He kissed the top of her head and smiled. He left the room and went to the roof where he found Leo. "Why? Why are you doing this! What did she do to deserve this! Isn't about time you messed with me!" He yelled. Calliden and Lucinda watched from the shadows as Leo laughed.

"Idiot. Because she's the stronger of you two. If I really want to push this to it's absolute limit she's the one who must be broken not you."

Suddenly Conner was being dangled from his rooftop. "Quite the drop. It won't kill you... Well not immediately anyway. I wonder how your slow painful death would make feel. I feel like if might break her." He threw Connor back on the roof. "But no. As bad a person as I am. I'm not a killer. If I want someone dead I manipulate someone else to do the deed, or convince them to do it themselves."

Calliden grabbed and hugged her. "Lucinda we attack another God here and now you know we won't be allowed to stay with those two." He said. As gently as he tried to be she could feel his pointed claws. He wanted more than anything to fight too.

Conner hopped off the roof. It was fine because he knew exactly where to land not to get hurt. The bushes. Right outside the kitchen window. Lilly heard the crunching of branches.

Connor came through the window nimbly. He spent so much time talking video games and nerdy stuff sometimes it was easy to forget how athletic he was.
