Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Nolan deals with such a thing almost every time he rises -- get on his level, captain.

"And just when I thought I would spend my entire lifetime being the idiot, we get an even bigger idiot with us. Now, I feel the pain you felt all these years, Nolan. I'm sorry for torturing you all these years and I know I can't ever make it up to you, but I'll try to help if you're in trouble."

"Aha, I've found a suitable partner at last!"

"I'm not even gonna comment on that."

"If it means to cure you of your lack of pronounciation skills, I'll consider it."

"Finally, some mutual grounds between us." He replied dryly.

"Yes, Nolan, and there are days whenever I'm confronted by a mountain of paperwork I'd pray to the gods for the chance to hire you."

"Are you so mentally warped that you can't realize the depth of my words?!?"

"No, Jean, you're so immature that you can't even hold a mature conversation with us adults. Go play with that sword or something, but leave me be, child. I have important matters to attend to."

"You dare defy the King, you dandy prat?!?!?! You mucky cock robin! You wallowing chimney sweeper!"

Alas, I must stop my dialogue. Getting too long-winded, I'm forced to think.

Allow me the pleasure of switching to another topic, of more tasteful nature, I suppose.

Any of you here read books? If so, what is your favourite genre?

"You dare defy the King, you dandy prat?!?!?! You mucky cock robin! You wallowing chimney sweeper!"

"You are only a king in your dreams, child. And I fear that you will stay as a child forever. A man who has not grown up at the age of forty shall never grow up. It's a hopeless case, but I'll try to wake you from your dreams one day because you are my friend. We have had our differences, Jean, and also you may not be a good person, but you are still my friend. You give me headaches day and night, and you cause me no end of trouble, but you are still my friend. So please, my friend, stop being foolish and listen to me for once. I am doing this for you as I always have done things for you.

Remember the day when I swore loyalty to you? The look on people's faces when they saw that I, Lord Walter, a powerful noble of Elysium, bowed down to you when nobody else would? Remember the days I fought by your side, and how I still stayed with you even if everybody ran away? Do you remember all the sacrifices I made just so you could have the throne all for yourself?

You... may only be a king in your dreams, Jean, but I promise to protect that dream of yours forever even after death. We will not let anything stand in our way, Jean. When the Dark kingdom came to snatch the throne away we beat them back. And we did the same for the Water and Earth kingdoms. Right now, we jeopardize the safety of the realm for love, Jean, and I can't bear to see everything we've done so far go to waste.

That's it, Jean, if it means I can save the kingdom and if I can save your heritage, then you can have Emilia. Because not only are you my king, but you are also my friend. So please, Jean, let me stand by your side again, and let me fight for you, and let me sacrifice more of myself for you."

I read mostly fantasy and non-fictional history. I did have one sci-fi one but its from a game.

I surrender. 'Tis too deep for my restless soul.

Grimgutz only gives a slow clap for the camraderie that the knight displays, something of respect among Orks.

"I somehow find that quite flattering, coming from you -- and who knew you still actually prayed. Perhaps my current opinion of you may need some changes."

"It's pretty difficult to take someone seriously when they spit out such colourful language almost nonstop."

"You may find me... surprisingly superstitious whenever I'm anxious or worried. But I really felt my faith come back to me when I met Emilia."

Fantasy, Adventure, what a surprise amiright?
However I don't mind a bit of mystery here and there

Fantasy, done in its finest, can offer a brilliant world and even more brilliant characters — though it would be a lie if I said it was easy.

Fantasy is a broad genre, and likely the biggest genre we have here. There are elegant, brooding novels with poignant worlds, and energetic thrillers that thrive on the basis of time and recurring difficulties. Depends, really, but I enjoy them all.

Someone give Walter a grammy award

And that speech reveals that there is real good in Walter. There's something in him that can never be corrupted no matter how hard people try. And well, that's also partly why Walter is so attracted to Emilia, he sees something in her that he lost a long time ago. It's the reason why he doesn't just go evil even if he does some pretty bad things. And that's why the moral alignment of Chaotic Neutral really fits him.

Well I think we touched on some form of ridiculous romance -- I actually wanna do that too but there's hardly any compatible "partners".
a man married to his duty, much sad but honourable
I know what you mean.
A wandering ronin in search of her Master's killer hardly leaves time for romance.
