For me I just like to put a lot of thought into backstory (Not heis and elph level tho), it's just fun for me, especially when the character deals in stuff I'm knowledgeable about.

I like... not having characters that are too much like me. xD so I like them to know about things I don't know about... then I have to learn about those things. >> I just don't necessarily know how realistic I want to make a character sometimes.
