It is many years into the future, the 30th century. Crystal Tokyo flourished under the reign of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. Life was good, fun, and free of youma.


A true utopia.


Both inner and outer senshi took up their respective titles as Queens of their planets, while remaining in Crystal Tokyo as Neo Queen Serenity's advisors and guardians. Only Setsuna Meioh, Sailor Pluto, took up her station at the Door of Space-Time again and remained in solitude.


Over time children were born to the inner, and outer senshi, and were raised all alongside each other together with the second child to Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion.


All the while Small Lady Serenity, with her court Sailor Ceres, Sailor Vesta, Sailor Juno, and Sailor Pallas, were being groomed to soon take up their next title as they came of age.


But one day, when all the Queens, Kings, and Heirs were gathered in the palace, a loud crash was heard. The Queens and Kings ordered the princes and princesses to stay inside the safe Crystal Palace. Feeling uneasy Small Lady Serenity and her four guardians too left the palace, promising them that they would return soon.


Soon never came.


The threat that raged against the Earth and it's beautiful capital city was too great for them to deal with.


They were not strong enough.


Sailor Juno, Ceres, Vesta, and Pallas were robbed of their Sailor Crystals before the Small Lady’s very eyes. As the darkness closed in on them, the remaining senshi all gave up their powers to prevent the darkness from taking those too. This sealed away the castle and individually hid the Heart Crystals of each of the children. As a result the heirs became trapped in crystals where they would remain in ageless slumber till their Heart Crystals would return to them.

Fifty years have passed since that fateful day. The world has been taken over by a new imperium, and the people slowly forgot about their perfect world and beautiful ruler. The only reminder being the large crystal structure in the center of the city.


Inside Sailor Pluto has been looking vigilantly to find where each of the Heart Crystals were sent to. At long last she may have found the first ones and is bringing them home.


It will be up to them to take up the task their mothers left behind and save the world, whether they succeed, or fail.

History

Year 1 after arrival - The Dark Empire arrived on Earth. Though the battle was fierce, it didn't last long, and soon the Earth was under their control. Neo Queen Serenity, Princess Small Lady Serenity, and the queen's Court gave up their powers and their lives to close off the palace with the Princes and Princesses inside. As a result, the Silver Crystal has vanished.


Year 5 - Almost all areas in the kingdom have been secured and people are falling back into a natural order and rhythm. The counting of the years has officially been changed, making this the 5th year of the new count. The new Imperium still can not access the Palace. The Heirs are presumed to be dead as no one has seen them for five years.


Year 7 - Resistance groups, lead by Ryuu Tsukino, are starting to emerge. An extensive search has gone out to find the origin of these outbursts.


Year 10 - The Resistance has been getting more and more publicity and positive response from the general public. The Imperium has dealt with these usurpers with a firm hand, and making public examples out of those that are caught. The popularity has dwindled severely.


Year 12 - Shin Tsukino is born.


Year 19 - The Imperium has found the origin of the rebel base. They seem to be using the five Crystal Points at the tips of the star shaped city for a variety of activities. The Imperium resorts to massacres, nearly wiping out the entire Resistance. The Dark Imperium and its associates can't use nor enter the Crystal Points, so they set up parameters around the Crystal Points to keep it in their control. The remaining members of the Resistance have taken hiding in the Catacombs below the city.


Year 37 - Most of the people have forgotten about how it was under the rule of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. After years of silence the Resistance has finally returned, ready for battle.


Year 42 - By the year 42 the Resistance has almost liberated one of the five districts in Crystal Tokyo.


Year 48 - The south-western point of the star shaped city has been secured by the Resistance. As a counter measure each of the Great Four has taken one of the remaining four points for themselves to guard over.


Present Day - The Heirs are about to wake up. The Resistance is still in control of the south-western district, but they haven't been able to make much progress into liberating the rest of the city.
