Ethan, nodded his head slowly. She had accepted his apology, but why had she not spoken up yet? Given from her nervous body language and her uncertainness aproaching him, she was a very shy individual and would not open up to him. He had been the same way for years, he would know. Not wanting to worsen the situation, he slid a leg over the side of the boat and stepped in. He sat down and took his notebook out, continuing his drawing. He began to quietly sing to himself as well, a song he had heard back in Vale.

"There's a point where it tips, there's a point where it breaks......" Despite being quiet in volume, competing with the sounds of the forest, it still sounded amazing to anyone near him and the boat.

Ethan kept glancing up every so often, keeping his peripherals on his surroundings while he sat and drew in the boat. With everyone just standing out in the open like this, there was even more of a chance that they could be ambushed by a flock of Grimm, so he kept his eyes out and open in constant awareness. He looked back down and realized that his drawing was already completed and he was just adding unnecessary scribbles to the shadows of the trees. It made the black and white forest in his little pad look darker, and more menacing than what he initially started drawing it for. 'I guess I could keep it,' he thought to himself, still glancing around. The others were just standing around the boats, a few actually hopping into some. He saw the teleporter land in one of the boats.

(I will revive this rp! I will!)

"Yea. Come along ginger and trap queen." the so called 'blondie' spoke, motioning for the two to follow as she demurely entered the boat that would be taking them across the river/ lake/ocean. Hopefully the test would slow to a stop after they crossed the seemingly harmless river. Brushing a strand of spiky blond hair from her hair, a slender fingers clasped about the wooden row of the boat rather impatiently.

(I have returned also~! ^u^)

Sweat streaked the blonde pale forehead, hefty inhalations of air bursting from her lips as she relaxed against the hard, though refreshingly cool metal of the assembly chairs. The test was finally over - thank god - and now the real action would begin. The chatter of the student body about her registered in Linnae's ears, but at the moment she was too tired to attempt to make conversation with a bunch of strangers. Why not the two (maybe) friends beside her? Tapping the red-head she now knew as 'ginger' (@Metaphysics ) over here?"

Her playful jabs were quieted as an older, rather handsome man took the stage. He wore glasses upon his expressionless face, his hair a green streaked with the greying of age. Something about him screamed authority, so Linnae allowed her body to point in his direction as she quieted. Right along with her, the rest of the room fell quiet. And he begin to speak.

"Welcome, freshmen of Beacon Academy. You've passed the initiation test, but that's not the only test that lies in your future. Teamwork is a virtue strongly encouraged by our academy, the very moral that encourages us to create teams within our school. These teams will be of the people you will associate yourself with in a daily basis. They will know you, know your powers better then anybody else. These will be made up of people who either meet your skill level or of whom we think will balance you."

He paused then, and Linnae restlessly shifted as she mentally wished for him to get on with his speech so the teams would be announced.

Anise pulled her hood down and rested slicer on her lap. She leaned back on her chair and softly sighed in relief as the test was finally over. As much as she loves fighting and training in the forest, things were getting very hectic and she was somewhat glad that it was over. She looked at the Headmaster as she starts to announce the team members. She smiled excitedly, she wondered who will be on the team and who will be their leader. She hummed as she watched. She wonder if Erika will be on her team. They did work well together.

@ValkyrieRose (are you still interested?)

(huh...never got the replies for this. standby and i will edit this post with my reply shortly

Edit: okay doone. I suggest in the future thos that have not replied should get messaged, in case this crap happens again... no really, its ok. prod me. I never randomly lave rps so its always a chance that this happened. We also need to get the OOC going again if we haven't aleady)

Upon reaching the other side, Erika almost melted in with the crowd... in truth, she was staning against a wall, watching the proceedings. It seemed to be just a standard welcome message, and she was surprised that they weren't issuing out the team orders already- she half expected the boat ride to be a coverup for their trying to get eveything situated.

She would get through this no matter who she paired up with... but a slight portion of her hoped to get the human girl...Anise was it? She felt like Anise was already a strong warrior, willing to learn from others. and that in and of itself was a unique power. The worst case scenario was that she be paired with that Grim fanatic... they would definatly get into more fights... still, fate's wheel always turned, and she accepted the results, as she should.

Saphir stood amongst the crowd of Beacon students after getting through the test, watching the initiates coming in long after him. With a sigh Saphir brushed his left hand over his hair, a habit he had developed since coming to Beacon. Never before had he worried over his ears showing but he did now feel somewhat self-conscious about for some unspoken reason. Standing up from his previously crouching position he rose up to his full six-foot three, and reached his arms up in long stretch letting out a yawn that ended in a deep rumbling roar. Surprised by the sound Saphir clamped his mouth shut, though the surprise still showed on his face. Seeing only one odd look from a boy a few feet away Saphir just smiled and shrugged before quickly finding himself a new spot near a girl that seemed somewhat anxious to see what he teams would be. Saphir couldn't pretend he was excited, or was it anxious? Either way he felt ready to know who he'd be with, silently hoping that it wouldn't be with anyone too annoying.

Ambre quietly stood among the other initiates of Beacon, her face was expressionless as she stood near the back, her eyes flickering over the other students briefly before focusing on the speaker on stage, quickly tuning out everyone else's quiet chatter since she could tell that his presence demanded attention. She took note of his tone and how distant and monotone he sounded when he spoke, curiosity pricked her but she immediately shook it off, her eyes began to wander and started picking out the fauni from the humans in the group of initiates so she would know who to keep even more distance from. Her eyes stopped on a blonde male and she tilted her head a bit as she studied him for a moment longer before looking away at the others.

As soon as Ethan, the Faunus with him, and two random strangers cleared the river in their boat, he faded into the crowd of initiates walking along to the academy. He noticd the rows of chairs in front of a large stage, probably for some sort of induction ceremony. Ethan noticed several of the seats in the back were empty, so he took a seat in the far right corner in the back. He noticed above all the heads of the initiates the man walking onto the stage. He looked emotionless, like he was just going through the motions of the ceremony. Ethan partially zoned out, but was brought back into reality after one line.

"Teamwork is a virtue strongly encouraged by our academy, the very moral that encourages us to make teams within our school. These teams will be of the people you will associate yourself with on a daily basis. They will know you, know your powers better than anybody else. These will be made up of people who either meet your skill level or of whom we think will balance you." Ethan now felt a small sense of fear. He expected the team aspect, but the way this man worded the team system made it sound like his partners would have read every little detail about him. He shuddered a bit and gripped the sides of the chair he was seated on, feeling the cold metal against his warm and sweaty hands.

Ambre sat a few seats away from Ethan, her arms were crossed and her gaze sharp as she focused on those around her, a scowl permanently resting on her pale slim face. Most people would wonder why such a pretty young woman like herself would have a scowl like she had on her face but they would get the cold shoulder from her. She wasn't one to hang out or affiliate herself with others, especially since her scowl became deeper at the mention of them being split into teams. She didn't want to have to associate with anyone, especially if she didn't want too.

(It'd be for the best, maybe have someone run it that'll force plot continuation and keep people balanced)

Wazzuuuuuuuuuuuup!!!!
