• "Nope, you're early! Just me and Data here." She gave Tealiose a playful nudge. "Ok, like, what did you do to yourself this time? How are you supposed to make a nice piece of man candy to accessorize my stunning beauty or whatever if you give yourself a new scar every two days?" Her tone was playful, but her eyes showed concern. She had often found herself chastising Argen for pushing himself too hard. She made a note to send that tiny mouse Faunus, Ivory, after him. Rumor was that girl could even get Aqua to stop being stubborn. "Grab a seat, my stunning knight in shining armor, we're like, trying to figure out what to do with our day!"

She waved Herb over. "Are you talking to us, or did you spot your reflection in a mirror or something?" She teased him. His ego was fun to poke fun at. Then she noticed he was alone. "Did Lazulii not come with you? Did you not bring Lazuli?" Hansi slapped herself internally. Of course Herb didn't make Lazuli come. He was kind of terrified of the girl.

She pulled out her phone and sent the small girl another text, in case something had gotten lost in communication, talking all the while. "I cannot believe you forgot the cutest member of Team HAWT- no offense, Data."

To Chotte Don: Yo! Team HAWT and MSMA meet up for lunch, leader's orders! Come shove Herb's food in his face because he didn't wait up for you.

"Well, I didn't wanna force Lazuli to do anything, since, well, she scares the fucking hell out of me." he said, he sat down opposite her "So, what the hell have you been doing?"

Nyx slams her book shut (after putting a bookmark in, of course). She stands up and sighs, and looks toward her teammates. "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to go out. At least I'm caught up with all of my work, though. It would suck if I had to stay here because I wasn't," she says, with a smirk at Aqua-Marie after the last comment. Serves her right for making them all clean up the cafeteria that one time.

"Wow, are you deaf? I finished my homework! I'm a free gal!" Aqua shouted into Nyx's ear.

"We're gonna have a girls night out on the town!"

Teal looked to Hansi as she freaked out realizing he did not wear his goggles all the time, and his weird outfit. Teal however still had his goggles. His shades had odd bumps on the top furthest side that looked almost like buttons. They were. Teal was still wearing high tech eyewear, amazingly he had multiple pairs of glasses that did this. Question was why. "I felt casual would work better for the day so I changed, because you know I wear the same outfit everyday, I mean I rarely ever wash my stuff I just let it rot on me like Herb." Teal says sarcastically as she asked why he did not bring his friends he shook his head and pushed his shades up even though they were up. "My friends are an odd group of people that you do not want to meet, just look at me who do you think I am friends with." He meant for her to think he had weird nerdy friends like himself however his friends were nothing of the sort, a pair of flirtatious twins that hit on any girl they saw and were always fighting each other and a massive lazy guy. He also had a creepy small guy who never ceased to stop smiling. By smiling he meant a satanic evil smile.

Teal's friends showed that he was only human though. One of them was a wicked nice guy who was actually going to try to become a hunter, the other two were released from jail recently being watched by the creepy smile guy. Teal really did not want his group to talk to his friends. He just wanted slowly bond with them and not have his friends steal the show. Teal looked as many others came up. He looked to Herb "Good to know I freak you out...because I am clearly a bear in disguise." Teal says pushing his glasses up again a hex pattern glimmering in the sun for a second before dissipating away into the tint. He totally did not hack into their phone conversation.

  • "Well, they can't be any weirder than you! I'm still, ya know, not sure if you're actually even, like, human? Still like, 66 percent certain you're a robot or something. At least I know what Argen's face looks like now, or something." She told Tealiose in response to his mysterious comments, her head shaking. Him and his mysterious bad boy attitude.

Teal's bear comment earned him a sharp smack to the shoulder. "Don't be creepy, Teal. You know he kinda frightens easily." The smack was a playful one, but it might have still stung. She wasn't sure. "And, Herb. They're our teammates, and they're like, the best ones we could have landed at this school. No offense to you or your own teammates and stuff, Argen."

She paused for a moment at Herb's question. "Well. My recital went well, but I'm nervous to get my results... but something kinda weird happened later. Do any of you guys know anything about this gang called the Rhythm Riders?" she was genuinely curious to see if they were as much common knowledge as Maroon had claimed.

"Also, Argen, do you know if Sova and Migz are actually coming?"

@Bullet Tooth Tony @theManCalledSting @TheGoldenGear

"None taken." Argen responds with a smirk when she talks about his teammates. It was rare and far in between that Argen could be seen smiling but it was happening a little more often with Hansi and Saffron in the area. Not that Argen would ever admit it. The knight pulls up a chair besides Herb and takes a seat next to him. When Hansi comments about his injuries he ACTUALLY plays back with her. "And here I thought scars were supposed to add character. Heheh. Worry not Hansi. This won't turn into new scars. I'm made of stronger mettle than that." The knight glances at his wrapped up hands and nods to himself. They weren't gonna scar him. Probably. "Rough Riders? If you mean the strangers in the blue clothing that like to cause havoc then yes. I've sent a fair number of them to the hospital already. Claimed I was 'in their territory' or something of that nature."

"I actually do not. They might come. But I wouldn't hold your breath. They seemed to want to pass the day idling about."

Miguel cleans up the practice dummies and looks for a dumpster to put it in.

"Hmm i think i'll just chill at that big shady tree right there after i put this in to a dumpster"

Miguel looks around the campus and finally finds a dumpster.Miguel quickly walks to wards the dumpster and throws all of the practice dummies all at once.

"well that's done time to take a nap beside that tree"

Miguel instead walked to the air ship launchpad and rides an air ship to vale.

"O_____O the hell am i doing here i was suppose to take a nap beside a nice shady tree dafuq"

Lazuli

"Bye old guy. Thanks for the deal." Lazuli walked out of From Dust Til Dawn some lien lighter but with a bag full of dust vials and crystals, nuzzled nicely next to her bracers. She was happy. Not only did she get a good deal on her dust, but she bought a few little . . . extras that may be fun to play with. Mainly some rather small dust crystals, the perfect size to sneak into other things for "good old family friendly fun".

Vale seemed to have some other shops worth noting as well. A book store that actually supplied her comics. A weapon repair shop. A candy store. Some robbed places. Lazuli even found a toy store. She was a bit old for toys sure but she saw the cutest little teddy inside. It was missing an eye and an ear and its fuzz seemed a bit singed in places. So cute. She had spent nearly 15 minutes staring at it in longing before she found herself greatly distressed that she couldn't buy him. She wasn't lacking in money but there was no room in her bag for a new traveler along with all the dust. She promised to come back for it someday, a truly tearful good bye.

Continuing through Vale, the sound of a horror movie scream erupted from her shorts, alarming quite a few passerbys. Lazuli pulled out her scroll to see just another text from Hansi, this time inviting her out to lunch. Well . . . She was hungry she supposed. And if it was just her team, she'd probably be fine with that. However when she had found the lace, there were certainly more strangers than she had thought. Haha nope.

A quick turn of her heels turned her in the direction of the door but another violent scream sounded from her pocket. It was another text from Hansi it seemed, reminding her to drop by. And it turns out she had invited another team. Figuring there was no way out of this at this point, she turned around with a bright smile and strutted to the table. "What's up, losers." Once there, she looked around, spotting Hansi, Herb and a couple of people she couldn't really recognize. "The **** are these guys?" she asked Hansi. Lazuli took another look at Argen, taking a second to study the features of his face. "Damn. Your face got ****** up. Botched facelift? Or you just really good at monster makeup?"

"Well, so long as they don't mess up your pretty face, I can't complain."
she laughed at Argen's joke, secretly elated to see one of his rare smiles. She had noticed he had been a lot less formal with her over the week, but she didn't want to make a point of it. She didn't want to risk him slipping back into her (metaphorical) armor.

She tugged on her flowing blue pants as he discussed his dealing with the Riders. She was starting to feel a little less safe in her blue dance outfit and stage makeup. She had always been able to wander around town in full get up back in Mantle, provided she threw on a cardigan or something over anything too revealing. Here, it might not be so easy, it seemed. Especially when she looked best in blue.

Not that she would say anything.

She pulled out another chair when Lazuli came in, glad to see her. Lazuli was really the only female friend she had, even though she wasn't even sure the girl counted her as a friend. How did one make female friend at a school where a kick to the face was a greeting? "What, you haven't met my entourage yet?" she said with a wink. "And what have I said about being mean to Herb?" she frowned, pretending as if she thought Lazulii's facelift comment had been directed at the blonde, trying to take the sting of the comment off of her Scarred friend. "Nah, this is Argen. He's like... the muscle of Team MSMA, and is like, a total certified badass. Pretty sure he kinda made it through the placement trial without lifting a finger, or some such tall tale nonsense. We were just talking about some gang or other that's been ransacking shops around the city lately. Something about a turf war gone wrong, maybe?"

"Why you gotta be so rude?" he asked, looking over all of them "Am I always gonna be the butts of your guys' jokes?" he asked, "I mean, I'm not that useless, right?" he asked, somehow he knew this was gonna end with sarcasm.

CKM...

While lugging around Amber, and with Maroon following behind trying to look as bored as he possibly could, Citrine led her team through various parts of Vale.

They played several games, one of which involving throwing Amber through the air like a sports ball to see how high they could toss her. And, a personal favorite of Maroon, follow sad looking people around to derive humor from their misfortune. Citrine was mostly involved due to the picture perfection that moments of somberness can produce, with a powerful backdrop and emotions running deep one could find feeling that no studio could replicate. Amber was slung on Citrine's back, still scrolling through messages as she clung to her mentor's back with her legs.

Maroon seemed to be the only one actually finding humor in the scenario, whereas Citrine just wanted the pictures and Amber just all around didn't care, he found himself wishing he had acquired some snacks to go with such entertainment.

Afterwards the trio had gone for snacks, and while Amber had abstained from acquiring edibles the other two still acquired their own.

"We should check out that Orphanage again just to be sure."

"No." Citrine stated plainly "We must draw lines somewhere dearest Maroon, maybe someday I will grow to the point of enduring the pain of the young, but in my current stae my heart might burst!"

"Overdramatic," Maroon said with a roll of his eyes, tilting a bag of dry seeds upward and gnawing on them before holding the bag to his chest again "well what do you suggest we do?"

Before Citrine even spoke he interrupted "No photographs, fashion stores or art at all."

The Photographer folded her arms "You're no fun."

The moment she finished saying that the sounds of shattering glass caught their ears, the trio immediately spotting a crumpled form lying in a sea of broken glass. The form let out some pained laughing, but the smile on its face never ceased. Its clothing seemed cobbled together, and immediately made Citrine have to hold a hand over her stomach to keep it from writhing at the sight of the poor man's apparel.

But Maroon just rolled his eyes as Amber glanced up from her scroll for a second. The window of the building the man had apparently fallen from was lit up by several glowing lights, before two figures leaped out of it.

Two young adults, a man and woman by the looks of them, landed in rolls away from the building. The both of them had various blue accessories, and the girl had glowing roller skates on which she slid on upon landing. Both with dark hair and various make up accessories, the two also sported headphones which were so loud that even the trio could here the music from their side of the street.

The man raised an SMG towards the window just as another laughing character dived out and tackled him to the ground.

It was at that point that Citrine noticed the make-up, both the tackler and the man rolling on the ground had some strange attempt at clown appearances. Smeared make-up and green-dyed hair, besides their street urchin clothing the two looked like they'd taken beatings from someone with makeup strapped to their knuckles.

As the tackler immediately began beating down on the blue man, the girl's roller skates charged up and she dashed towards him before leaping in the air and doing a pirouette kick of all things to dislodge the tackler.

He rolled away for a bit before giggling some more and slinging what could only be a vial of dust from his coat.

As the blue couple moved out of the way of the ensuing explosion, a handful of more blue people and laughing clowns made their way out of the building as well.

Amber, Maroon and Citrine just stared as the once peaceful street was easily replaced with a full on street brawl in seconds.

"Should we... do somezing?"

"Pfft, they ain't wrecking my street." Maroon stated before downing some more dry seeds.

As the brawl went on, it almost seemed like the two sides would continue for a while. That was until two more combatants showed up, a golden haired boy in a white dress shirt and black pants and a lanky, pale looking young man with blue goggles.

Before their eyes, the Gold-head dived into the brawl with quick leg work, sliding under swings and dancing through attacks with seamless dance moves and the occasional pose.

"Suddenly," Maroon blinked before staring at Citrine "the strangest case of Deja Vu."

The Goggle guy took numerous hits, like he wasn't even trying to dodge. For a while he almost seemed to get tossed to and fro from blow after blow, and despite the damage he'd just blindly get up and charge wildly with a lazy smile.

And then he started biting...

Maroon had actually cocked an eyebrow the first time he saw it, a tired Giggler had overshot his swing and allowed the goggle guy to get too close. Immediately Goggle Guy opened his mouth revealing rows upon rows of what could only be shark teeth, and before their eyes sank his teeth directly through the Giggler's Aura.

It was enough to cause the Giggler's laughing to pick up in tempo as Goggle guy yanked him through the air and sent him spiraling across the brawl before the shark-toothed Rhythm Rider stumbled into another fight. This happened time and time again, Goggle guy soaking up damage constantly before instantly breaking through defenses once he got his teeth out.

As this happened, the air was filled with the loud booming tone of what seemed to be cannon fire. Instead, it was merely the sound of the dancing blonde guy's shoes making contact with the enemy. The things looked like regular black dancing shoes, but after several dance moves those things would make contact with an enemy with the force of a wrecking ball, battering back guys that were easily a foot larger than him.

Soon, the majority of Gigglers were writhing on the ground in pained laughter along with a handful of the Rhythm Riders.

Once this was made apparent to the Blonde, he called out to the rest of the Rhythm Riders who immediately began darting off into side streets and alleys. The remaining Gigglers were still coming down from their battle adrenaline as their opponents quite literally danced out of sight.

The Gigglers stumbled about at the sudden loss of combatants before abandoning their comrades as well and giving chase.

And so the trio stared, the only other occupants of the street being the defeated members of each gang. As the flash of Citrine's camera overcame the groans and laughter coming from the defeated, Maroon rolled his eyes before turning and walking again.

"Honestly, these guys must have a thing against subtlety." He muttered "If my research is accurate they do this stuff like once a week at least."

"Zat was superb!" Citrine said as she waved her camera enthusiastically "Ze compliment each others strengths and weaknesses so magnificently for such wild unrestrained individuals!"

Maroon was about to roll his eyes when Citrine grabbed him by the shirt and said "We must follow zem, ze picture perfection tells me so!"

"Fine geez," Maroon said before pushing her off "watching those guys beat each other to the ground should be exciting at least."

"Zen onward!" Citrine said before also giving chase, Maroon and Amber following behind.

Lazuli

"To only do it behind his back?" Lazuli answered Hansi. In actuality, the team leader most likely said not to, or at least not as much, but that was no fun. Of course Lazuli would never do it behind someone's back. Especially when doing it to their face was so much more fun. Even now, she was having a ball at how Herb was getting all worked up at just about everyone taking cheap shots at him. "Maybe you shouldn't make it so easy," she shrugged.

Lazuli took the chair Hansi offered to her and sat down. She managed to laugh the situation off but she was still feeling rather uncomfortable. Even if Hansi had introduced him, she barely knew Argen and it seemed like more people were coming too. But what worried her more was that other guy that Hansi had failed to label. Who was this teal-haired dude in the nerd specs. Lazuli stared at the boy through narrowed eyes until it hit her.

"Suzy?" What the . . . He looked normal? Or as normal as some dark figure out of a movie about some sort of computer spy conspiracy could look. "Suzy? You sure you should be here? Pretty sure your fairy godmother said you only have until midnight. Shouldn't you be at the ball? Getting swept off your feet by your prince charming?"

An hour later they were in Vale, wandering the market district. Beo walked lazily beside Mel and Lilith arms curled behind her head. the market was busy and bustling, with people everywhere buying and selling. There were few too many people around for Beo's taste but she was dealing with it. "So guys," She asked after they had wandered aimlessly for a few minutes," Where to now?"

  • "Oh, come on Pretty Boy, you know we love you." She patted his shoulder affectionately. "But, ya see, every team needs a punching bag, and Chotte Don and Data would probably murder us all in our sleep or something if we picked them for the job. And I, who have someone how been made leader, am kinda sorta exempt from the running for this like, extremely important position."

"And Lazulii, I said make sure the jokes are original. I think you've spent enough time insulting his face and intelligence. Maybe try, I dunno, a less obvious target?" She reached over and ruffled Herb's hair, a silent assurance that if he ever actually felt hurt by it, she would put a stop to it.. It was all in good fun, and she tended to be more relaxed when Lazulii wasn't around. For some reason, she really wanted to impress the short girl. Hansi herself was convinced Lazuli had all the skill needed to be a leader, and she felt she needed to prove she was competent too.

"Speaking of Prince Charming, where is he? Gathering whatever gaggle of ladies or whatever else he's picked up can't take too long, can it?" She had hoped Saffron wouldn't bring along whatever girl he had on his arm at the moment, but she wasn't holding out hope. Seemed her 15 minutes of fame in his eyes had passed. Not that she cared. She wasn't really interested in him.

"Well, I know a great place where there isn't a lot of people, for our night out..." Mel sheepishly told Beo.

"It'd be a great place to better acquaint ourselves with the team... And they serve great shakes there!" Mel continued.

@Ian Temero
A few minutes later, Team HANI was on the air bus, and Ivory was praying that her two volatile teammate didn't somehow magically cause an accident and sent them all careening down into the lake.
She wouldn't put it past her teammates, but she wasn't sure she'd survive the fall, or the subsequent swim. She wasn't a water person.

But, she tried her best to ignore them, puzzling out the game of Sudoku she had in front of her. It would keep her occupied and distracted, and that was all she needed right now. Was to be occupied by something other than Hazel and Aqua.
Hazel observed her team... She feels that she doesn't cut it for being a leader when not in the heat of battle. She was a huntress, born and raised.

"Ivory, do you have any idea why Ozpin appointed me, a huntress, as a leader?"

Sitting next to Ivory, Nyx felt that addressing someone in her general vicinity was invitation enough for her to respond. "Actually, I'm completely lost on that one. You have absolutely no leadership skills and, as far as I can see, that isn't changing any time soon. Maybe it was to appeal to a rich family, I don't know. I'm not saying you shouldn't try to lead us, actually on the contrary. I want to see you get better at this. But I have no idea why you were put in the position you were," Nyx said bluntly, finally getting it off her chest. She hated the fact that Hazel was their leader, although it's better than Aqua.

"The monster that did this to my face was my mother. So only in my dreams is it just monster make up." Argen retorts without looking up at the guest who casually took a seat with them. Hansi had probably invited her and so he wasn't going to cause a scene with this lady. However, if she made clever remarks about his looks Argen wasn't one to just stay insulted. The knight had his own sense of pride and honor. He wasn't going to swallow it just so he could have a nice night with people he doesn't know all to well. The knight lapses into silence while the others converse more out of respect for Hansi so as not to start something with this newcomer. He only really speaks when spoken to.

Teal continually pushed his glasses up for some reason. Just a nervous tick I guess. Teal looked to Hansi answering her question "I can assure you I am human, I just do not like showing people my skin, have a lot of secrets that are meant to keep hidden....But at least I am showing skin today." Teal says pointing to a hand, it was not covered in gloves just a really pasty white color and had odd markings near the edge of his sleeve, questionable whether it was a tattoo or scars trailing up his arm but it was better not to ask just yet, it would take some time but he would open up eventually. Teal looked to the knight guy his glasses flashing the hex pattern and then he turned back secretly scanning the people he was now surrounded by, yeah his glasses were actually exactly like his goggles. He never took a break did he, paranoia seems to be a thing he generally loved.

Teal looked to Lazuli "I decided to actually dress like a normal human being is that so hard to understand....want me to wear the same clothes over and over for like an eternity." Teal says sarcastically receiving a slap from Hansi, he grabbed his shoulder and looked at her and the rest, quite the odd assortment of people that day. Teal leaned back his stomach growling "I will probably take mine to go..I have important things to do." Teal lied really not wanting to eat in front of his team, nor the disturbing other team of all dudes. Yeah he would much rather go find his friends and hang out. Because they knew him and he fully.....wait nope he totally did not trust them but at least he knew they had his back and would not tell anyone secrets he was to reveal. Probably because the two Twins were actually in prison not to long ago but as said before were released and now are being watched over by creepy smile guy. Teal seemed to space out while thinking.

  • Hansi lapsed into awkward silence at the comments of Argen and Teal. Well. There went her hopes of being a fun playful leader.

She thought after the week she might have had a handle on the balance between being playful and being in charge, but it seemed not. Now Agren's feelings were hurt (she could tell, even if her didn't say) and Teal was already trying to leave. She was not cut out for this people thing.

"Hey, um. I hear this place has this really really great lemonade! It's got like, lavender and soda water and stuff in it! And a girl back at the Dance Academy said they have a reuben sandwhich that is like, to die for." She said with a nervous laugh, desperate to find new, safer conversation. Oh god, was that all she and her friends could peacefully talk about? Food?

"Day out." Lilith corrected Mel from one of the stalls. It wasn't even noon yet, so whatever they decided to do it wouldn't be a 'night out'. Not for several hours at least. Handing a merchant some money, Lilith picked out two scroll charms from his wares, one with a blue bead and a feather pendent, and the other with an orange bead and a flame pendent. Giving the merchant a thankful nod she turned and rejoined the other two, pocketing the baubles.

Upon hearing the word 'milkshake' come from Mel's lips, Lilith's ears perked up. "Milkshakes? I'm game."
