Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Fucking mermaids.

So far in this roleplay we have a Dark lord with a good heart, a couple of characters ripped off from Street Fighter, a shapeshifter, a lady knight with a pure heart, a pencil pusher that can actually kick ass, ONE OF THE GREATEST CHARACTERS EVER WHICH IS MY CHARACTER, a hot mermaid that commands the Water Navy, ALSO ANOTHER GREAT CHARACTER which is GRIMGUTZZZZ the most badass ork evahhh, and then we have JEANNNN THE LOST KINGGGG THAT WILL TOTALLY KILL YOUUU TOOOO, then we have you....

Several others.... plague doctor... and shit but all right that's all for now.

I am purposely making the weakest character ever. Just for contrast. I think it will be fun to play a basic infantry character when everyone else is playing basically demi-gods.

What Heis means to say is that we three are the most powerful, impactful characters here and the rest of you don't quite MATTER.

I don't think fighting's going to be too much here. Mostly political and subterfuge shit.
I figured as much, which is exactly why it's going to be fun to play as a scrawny Lizardfolk. While everyone is engaged in political warfare, he'll be going about his usual tribe life, waiting to get dispatched and probably die. It's going to be great.

It's going to be de la great. Unless, of course, Jean finds a good use for a scrawny lizardman who seems very unassuming and is so normal that nobody even notices him...

No, do not sell yourself out, mate. There is still a lot you can do with us. All you have to do is be creative and use what you've got already. You can go far in this world, Faceless, even if you start at the bottom of the ladder; you just have to start the climb. People will fall down from the ladder and you can get ahead of them if you just tried.

Do what you can and you will be surprised with what you can do.

...

...

But of course, Walter's STILL gonna kick your ass!

What Heis means to say is that we three are the most powerful, impactful characters here and the rest of you don't quite MATTER.

The Dark king can still kick our ass if we are not careful, Eleph. What's more is that the Light kingdom is still a superpower even if it is still engage in numerous civil wars. We can not underestimate our enemies if we want to achieve victory. Even the shapeshifter alone will be a formidable opponent to deal with as he can frame us for something we did not do. What more can we expect from the Dark king's minions? Chaos and terror, Eleph.

We may be powerful but we are still fighting against the odds. We are fighting both the Light and the Darkness and possibly all the other kingdoms combined. We have powerful friends and enemies, and in the end we will pay a heavy cost. So much blood will be spilled for our ambitions. Will the people remember us for our greatness or our cruelty and pettiness? I wonder...

I wonder what line in the sand Walter will draw before he stops...

What limits Jean will have...

And what level of violence will make Grimgutz freeze in terror...

We are all pushing our characters to the limits. Not just us but the others as well. We will see who is the most powerful character in the end. My character may start off well, but he can still fall down to the depths.

We shall see what the future holds for us when we ARE in the future.

Eleph, I pledge my loyalty to you as my overlord and as my king... I will fight by your side forever and I will love your friends and hate your enemies... I will destroy or save the world at your command... and I will do it without a second thought. I will not fight for justice. I will not fight for all that is good in this world. I will fight for YOU.

Different theme, I like it. My minor NPC characters from Walter's army can interact with you, and through your POV we can see what the local people will think when they are confronted with powerful forces that can affect politics.

That's the greatest thing about a plotline, Heis — the struggle, the conflict, the layers of destruction lopped upon more destruction and then even more afterwards. We'll probably lose a few times, and we'll even win a good few times too — but it's not the perspective of who comes out, though Jean might disagree with this, it's how the game's played.

And even if we win, will the world truly be a better place? Or just a crappy unification ruled by three motherfucking tyrants with absolutely no heart.

But, there's a good side to loss too. Those three will probably lose many things, and in the process, learn better stuff.

Walter can gain convictions and beliefs, instead of straying about a man with too neutral a mind.

Jean can probably be more tender about things, and care about the effects his actions have on people.

And Grimgutz will likely learn to love peace, or at least respect it — violence really doesn't solve anything.

That was surprisingly deep, and somewhat motivating.

DAMN, I HAVE TO FINISH JEAN QUICK!!!!!!!!! TOO EXCITEZ!!!!!

Yep, he'll be a good undercover agent. It's their job not to be noticeable anyway.

Grimgutz is supremely noticeable, probably won't even fit in the bar.

Walter kicks people too much and probably will get into bar fights.

Jean brags and boasts, and will probably steal all the money of the bar-goers.

I can understand the uses a very ordinary person might hold.

Right now... I just have to think about what you said earlier... It's really gotten to me.

And Walter does have a neutral, objective assessment of everything. He... prides himself in being as honest as possible. He takes everything in account and leaves nothing behind. In the end, he's sort of cold and calculating but he doesn't let anyone in on it. Walter is so good at his job and people hate him so much that he's... so alone...

And in truth, I think Walter never hated anybody... he only hated himself... He HATES himself and... that will provide... a good plot point later... when he's all alone... and nobody is there to stop him from taking his own life.

I want to see what Gee Dee would think about this. He knows Walter's backstory. He knows almost EVERYTHING about Walter's backstory.

Eleph, I'll show you what Gee Dee and I have been up to.

There's just this side of Walter that he hides from everybody else. Nobody but him knows about it.

You underestimate the princess and those loyal to her but you'll see :)

See, Eleph? Princess is gonna go put some sunshine on us and we're done for. No, seriously, the princess IS powerful.

The princess is young, can fight with both magic and sword...

And Jean is just an old man... while Walter doesn't have magic... and Grimgutz... yeah Grim can probably take her on alone.

Jean might be old but he's technically still a royal(and an ex king at that) so he should be more capable.

And Grimgutz is Grimgutz, he too stronk
