Its one of the more commonly rolled skills, so I can see how you might get that impression. In general though you only need to roll if a GM asks for it or you have an action you want to do.

No worries, just be aware that you can't cast that spell and attack in the same turn, its gotta be one or the other.

Ah, yeah, I was afraid that was the case. I always think that a bonus action can be used to attack for some reason. Alright, I'll be casting barkskin then. I'll edit my post.

Posting rate is "whenever its your turn" or "whenever you can" with a general rule of once every few days before I start checking in to see if you're still interested in.

Since you're not in combat, you can post pretty much any time I make a post addressing your character.

Alright as much as I don't like it, I've spent the last few days trying and failing to work up the focus for the game, so I'm going to have to admit that I've lost my enthusiasm for it. Aww, the roleplay for all the stragglers of dead dnd games ends up dying itself.
