SCHOOL LOCK-IN [Inactive]

Hubert calmed down a bit and noticeed that Chase was trying to catch his breath. "Okay. Sorry, I thought she'd brought you out on another exploration." He paused. "Wait, why would she go after Mike? Does he need help or-" The realization sunk in. "Oh." He grabbed Chase's arm, trying to provide support. "Dude, don't kill yourself."

Hubert sighed and spun Chase around to face him. "Listen. If you get yourself killed going after her, how do you think Mandi will feel?" A flash of sorrow crossed his eyes. "I understand if you love her, but sometimes....sometimes it's better to just stay out of the way." He let go of Chase and sat, looking sadder than anyone had ever seen him in a long time. The memories he'd tried to hide away for so long had resurfaced, and it hurt.

Chase stopped struggling. The pain on his friend's face was painfully evident. He sat down next to Hubert.

They sat in silence for sometime.

"You alright man? Because... I get it. It may not look like it... but I-..." he winced in pain. "... I do."

Hubert cracked a smile. "It's not really what most people would think." His voice trailed off as he stared at the wall. "Although, I've never actually talked about it." He sighed and looked at Chase. It was a hard decision, did he say what he'd sworn never to say?

Chase shifted his weight off of his wounded leg. He hurt real bad right now, but he knew that emotional pain hurt just as bad, if not more, than physical pain. He had to keep it together. For Hubert.

"I get you. Well... Whatever it is... Just know that you can always tell me. I've dealt with some sh*t in my life and the last thing I'll do is judge."

Hubert smiled. "Thank you." He leaned against the wall, though he kept his eyes open in case the killer came up. "My older sister was...a great person. It's not like being in love, although I'd guess it's the closest I'll ever get to that." He looked at Chase's leg. "It's kind of hard to explain...but should we move? Out of the halls at least?"

Chase grimaced. "Well... I'm still worried sick about Mandi... But there's nothing we can do at this point. That sounds good." He rolled onto his stomach in order to push himself up with his hands.

Hubert chuckled. "Yeah...Here, go ahead and lean on me." He stood and offered his hand to Chase in case he needed help getting up.

Mandi goes into a room and gets locked in. Se bangs on the door for help. Suddenly. The black figure appears in the window, outside of the door, she frantically takes out the Walkie talkie. She runs to the back of the room and realizes she's in the auditorium. Out of breath "guys.....anyone.. Please answer"

Mandi grabs a prop pole front the stage and breaks the window on the back door. Some of the glass cuts my forehead. I ignore it. Reach through the hole and open the door and run out

"Do you think we'd be safe here? What if..." She thought about what she was going to say then changed her mind "Nevermind." She bit her cheek which is a habit of hers whenever she's nervous or scared.

(Haven't been on for a bajillion days! sorry guuysss!!!)

Mandi screams into the walkie, "Please, anybody" She races back up the stares, the giant bruise form earlier begging her to stop along with the fresh cuts from the glass along her face, she darts to A.P. Physiology and see Mike on the floor, she crys out and runs to him, she kneels by him and touches his cold body, she murmers to herself "Why do I keep having to do this to people" as she slaps him across the face

Sanaa

I connect to Mandi over the talkie. "kay, Mandi? You hear me?" I keep tabs on her through the compute ring while monitoring the figure. "I'm setting of some small alarms to try and move the figure, but I can't really do that until you move. Try and get the guys to help carry him for you. They're there, right? We'll treat him here. Bring his rucksack, too!"

her voice comes through very scratchy, she holds the walkie to her ear, "The guys!? they're back at the library" She looks around the hallway and feel like she's being watched. She not sure if its real of if she is just paranoid

Sanaa

I struggle to remain calm as my mind races through the options. "Okay, you have time. the gun guy has retreated to the basement. He's roaming through rat poisons, so that's definitely not good, but for now it is. Do you want me to send Hubert out?" I ask. I was hesitant- i didn't want to put two people in danger, and I needed to stay here 'cause I don't know if anyone else could hold the coding and keep the cameras up.

The fuzz gets louder and louder, she hears send help and says "No" unsure if Sanaa herd. She can barely hear any voices

A stinging pain brought Michael's eyes rolling lazily open. His head and chest were pounding. He could see a figure above him. It took several moments for his eyes to adjust. But there was no doubting who it was.

"Mandi?" he croaks.

"Thank god" she let's out a huge exhale. She leans of frantically looking over Michael. Her hair falls into his face as she checks for other wounds. While looking at you some blood from her cut above her eyebrow drops to the ground but she doesn't have time to notice. "We need to get you out of here. Can you walk." She slowly gets up and extends a hand to you

Michael's heart fluttered -- just for a moment -- as Mandi's hair fell across his face. He jolted into a sitting position, taking her offered hand and standing up. He looked down at the backpack still strapped to his chest he frowned before feeling around on the front of the ruck. Sure enough, he felt a small hole where the bullet had entered, only to be stopped inside one of the books within. He smiled despite himself.

He nodded suddenly, taking a look over either shoulder. "Yeah, I'm fine. Let's get out of here." He leaned down to pick up the blade.

She turns off the blare of her Walkie talkie and they are in total silence. She walks

Very slowly due to her own hidden injury
