No,Veir and I engineered this fixed scenario for a reason; We want drama,but we want it to unfold organically. It is indeed a suspicious situation,but all anyone would have would be hunches. How would Ebony act on a hunch? Use that as your stepping stone. From there,the RP should flow like water.

....It would have been nice if you had told me before hand... Anyways I have the art thief to still deal with because she called be a thing.. And I honestly doubt it will flow that smoothly because honestly I can't think of any other way to answer now other then have the teachers intervene and immediately throw Lazuli, Alabaster, Ebony and Sharon together as a team and not in that order.

But why would they intervene anyway? What they did, technically, is not against any rules, and if anything it shows more the type of fighters they are to Ozpin, calculating and tactical, even if it means organising their own events.


Besides, outside of their own pieces, the other pieces are just harder to find now.

I actually think that the instructors would be smirking. The Grimm don't abide by any rules. Criminals and terrorists don't,either. All the initiates were given was an objective,but not any restrictions on how to get it done,besides one relic to a pair at the very end of the test,and you're partnered with whoever you look at first. I'm of the honest belief that this sort of situation was planned for by the staff,and is a viable and accepted solution; Hunters need to be able to think ahead. They need to be able to pick their most advantageous plan in the midst of the chaos of battle.


What we saw in the show? One possible solution; Energetic,talented combatants who excel in short-term planning and the ability to adapt.


What Alabaster and Lazuli are up to shows a more strategic,long term approach to the Hunter's Trade. Something that Pyrrha displays in the show,keeping her powerful Semblance secret for use as a trump card.
