Saga of the Seven Sins - The Second Cycle

Frankly in my case I find it hard to just "join" the party as it is, I would not have a plausible reason to antagonize the canon Solars just yet, and not knowing anything about the group, don't see myself joining just out of curiosity, on top of that dealing with a potential tyrant won't suit Saif well, and probably lead to friction early in any interaction. I'll try to think of some other approach, or maybe making some tweaks to the character (or make a new one altogether), but as it its right now just popping to say hi and join the team feels terribly forced.

Plus, you'd have to show you were Exalted for us to care, and Opal isn't in a Solar befriending mood. ( ;) )

Hell, the Sidereals don't really have a reason to help us, either, beyond idle curiosity and problems with authority.

You could always just steal Greed without anyone noticing and force us to try to get it back from you. You are an E5 Night, it's not like anyone could stop you. ( :P )

True. If there's anything I can do backstory-wise to help either integrate your current character or a new one, don't hesitate to ask. If you can think of a reason I might know you and have a specific kind of relationship in mind I'll probably go with it. Trust, friendship, grudging respect, rivalry, life debt, old flame, etc etc could make your life easier.

Cool, thanks for the offer, I'll think of something up and get back to you, if you also have any ideas feel free to send them my way and we'll work them out.

It's a bit tough because you're so young and your Essence has increased so fast. Whatever it was, it must have been extremely recent. Perhaps I lost a fight with a Sidereal (Maybe Righteous Tsuniami kicked my ass, since canon characters are a thing ( :P )) and you intervened to get me out before they could kill me? I'm not sure why you would, though. Either you'd happened upon us the moment it looked like some mortal was standing over an incapacitated woman about to murder them and very quickly discovered that wasn't the case, or you knew two Exalts were fighting and decided to step in at the last moment before one died. I'm not sure who Saif would favour between a Lunar and a Sidereal, or if he would know what was going on at all/what a Sidereal is. If you did save me, I owe you a life debt, and Lunars take that pretty seriously. It isn't enforced in my tattoo like it would be for another Lunar, but the principle is the same.

If you've ever needed any help from the Guild, or a part thereof, or even a Scavenger Lord, that gives you a good opening to have history with Viktor. But yeah, showing up unannounced right now... probably not the best idea.
I'll say okay to the extra 5 general charms, which only include excellencies and not their high essence enhancers. If you want me to move to the next scene, let me know.
Any chance I can convince you to reconsider including all general charms? Otherwise we're forced to spend 10 charms on Excellencies, and to be honest most people don't pick up more than 1 excellency for each main ability they'll use, at most I'll be getting 7 or 8 excellencies for different abilities, but that will still leave me with 2 or 3 charms that otherwise I'll probably never use.

Nice on the xp.

Seeker, this seems like a place where I want to make use of my Spies background. Could I have some people watching the arena from outside, with my dematerialized demons to run (hopefully untraceable) messages from them to me on the inside?
Renost's opponents are probably going to have a bad day. ( :P )

Corrected to reflect future tactics.

God Ways OP.

Haha, there's an Essence 6 Lunar in the running. I don't think even God Ways can save a mortal from that.

Speaking of the E6 Lunar, I must know them. There can't be more than 50 Lunars in the E6+ Club, and I've been to my fair share of Silver Pact meetings. If we're contemporaries we've almost certainly heard of each other, at the very least. If the armour doesn't disguise them, do I know who it is and what they're generally about?

I also find it amusing that if anyone else has the same unerring Fate sense we do, their attention is apparently drawn to a mundane housecat with a disproportionately important destiny.

He's not 'technically' part of the Silver Pact, he's more of a lone wolf for both personal reasons and he fact that he's wielding arguably the most powerful daiklaves in existence. If you got more successes on your roll you might have been able to identify him through his weapon, which scares the shit out of literally everybody who knows what it is.

Edit: Only Viktor knows of the Lunar and the Fire-Aspect's existence right now.

Okay. A Lunar entering what is apparently a tournament for mortals might intrigue me enough to wander down and find out who they are. We'll see.

In case it helps, I do have a Charm for perfect recall of anything I've ever experienced. If I had ever heard of this weapon, even in passing, it only costs me a mote to recall it perfectly as if I were reliving the moment it happened.

@WarDragon How did your encounter with Jade though? Just making sure so we don't get our ideas mixed up and confused.
I figure I've probably met her and her Circle a couple of times. The first time, I got cocky, and that't why I have a prosthetic heart now. After that, they proved evenly matched with my Infernal Coven, with each group trying to catch members of the other alone, darting at shadows, but no conclusive fights. More recently, Viktor and Opal encountered Jade (and maybe one or two of her less fighty allies) in Chiaroscuro, and stomped her into the ground, only for something else to distract us long enough for her to slip away and lick her wounds. Viktor is seriously regretting now that he didn't take the time to hunt her down.

And that Lunar... yikes. I think I'm not going to make a move on him until he's worn down a bit.
