Leyondra stepped out from the shadows and gave a slight bow, she could tell the man facing her was older than he looked, so she would show respect as expected of her. Stepping forward she faced Crogus and spoke in a gentle voice.


I am glad that you received my message, I hope it was not too much of an inconvenience?





She asked as she took a seat on a bench, she knew her answers would have to be carefully crafted. Any sign of hesitation or deception and her cover would be blown.


I have need of you, a request if you will oblige me?

he sighs "Sure. What could a warlock friend would want from me?" he smiles at the girl. She was cute but he learned from his recent mistake that he had to be carefully.


He thinks What would she want from me? It is rare having two warlocks meet this way

Luckily she had a story in place already. Giving a gentle smile, she explained her issue.


My mentor has tasked me with finding a new student for him since I have moved beyond a student, but I do not know how to begin to find a potential student.


She ran a hand through her hair, letting her fingers run through as she looked at you.


If there was one thing she was good at, it was playing up the gentle innocent look.


She knew she was still in danger this close to the institute but with this guy around at least she had a bit of back up

Leyondra froze, she was never given information for this. She knew this was a dangerous situation.


She looked scared and whispered


"I....I cant remember"





She looked scared, but inside she was a sea of calm, She had her job and there was no alternative option than success.


She had been told to do whatever it took to get her results. Failure was not an option

Damn, this was going south fast. She would need to come up with something to save this. There was only one thing to do.


Pulling up the sleeve of her jacket, she showed the scorch marks from when her "mentor" had punished her.


With a shaky voice she said to him


"He.....he is looking for a future warlock....to....to build up his power base. any sign of opposition and he...well"





She indicated to her wrist showing that she had not exactly agreed to this

he looks at her "Then why come back to him? Just stay here with me and the other warlocks. Why would I give a future warlock to an evil guy?"


"And if you really want me to help you, you have to make me a deal and a good one"

Now her nerves were genuine, was she getting in too deep. She was not sure but she had to do what she could.


"What do you need me to do?"





She knew she would be grilled on what got her here but for now she had to play the part of the frightened girl.


She had to play it well, but she was questioning how far she was willing to go here.

he smiles. That girl... something was strange

She was lost, no idea how to proceed.


She stood there shaking slightly, looking around before speaking


Theres going to be an attack in a few days, against some of the Shadow Hunters


She was taking a big risk revealing a planned attack, She knew more than she spoke of course,


but for now she gave certain bits

Sìn hesitated for a moment before he finally followed after the girl, his eyes narrowed in confusion. "But...a demon can't get into idris...nor can anyone else for that matter. Not without the claves permission at least?

"They plan to attack while the targets are away from the institute"


She took a deep breath, she knew she would be punished for this. Plans did not just happen over night, it was careful and thought out and in a few simple words she had ruined it.


The fact that she was able to keep her composure around the hunter was amazing, her fists clenched slightly as she kept her magic in check. It would be easy to let loose and go for the


attack but there was no point, not with one target.

Sìn was following behind the lightwood girl when suddenly his eyes happened to glanced out towards the place where he noticed crogus standing with what appeared to be another warlock. 'Wait...' He thought to himself as he slowed his pace to a stop. 'She looks for oddly....sketchy.' He thought to himself before his hand moved towards the grip of his sword.

She froze as she detected someone close by. Her little red bird was not just for show. It also acted as a watch and as soon as someone came close enough she was warned.


Her hands flared with magic and she turned to face the intruder. Enough was enough, this person wanted to play the coy game, she would as well.


"I know your there, you might as well come out"

"I wasn't trying to hide." Sìn said in a low tone, making his way out towards the girl but being careful to keep his distance from her as well. "But I am curious as to who you are and why you're here.." His silver eyes watched her with a certain distrust in them and his hand, or at least his right hand continued to rest in his sword.

She watched him approach slowly, she lowered her hands but the crackle of her magic didn't fade. Her eyes picked up on his hand that rested on the sword but made no comment.


"Last time I checked I did not owe you any sort of answer, so I am curious do all Shadow Hunters walk around calling the shots whenever they please? or is it a specific trait you possess?"


She knew she had deflected his question, but his attitude had annoyed her more than she would ever admit to, add to the fact that he was a Shadowhunter and well that made her downright bitchy.


With a smirk laced in sarcasm she bowed slightly and spoke with a mocking tone.


"I hope you forgive my lack of manners, I'm not quite used to dealing with Shadowhunters you see"

Sìn smiled slightly despite the situation and he matched the girls sarcasm with that of his own. "Oh no no by all rights and means I possess that very specific trait." He replied, inclining his head slightly in her direction. "And your poor manners are excused. You simply forgot that a shadowhunter as good looking as I, doesn't play games with shady warlocks." He raised his head to look back at the warlock with a slightly cocky grin. "Do better in the future yeah?" Said before he looked at her with a mocking sort of shocked expression. "By the angel I'm so sorry..it appeared that I forgot my manners as well."

She could not help the smile that came across her face as he bartered words with her. She placed her hand on your cheek gently and spoke with a condescending tone of voice


"It's ok, I would not worry about it, I'm sure you will reach an acceptable level some day. I would not let the fact that your peers outdo you affect your performance too much, Would you like a participation sticker for trying to be funny?"





She did not realise how close they had gotten during their little back and forth of words

"I'd appreciate a gold star for trying." Sìn said with a slight shrug of his shoulders, noticing how close he'd gotten to the girl when he felt her hand rest on his cheek. " it's not easy trying to be a comedian. Sometimes it's easier just to let things go. Accept the loss you know?" He said with a chuckle. "Case in point right now. You should accept that you've lost in our exchange of words. One loss doesn't mean too much In the long run."
