze toward Eclipse, her eyes stern yet she relaxes once Saoirse answers her question. Night listens to the beta females reasoning and twitches her ears a few times, before curling her tail around her paws rather large paws. "Very well." She spoke quietly, Then she flicked her icy gaze to Eclipse. "What is your thoughts on the matter, Eclipse?" She questions, her eyes almost boring into the male as she stared deeply at him. Her ears forward and her tail flicking a few times as she awaits his response. Night doesn't full trust the loner, yet if positive votes over-rule negative votes, the wolf stays. As an Omega of course, yet he can slowly show himself worthy of higher ranks.

The large male nods briskly, before hurrying after his Alpha. Reaper following in his paw steps obediently, the two males were quite the sight. Reaper's fur scarred from various battles and earning his rank rightfully, his dark gaze stern and deep.

Once they reach the river, the scent of Silver Moon is heavy in the air, yet that may be due to the fact that the pair were down wind, causing the scent of their rivals to drift to them. Reaper growls and sniffs around a bit, looking for any sign of the wolves having been in their territory. As he nears the water's edge, he bares his fangs at a familiar sight. White fur was laced with the dark water, some of the fur clung to the edge of the bank. "Salem, Nightingale's fur." He grumbles, smelling the fresh scent.

Eclipse

Beta Male; Silver Moon, Alpha Den

Eclipse stood up on to all four paws as he began to speak. "I believe we should figure out exactly what he wants. For all we know he might just want to return to being a lone wolf, not very probable considering the efforts he took to save you, Nightingale but it's a possibility," he said as Nightingale's icy eyes bore down on him, causing him to shudder a little. "If he does want to become part of the pack we should consult as to exactly why he does because at the moment the only reason I have for letting him join the pack is because he's notably strong and he saved our alpha," he continued as he looked around the room to make sure he had everyone's attention. He shuffled his paws nervously, hoping that they would understand what was behind his thinking. "Basically, I just don't think it's right to make a decision without getting his input first, I would prefer to have him stay but I would like to know his reasons," he finally explained, settling back down into his reclusive state. He hoped he had made up for his disrespect towards Nightingale earlier with his opinions.

Alpha female of Silver moon; Alpha Den.

"I see." She curls her tail slightly, Before turning her gaze toward Elixir. "And what's your opinion on this situation?" She asks, her ear flicking curiously and her tail curling slightly. The alpha female was already beginning to create a plan in her mind, to bring the loner in among the three, and explain why he desires to join. If he desires to join at all and wasn't merely passing through when he saw Night in the River.

Lead Hunter, Silvermoon

Alpha Den

Elixir perked his ears when his name was called an he stood up onto all four legs, stepping forward slightly he stood tall in front of his alpha "Well.. I believe everyone is given a chance if proven worthy .. He did save your life Nightingale .. I think we should bring him in and let him explain himself and also state what he would like to do, if he wants to join then give him the chance, if not let him be on his way" With that Elixir stepped back and took a seat in his cozy spot next to the exit of the den, his eyes watching the cold blues of Night's eyes

Alpha female of Silver Moon; Alpha den; Stern

The large she-wolf twitched her silky ears in annoyance, "He didn't save my life, he stepped forward and put his own life on the line, yes. yet i could have done it on my own." She spoke through her fangs with a slight growl that tainted her gentle, and usually sweet voice. My how she despised seeming weak or underestimated. She flicked her tail a few times, before standing up. Standing tall, she quickly whisked out of her den, standing on the tallest rock she looked toward Vulcan. "Vulcan." She barked, her ears perked and tail curled. "Come to my den." She ordered, her gaze and tone harsh, yet it didn't happen the flaw her magnificent and elegant beauty. She quickly stepped back into her den, letting her icy gaze flick to each of the wolves inside the large cave. "I have requested his presence, We shall listen to his reasoning before we decide." She spoke without question or room to disapprove of her choice. She curled her tail around her paws and sat tall, ears perked forward.

Vulcan looked up at the Alpha as she emerged from the den. She truly looked magnificent, holding her head high, probably with pride as well. And she had the full right to be. She was the leader of a powerful pack, their strength and courage unmatched by any other. Reading her body language however and the way she called out to him, it didn't look good for him. He pulled his ears back, his whole body stiff and made himself look smaller when she barked at him, then when she returned to the cave, he stood up. He turned his head and looked towards the forest. No one was there to stop him if he decided to run for it... But no! This was his only chance. He was no coward. He was going to accept his fate, even if that meant losing his life. Perhaps it was meant to be this way. He looked back up towards the cave. Better not keep them waiting. He trotted up the small rocky hill and stood in front of the dark entrance to the cove. He inhaled and exhaled deeply, then slowly entered, keeping his posture as calm as he possibly could.

Eclipse

Male Beta, Silver Moon; Alpha Den

Eclipse's head turned towards the entrance of the den as the black wolf trotted in. He noticed the unease in Vulcan's yellow eyes, as well as the mask of calmness he had put on. He wasn't surprised in the least that Vulcan had been a little rattled, he already knew first hand that Nightingale could become extremely fierce and terrifying when she wanted to. Gesturing for Vulcan to settle down, Eclipse gave him a look of reassurance before he spoke, "Please do not be alarmed, we just have a couple of inquiries." The tension in the room seemed to dissipate as he spoke, allowing Eclipse a sigh of relief. "First of all we just want to know whether you want to join the pack or just be on your way. If it's the latter, then you we will let you go right now," Eclipse continued, "Assuming that you do want to join the pack, we would like to hear your reasons for wanting to, as we'll use those reasons for reference in deciding whether or not to let you in."

Reasons? He wasn't prepared to argument his reasons. He wasn't prepared to do or say anything. And even his attempts to fake composure had been revealed so lies would get him nowhere here. They would only make matters worse, make him look like some shady guy, even a spy for Red River. He lowered his head to the ground, his nose almost touching the sand and leaves. Images flashed in front of his tightly closed eyes, his breathing and speeding heart were calming themselves. Then he lifted up his head and held it high, his ears up and alert, his tail slightly raised from the base. He wasn't displaying dominance, he wasn't that stupid, but instead confidence. If they didn't accept his reasons, then he would either go or die but not as a coward or a weakling. "Two years ago, I used to be a member of Red River pack." he said calmly, his deep voice resonating through the cave. "They took someone away from me and now I seek revenge." he continued, his teeth slightly exposed as he spoke and it was like his yellow eyes sparked and filled themselves with a mixture of sadness and rage. "You won't be able to avoid this fight. But we can do each other a favor. You gain a new member to your pack, increasing your size and strength and I get to fulfill my promise." he said finally and relaxed his lips, letting them cover up his teeth again. He was letting in on emotions and he didn't know how they would react to this. In any case, he wasn't going to beg for them to let him in, neither would he go down without a fight. If they attacked him now, he would be ready for it. His eyes were carefully scanning the wolves present in the den, his body tense but his breathing calm, his claws dug into the ground, ready to propel him at the attacker at any given moment.
