OkGrieveWriter said:As I said, either way this arc can't end until Kaiju Kong has been defeated. And with the Ancient Creep backing it up it is supposed to be a vigorous boss fight for this arc. And yes, all the current teams including Argen are now in the large room which holds the relics meaning that all the current teams will be taking on Kaiju Kong.
okay, I'm going to wait to see if @Jeda Teq or @theunderwolf to think off an ideaamdreams said:To be fair, Lazuli did introduce both her and Teal. Even if the latter was wrong. But yeah, we should wait for Teal.
It's fate one could say@amdreams[/URL] has pointed out a couple of times, Team HAWT is made of cool colors (blue, purple, teal, green)
So far, both of our team names are opposed to our color schemes. And that is kind of really funny to me? That we planned our team names completely separately and this still happened?
Hmmm... How about bringing the entire castle on top of him?amdreams said:Hm . . . If the Kaiju Kong has the same strengths as an actual gorilla, then going in close with a full frontal is definitely out of the question.
Being that it outweighs us immensely, and the fact that its center of gravity is low to the ground, it's not going to be easy to simply knock it over or off balance, so that should not be our main plan.
Its attacks are definitely going to be powerful, probably a power-based fighting style. It'll act more on instinct than actual planning, so it'll be faster in terms of reaction time and it will show no hesitation.
And gorillas are generally more robust that humans so it'll most likely be able to soak up a considerable amount of damage.
Seeing as half the room is pretty much destroyed, we don't have much if we want to use the environment to our advantage. And I want to avoid using the pillars or anything we've already done, mainly for originality's sake. We definitely have to be smart about this. We're not facing this thing off in a power conflict because that would be stupid. Hm . . . If I have any ideas, I'll put them up but for now, I don't have any.
I know Warzii froze the collapsing part of the roof to restore it. What say we blow it the hell up? A bit of fire dust, something to trigger it, and boom, the roof comes crashing down on it. Once it's there, it might be easier.theManCalledSting said:Hmmm... How about bringing the entire castle on top of him?
The bit of dust thing was kind of more of a literary underestimation. I mean, in a way, as Hunters, the character are supposed to kill Grimm. How would not finishing this one off reflect on our characters as potential Hunters and Huntresses?amdreams said:It's going to take more than just a bit of dust. Considering how big the castle may be and how much it needs to be to actually kill the thing rather than just injure it. Hm . . . Wait. Do we even need to kill it? Can't we just immobilize it enough to escape?
Right! Sorry, it's been a bit since I watched the show, I'll admit. xD .amdreams said:Because we're just students and that thing would kill us? Even in the show, the original plan was to run, wasn't it? Until it got to the point where they had no choice but to fight. Not that I'm saying we need to follow the show. Just that it is an option.
Knowing my team... we're going to fight it aren't we.... @theunderwolf @Jeda Teq @Ian TemeroGrieveWriter said:Fleeing Kaiju Kong is definitely an option, but as a Gorrila it wouldn't have much trouble giving chase towards the largest concentration of students.
