Ooh, this is hard. Embrace is being so actively offensive and unsettling Sigrdrífa is going to have no chance of defending her, and she's thrown down the gauntlet hard enough Sigrdrífa's spoiling to fight right now to put her in her place. I don't think there's any sitting down by a fire here - Sigrdrífa now wants to fight her (for fun and to defend her honour), and she's actively made sure she's disliked to outright hated by most everyone else. Even Toun is probably going to turn against her if she keeps this up. If she's trying to provoke the group into fighting her, or bait them into 'opposing' her in a way she benefits from, she's succeeding spectacularly, but if she's trying to get Sigrdrífa and Toun to do something for her other than punch her she's probably made a serious misstep.
How do you want to handle Sigrdrífa attacking Embrace? Narratively, with a dice roll, or full on Join Battle? I'm pretty sure Afureru will JB before she lets Embrace remain in camp, but Sigrdrífa will be offended if she intervenes in what she sees as her fight. This is going to get complicated.

Toun's currently pondering whether this is actually Aleifr, or something else wearing Aleifr's skin. A reasonable doubt for one capable of such a feat himself.
Regardless, between jabs of "tough love" to push her toward what he considers the right direction, he's going to reach for information before trying to restrain or detain her for interrogation. Based on what I'd discussed with our ST, she's revealed enough for Toun to believe she's either behind the spirit corruption or in league with those that are. If so, then matters escalate. I'd expect this to be a recurring conflict if it goes that direction.

Haha! And here i was saying Afureru is in just as similar a predicament.
She is very on edge right now,(in case it wasn't obviously obvious). And, she really doesn't know what to do.
On one hand. She has no idea why her inner tyrant lizard is giving so many conflicting signals that she is about as flummoxed as she has every been. Her gut reaction to these sorts of scenarios has always been to go straight into violence, but Sigfrida and Tuon are both seemingly on the side of Embrace. And she does indeed care what they think. She doesn't want to have to fight them like this if she can help it.
On the other hand. She has a defining tie to destroy those that threaten creation. She has no proof this girl is a threat beside the maddening screeching in her ear trying to tell her something she should obviously know but doesn't. To top it off, Afureru doesn't even know if she hates the girl or not.
Afureru REALLY wants to act. And that Embrace is even setting up a campfire despite her warning is really pushing a button. Like pounding on a button with a giant mallet.
So if Embrace is trying to provoke, she is doing a superb job at it.

All that said! I'm always down for a fight. Be it against Embrace or Sigrdrífa.
Afureru hasn't really done anything yet but watch and make blustery comments. So it would be fun to shake things up.
That said! This ain't the Afureru show. So I'm not about to steer things in any direction nobody else wants. I can reason Affy into any direction, even if that direction might involve rolling for limit.
So I need yells thoughts before I act. If you would like this to be a peaceful scene or violent, or if I can help serve another characters aims in some way.

And by-the-by, for better or worse, I run my games as “play to find out”. And all of Creation and NPCs are in my “crosshairs”. There’s no special treatment for NPCs or anything. They don’t get special safety. If you kill her, I won’t stop you. That will be an interesting twist of events. There’s no pre-planned story here. Just people and powers in forward motion.

I'm fine with a single roll-off or you deciding who wins. Sigrdrífa's goal is to pin her and force her to submit, and she probably won't let up until she gets Embrace to recant and admit she's just jealous Sigrdrífa is still alive, that her new name is stupid, and that she's the one stalking Sigrdrífa not the other way around.

Makuro won't protest too much if someone decides to attack Embrace; Toun already seems to consider her a potential threat, and from what's been said here, Sigrdrífa will have similar sentiments. On the other hand, while he'll happily fight in self-defense, he doesn't really know enough to be comfortable with attacking Embrace himself, what with his lack of knowledge regarding the Abyssals and the Deathlords. Plus, he's still unnerved from the sight of those bodies, which is likely to put him at a disadvantage.

Every time someone insults Sigrdrífa she gets Limit, so Embrace is just an endless fountain of Limit. I don't think anyone else has insulted her up to this point, but I can roll retroactively if I've forgotten.

If Afureru intercedes and strikes to... uh... re-dead, Sigrdrífa will fight on Embrace's side. As far as Sigrdrífa's concerned, Embrace's only crime is insulting her, and that's just Marsday and should be repaid in kind plus a submission hold. Trying to end Embrace's unlife is a significant - and in Sigrdrífa's mind wholly unjustified - escalation. There will be fisticuffs all around. I have no problem with any of this.
We just need a ruling from WlfSamurai on how to resolve the chain of events.
