That's a negatory, Eleph. Walter doesn't like magic stuff or anything. Since Walter is a lord, he might have a personal guard of household troops with him. You could be one of Walter's personal knights then.

I like the idea of a previous king that was forced from the throne.
It could make for a nice political dilemma for Nolan and Aurelie(princess) to navigate as some of her detractors would probably cite that historical event as a way to potentially get rid of her.
If he was forced to give up his throne in favor of his heir then he doesn't really have as much claim as she does since the throne was lawfully passed on.
