Sapphire walked over to Hansi and nudged her gently on the side. "Come on, let's go talk to people. I mean, this is a rare occasion for me, because talking isn't my thing." She chuckled slightly, before making her way over to the group in hopes that Hansi would follow. The Faunus caught sight of the weapons and grinned.
"Is this a weapon showcase? If so, let me enter in my beauty." It was obvious that Sapphire was in a better mood due to making her first official friend of the day. She pulled out Hyacintho Lamina in it's sword form and showed it to the group. "It's got four different modes, all that are super kick butt if I do say so myself." This really wasn't like Sapphire to be so cocky or to actually talk to people. Her ears flicked, this time it was completely involuntary and had nothing to do with her emotions.

Looked at Lamina and then at Jotunham...


Wow, my weapon kinda sucks...

Oracle watched the two interact, remaining silent. She sighed, wishing there was way to join into the conversation without seeming utterly awkward, but that seemed to be impossible. After they had finally stopped, she stepped in. "Alright, now that that's done, I'm Oracle." She bowed dramatically, her smile wide.

"Well, hello, sunshine! Do you mind if I call you that?" Mel asked Sheepishly.


Jeez, and I thought I needed to open up more...


Mel waited for Oracle's response.

"So it's a taser mallet. Pretty cool." WarZii put his sword and shield back on his back. "We get teams? Hrmm, that's something I must have overlooked. Interesting." He leaned in to take at Lamina, "That's pretty neat too. By any chance are any of you coming from Signal? There we make our own weapons." WarZii couldn't help but laugh at Mel's reaction to Faunus. "I think what she means is, It's a pleasure to meet you."

Hansi turned to Oracle, paused for a second, and let out a short, slightly crazed laugh. "Oh my god, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to leave you feeling left out, oh my gosh, randomly that is a gorgeous name but like, I didn't mean to ignore you, I just thought you were being shy ohmigosh I feel so bad"


She glanced over at Mel. "Oh, no, I'm sorry, you can't talk to her. I have 'dibs' and that's a thing here, if how you acted earlier is any indication?" Her smile was wide, but even Hansi wondered if she was just teasing or if she was actually being mean to the blonde girl.

Oracle blinked a few times in confusion, looking at them both. She was fairly confused. "Oh.. Um... Dibs..?" She questioned, not wanting to push any buttons but still wondering. "I didn't know you could 'dibs' somebody..." She thought for a moment about this. Then, she decided to not show off her weapon. She didn't want to be seen as cocky... She stepped back, as it seemed a heated debate was about to go down. She didn't know what to do... Not to mention that it seemed like Mel was hitting on her, or something... Oh god...

"Oh, I'm sorry, do those rules not apply to me? Alright, just give me a moment, I'm kind of not from around here."


Hansi took a dramatic pause, her finger pressed against her chin to mock deep thought. "So, like, you can call dibs on talking to the Faunus because you have an admitted strange obsession with them, but then I can't call dibs on talking to someone whom I have already bonded with over a mutual incident? Vale sure is weird. But, if you'll excuse my cultural ignorance, I was in the middle of a conversation." She spun on her heel, back to face Oracle.


"Oh, no sweetie. I don't actually have dibs, can I explain later, it's kind of an odd tale? But oh! You didn't tell me what your weapon was?"

Oak had no clue what was happening. She was just there uncomprehending of what in the world is happening. How it got from weapons to flirting Oak did not know but she didn't really wanna find out. Oak awkwardly shuffled over to her luggage and got out a sketchbook, she started to finish her drawing of a dragon she had dreamed about once. He was quite old and had the personality of one of her teachers, he kept saying "Oak you have a test, wake up!" of course she didn't know what he was talking about until she woke up in the middle of class and realized that wasn't a dream.

He placed a hand on Sapphire's shoulder, "I do remember sending quite a few people to the nurses office for using that name. On the behalf of the ignorant, I would like to apologize." He hugged Sapphire briefly and let her go, "If you need anything you can always come to me."

Hansi proceeded to ignore Mel in favor of her conversation with Oracle. She must kind of look like a brat, pulling that dibs card on Mel, but the other girl had literally started it. Determined not to ignore Oracle any longer, she sent a sympathetic nod to Mel, and faced her red-headed friend. "I'm really sorry about that, but she just kind of pulled that dibs card earlier when I kind of slipped into a conversation she was having, and I couldn't just let her interrupt you like that."

Oracle's eyes shifted between them, obviously still very confused. But, she took Hansi's advice and stopped asking. "Alright, I see what you mean." She agreed. At the mention of her weapon, her hand instinctively flew to her back, were a miniature halberd lay nestled in a satchel. Reluctantly, she carefully took it out, the weapon itself elongating as it made its way further and further out of the bag. As it became its full scale figure, she held it in front of her. She showed it to her. "Here it is, good ol' CrossBerd." She stared at it for a moment, before looking up at Hansi. "And, my Semblance is the ability to control density. As in, weight."

Oak was startled when mel ran up to her, but quickly got over it. "Uuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm...?" She had to think for a moment, she knew artists were usually protective of their art and she was no different, but mel did seem like a cool friend. "S-sure, but I will skip over things I don't want anyone to see." She poured her heart and soul into this note book so obviously there would be some personal things. To artists their books are their diary's, a window into their souls.

Sapphire smiled gently, a brief glimpse of sorrow passing through her eyes when he recalled the people who constantly talked about her. "Thanks.. and here I thought that all humans were uncaring Faunus haters. Guess I was wrong." She stated, partially joking and partially being serious. The Faunus wasn't used to the contact from another living creature, or a human at that, and even if the embrace was brief, she tensed. Her ears twitched involuntarily as she looked at him, "Thank you, again. I probably wouldn't have survived Signal if it weren't for people like you."

She clapped her hands together in a show of understanding. "I bet with that huge axe, weight manipulation is a really handy gift! Does is only work on you? Or like, could you help me gain those 5 pounds my mom says I need?" She laughed again, waving one hand to indicate her joke. Ok, this whole people things was getting a lot easier.


She tugged on her billowing sleeves, feeling the weight of her own knives sheated against her wrist. "I just have these little guys. They aren't much."

"I can do anything organic, just not in-organic stuff. Not to mention how straining it is, but I can handle it most of the time." She laughed at her little joke, then looked into the sleeves. "At least you'll be faster than me. Mine can become a crossbow / harpoon launcher thing, which has its perks. But, like I said, I'm not the fastest person ever." She joked herself, feeling a little more at ease when talking to her. "Hey, when initiation starts, I hope we're on a team." She said simply, happy she'd made a friend.

WarZii stood proud with his arms crossed, "One day the world will see Faunus and Humans as equals. Working together to uphold justice and peace from the Grimm. At least the ones that I haven't tamed." WarZii motioned his arms at the other faunus interacting with people, "See, we're paving the way to a bright future even just being here together"
