Jon frowned and shook his head. “He’s probably got caught up… something happened. You need to call him.” He told him seriously then walked away.

Carmen came around an hour later in a hospital room, starting to panic until she heard Alex’s voice and felt his hand on hers, grabbing at it and watching him. “What’s going on?”

Ron frowned giving a small nod "I'll do that, thank you." He murmured before walking inside to say hello to everyone

Alex got her to the hospital and stayed by her side not answering any of the phone calls he received. He squeezed her hand when he saw her start to wake up "Hey..hey..hey, we're at the hospital. You collapsed at the house. They got you on a nutrient IV drip."

She frowned and just nodded tiredly, trying to tug on him to come closer. “Where’s Leo? Did the neighbours watch him?” She mumbled, a little disoriented still.

Jon nodded and headed back out to max. “You wanna go get some lunch?” He asked her quietly. “And hopefully by the time we get back they’ll be done with him.” He told her

Alex frowned as he listened to her shakimg his head some "You gotta start eating Carmen, you're going to die if you don't." He murmured completely ignoring her question.

Max gave a small nod smiling softly as Ana squealed reaching for him "Lookd like someone wants their daddy."

She frowned some and shook her head. “I’m not hungry.” She mumbled, “I just had breakfast.” She told him making absolutely no sense until she eventually passed out again.

Jack called his son shortly after coming out of the meeting, “hey… I tried calling you yesterday to tell you I’d be in town and you never answered. But I’m here. Just finished up, thought I’d come over see you guys… Jon said you had some important news.” He told him frowning “Oh I picked up some stuff for the little one as well, is he doing any better?”

Alex frowned more as she passed out shaking his head a bit. He took a deep breath as his phone rang again seeing his dad's number. He stepped out of the room and answered "Hey uh....shit...yeah um...Leo he...he uh..shit.." he said down the line unable to say it out loud to him "He died Dad." He said quietly before sniffling down the line trying to keep himself together unaware that he had just called him Dad for the first time in years.

Max smiled happily as she giggled loudly squealing at him "You're doing a great job with her Jon, I just want you to know that." She said before pecking his lips gently

Jack swallowed a little and stood in silence as he listened to his son. “Where are you?” He asked, hearing him explain further what had happened with carmen and he made his way to his bike. “Im on my way.” He told him, hanging up and going to be there for him.

He smiled tiredly, holding them both close while they headed to the car, getting Anna in her car seat, going to get in the front but paused as he saw Tyler storming out of the club house with no kutte and a king off on his bike.

Alex looked over when heard his father's voice "Hey...its uh....been a minute." He murmured as he stood up before engulfing his father in a manly hug.

Max frowned a bit when she saw Tyler from the rear view mirror "Can I ask why he is being kicked out?" She asked softly

Jack nodded and pulled his son in tight. “When you told me you were taking the fall for Tyler, I told you that was stupid and I didn’t want to hear any whining from you ever again…. It should be obvious but I don’t mean that with this…. How are you both holding up?” He asked him, taking a seat and sighing quietly at the state carmen was in.

Jon shook his head. “He’s been dealing on the side and not sharing the profits. He also kicked someone else out last year for doing exactly that. And he’s been ignoring the head charters orders for months.” He told her “so Jackson and I made a phone call.” He told her

Alex gave him a small nod before taking a deep breath "I'm trying to keep it togethere for her sake." He admits as they walked into the room "She won't eat....sleeps all day...she collapsed at home from her lack of eating." He explained before taking a deep breath to compose himself "It was mom...she....she gave him her fucking medicine to get him to sleep."

Max gave a frown and nodded softly "Well that makes sense." She murmured beforr buckling up in the passengers seat "You think he'll go quietly?"

Jack sighed heavily and sat down with him. “Club making sure you two are looked after?” He asked him and nodded when he said yes, just sitting with him a while longer.

Carmen had woken up late again, always in bed these days since she’d left her job at the salon, not able to face people anymore and spending most of her time high as a kite, getting her drugs off Tyler still. She was curled up across Alex’s lap at the club though now as they were at the first club party they’d been to since losing Leo.

Jon sat with Ana on his lap, bouncing her gently and grinning at her excited squeals. “Oh you like that huh?” He chuckled, looking up when max got back with a drink each for them. “There’s our favorite person.” He cooed when she immediately reached for max, making grabby hands. “Dads boring now huh? Soon as I finish this one we can head home.” He promised max seeing how sleepy she looked.

Alex rubbed the top of Carmen's bavk sighing heavily as he sipped at his beer. Things were getting worse between the two of them. Carmen barely spoke to him and pushed him away anytime he tried to do anything with or for her. She'd started eating a bit, but still not a healthy amount and he was terrified that he'd come home to her corpse sooner rather than later.

Max came over with two drinks smiling widely at Jon and Ana. She had fallen head over heels for the two of them by now. She laughed lightly as Ana reached for her smiling wide "Come here precious." She murmured after she put her drink down "Of course she loves me more." She teased before yawning a bit. Her job had been running her to the ground lately and this was the first time in a bit that she had with Jon for an extended amount of time.

Carmen frowned a little, resting her head back and glanced up at him. “When do you leave for the run tomorrow?” She asked him quietly. She wasn’t sure if he knew about her drug use, part of her figured he knew but didn’t care and the other part was sure he still had no clue.

Jon smiled and watched them both tiredly. “Don’t have too much fun while I’m on that run tomorrow.” He told her smiling tiredly. “Cause I’ll be back before you know it then you got me all weekend long.” He promised, kissing her cheek once she sat down.

Alex frowned softly as he looked at her giving a heavy sigh "I gotta leave around 8." He murmured before stroking her cheek gently. He knew something was wrong, but he didn't know exactly what. He had no clue though that she had started down the path of addiction.

Max laughed lightly before giving him a quick kiss "Mmm you be careful." She murmured before turning her attention to Ana who was currently chewing on her fist "Do you taste good or something?"

She nodded tiredly, taking his hand and playing with his fingers until it was time for them to leave, getting up carefully and having to grab his arm to balance herself, then leaning on him to walk out of there.

Jon nodded to Alex as they moved past him and max, frowning a little at the state of carmen. “You think he knows?” He asked max a little while later as they were getting ready to leave, taking Ana into his arms while they walked to the car, smiling a little as she was falling asleep on his shoulder.

Max frowned as they started walking to the car later that evening shaking her head some "You would think after being around us so long he would see the signs. I don't think he realises." She murmured before kissing him gently as they got settled in the car.

Alex took Carmen home with him and sighed heavily as she went up to bed. He made sure the house was locked up before he made his way to her.

Carmen frowned some as she felt the bed dip next to her, rolling over to face him and sighed a little. “You be safe tomorrow for me.” She mumbled, reaching over and holding his hand.

Jon shrugged and got in, heading home with her. “Apparently not. Im a little hesitant to get involved though…. Not really my place just in case he does know.” He shrugged again

Alex nodded giving her a small smile "I will I promise." He murmured before kissing her nose gently "Lets get some sleep." He said quietly trying to sleep but he was worried about leaving her alone.

Max nodded softly giving his hand a squeeze "Yeah, sadly its not our place." She said softly

Carmen was up long before Alex, sat in the kitchen with a coffee that had gone cold half an hour ago and a cigarette in hand staring out the window when he came down. “Morning… your mother phoned me.” She told him quietly. “I didn’t realise it was her cause she’s got a new number…. She called me to tell me to drop the charges and that I’m being selfish by taking her away from you like this.” She told him slowly.

Jon got them home and Anna settled then headed up to bed with max, holding her close all night long, into the early morning when he finally woke up to his alarm. “I’ll be back soon as I can.,.. promise.” He murmured as he had felt maxs grip tighten on his arm

Alex came downstairs the next morning going straight to the coffee pot to pour himself a cup. He frowned as he listened to his wife and shook his head a bit making his way over to her "Don' t listen to her. I'll take her for every fucking dime she has. Did you block the new number?" He asked quietky as he sat down.

Max whined softly as his alarm went off early that morning. Her grip tightened as he tried to get out of the bed frowning and not opening her eyes "Not without kisses." She murmured before puckering her lips for a quick kiss

She just nodded and glanced over at him, smiling a little “Babe you got toothpaste in your stubble.” She told him, licking her thumb and wiping it off for him. “I’m just gonna be here or at the club today. Jackson has said if i want it I could come back and work the bar again… less stress about who im working with.” She mused.

He groaned a bit and shook his head. “Jesus babe morning breath.” He muttered, pecking her cheek instead and got up to get ready, going to check in on Ana as well then headed out.

Alex chuckled quietly and thanked her for the help before nodding softly "That sounds great babe. I think that'll be really good for you." He murmured happy to see she might be making some progress.


Max rolled her eyes a bit before she sat up "Oh not like yours is any better." She teased before she got up and went to use the restroom

She just nodded a little. “I just… I think I need this court date to come and go and hopefully that’ll help.” She mumbled, pulling her hoodie around her more, moving to kiss his cheek. “Be safe okay?” She mumbled before he left.

He just nodded and chuckled, sending her a kiss face text as he got on his bike and headed out to the club for the run

Alex gave her a nod before taking the last sip of his coffee "Yeah I think it could help us get some closure." He murmured before giving her a quick kiss "Always am beautiful. You call me if you need anything."

Max smiled softly when she got up and went to check on Ana. She laughed lightly seeing her in an odd position for sleeping. She got the baby monitor and went downstairs to start on some food for Ana.

Carmen just nodded and frowned, watching him go, sighing quietly as the silence of the house immediately became too much. It was different when Leo was at daycare, it was peaceful… now it was a painful reminder. She made her way upstairs to grab her stash and then back to the kitchen to escape again.

Jon got out there, meeting Alex once he arrived. “Hey, didn’t realise you were joining us… max was wanting to know if you guys would come over for dinner? I told her it’s probably still a little much with Ana and everything but let me know if you wanna do it.” He told him before all of the club headed out to their warehouee
