Jadyn sulked in the room for a couple seconds, then ran to the gym, stopping in her room to grab her sword. Once in there, she started practicing. Nothing in particular, just to keep her mind off of life.

Alyssa exhaled in relief. She was slightly glad that was no one from the Clave. As far as she knew, they could strip her runes because of pure stupidity to be honest. She turned back to the scorched paper and groaned. Now. She would have to do all of that again. Running her hands through her hair she shrugged. "Fuck it. I'll do it later." She said, walking out and going to what used to be her room in the Institute.


It sucked that she decided to live on her own, they gave her room to someone else. She never expected Mundane life to be so...Hard. She actually needed to do work besides physical and that kinda confused her. There were no people hunting down bad guys, there were police officers but they had extremely restricting laws that she would never understand how they stopped people with. In the Shadow world, if someone was seriously breaking the law, you took them down. If it was a minor offense the Clave would take care of them. In the Mundane world if you caught a murderer they would be put on trial and then put in a room to live in until someone decides they can come out.


It made no sense to her.


She layed down on what used to be her bed, now probably belonged to a kid that couldn't even hold their Stele straight. Oh well, she'd get out when the kid cam back. For now she was just gonna mellow out on the surprisingly soft bed.

She looked up at him, noticing the change in his voice. "Please,sit" she motioned to a chair before her desk, letting him sit before continuing.


"We're you close to a Logan Starkweather during your time at the academy? I do recall that he was many in your classes. Did you two ever speak with each other?"

Before she had finished with Sin, she excused herself to her room. Opening the door, she looked at Crogus. "Get out of my room. NOW!"

he sighs and looks at her "You were the one who ditched me and let me here alone Lightwood. So please lower your voice" he gets up. The frogs jump to his bag. He then closes it and looks it at her "You know... it hurt a bit"


he says and leaves the room. She doesnt know, but het let a frog there, hidden from her.

"yes I" he started to say before she excused herself from the office.'wgat does she need to know about starkweather for?" He began thinking quietly to himself with a look of distrust etched on his face. 'I'll send him a fire message and see what he's done now.' Sìn thought quietly to himself.

She soon returned. "I apologize, someone was in my room. Now, I understand you did know Starkweather." She said as she sat back down.





"Do you know of any major enemies he would have? Because, I'll be blunt. He's dead." She sighed. "Killed two nights ago at the Academy. His neck and wrists were slit."

Okay so it turns out that 'kid' was like 6 feet tall and a huge dick. She shook her head as she wandered down the hallway. The institute really needed to teach these guys to respect their elders. She was more irritated at the fact that she was so close to sleep just for some teenager with an attitude decided to yell at her for no reason. Besides the fact that she was totally curled up on the bed drifting off to sleep of course. She kept walking down the winding corridors and yawned loudly. Ugh. She felt like death. She hadn't slept in a week, she had been up, hunting demons on or near Pandemonium or covering for Luke and Jocelyn while they were on their honeymoon. She could honestly just drop right now, but honestly, what impression would that set for a 700 year old Shadowhunter to be curled up in a ball, dead asleep in the middle of the hallway. Thats right. A bad one. "Kill me now." She groaned softly, leaning against a wall and closing her eyes in disdain.

Sìn raised his eyebrows ever so slightly in shock and he soon lowered his gaze to the floor. "Logan was...he was nothing like his father." His expression soon turned from one of shock to that of anger. "Another shadowhunter killed him huh?" He muttered to himself before he rose to his feet, forgetting that the light wood was still in her office. "It must have been aldertree..." He said as his hand moved to the sword at His hip. "Either aldertree of blackheart."

"Please, Sìn, calm down" she said. "We have our suspicions, but no proof. The Clave opened an official investigation, which I've been assigned to. Right now, all you can do is tell me what you may know."

"What proof do we have it was a shadowhunter?" Crogus says as he walks in the room. His eyes focus on Sìn.


He then smiles "Dead shadowhunters. It happens all the time so we have no proof it was another shadowhunter. Why not a demon? Or a vampire..."
