"If your body isn't strong enough and you absorb too much energy, you will explode viciously" he said calmly "As for how long I've been training, ever since I was old enough to walk, but I didn't seriously start training until I was thirteen" he bit down on a berry as he looked annoyed at an old memory. Training itself was always difficult and painful if it wasn't properly regulated, especially for the elements of ice of fire.

@JayKuro

"I guess that would happen if you absorb too much energy. But if you only started seriously training when you were thirteen then I believe I still have a shot." Wynter said pausing from eating for a moment "do you think you could still train me? I'm still willing if you are." He said getting seconds on his food, before pausing to take a quick drink.

@Seraph Darkfire

"If I don't have anything else to do I could begin your training" he said thoughtfully "The results would mostly be up to you" it wasn't the first time he'd seen someone explode from taking in too much energy. If this boy died due to his ineptitude, then that was his fault. He looked at Wynter "Though once we start training, you can't simply stop, doing so could cause you many problems, with the least of them crippling you"

@JayKuro

"Thank you!" He said, he wasn't completely sure of what he was going to have to do but he was willing to do it. It wasn't exactly like he had anything planned in his schedule either. "I don't plan on stopping halfway so I don't think I will have to worry about giving up or anything like that." He said finishing his food and taking his cup in his hands drinking the drink slowly.

@Seraph Darkfire

He nodded "So, tell me about your friends" he said. Seiren needed to know what he was dealing with. He didn't expect that his friends had any ill intentions, but he had to make sure they wouldn't be distractions in his training. Maleficarum could train at any time once they started, however, the amount of strength they gained was directly proportionate to the amount of time they spent training.

@JayKuro

"Well they're both really nice however Annabelle is slightly on the braver side and she's not afraid to say what's on her mind, or asking questions." Wynter said taking a sip before putting the cup down completely setting it aside. "Besides that I'm not completely sure of what they're like, I just met them about an hour ago." He said turning his full attention towards Seiren, although he didn't stare.

@Seraph Darkfire

"Yes, there seem to be a lot of people who are making fast friends" he said frostily "I don't particularly trust many people when I first meet them" him training Wynter had nothing to do with trust. Anyone could travel to his family's home and request to be trained. Not many people were accepted though. Currently, he was just training the boy, but when he felt that Wynter was worth it, he'd formally accept him as a disciple. This would entitle him to the resources Seiren provided him from his family.

"Well, I am sure they are good people" he said nodding.

@JayKuro

"Well it's easier if you get along well and aren't really bothered by what people say. Although I can see why you don't really trust people when you first meet them." Wynter said putting his hands in his lap as he froze a little of the moisture in the air creating a small cube of ice and tossing it back and forth in his hands casually.

"Indeed I believe they are good people. I don't really think anyone I the school is particularly bad, I guess they just have a different way of viewing things or something of the sort." He said smiling a bit for no particular reason.

@Seraph Darkfire

Avari gave in nod in reply, figuring that Annie was probably correct. It would literally be insane to toss blood thirsty kids with those of nobility, wouldn't it? That'd just be a recipe for disaster, and no school would be trying to eradicate its student body or start a war. No, that would be completely counter productive. She glanced back over her shoulder, now noticing several other students, all girls she noticed, making their way toward the loner kid.

"It seems that it was just curiosity, or perhaps loneliness. See, there are several others approaching him," She blatantly pointed, no longer caring if she was noticed. He most likely wouldn't be paying attention to them, who were a table over, when there was attractive girls introducing themselves. Perhaps had she been a different person, she would have gotten up and said hello as well, but there really wasn't a point anymore, nor was it something she would do had she been back home. Another reminder that she was really quite far from it.

"How did you meet Kirrashax? Was she always there, or did you, like, acquire her?"

@Abberakelaran
Srion gave her a small smile then fallowed her over. she did hold back as she was nervous to meet another person. walking up to him she gave him a shy smile then blushed as he spoke to her. "o-ok..umm...would..would you like to sit with us?" she asked quietly as she pointed to the seats they just came from. she then looked over and gave him another small smile
"Huh? Oh sure! I would love to sit next to you girls." Kuno said as he stood up, and smiled to the girls. "So why are you asking for me to come, and sit next to you? Kuno asked the girls as he chuckled to them.

'I actually wonder why...' Kuno thought to himself as he smiled.

"Well there's no real reason, it was mostly Srion's idea. Don't really know why she wants to make millions of friends when she can't even introduce herself properly." Annabelle quickly turned to Srion "Of course, you'll learn how to talk normally eventually. Especially with me.".

She let out a small giggle before turning back to her seat and strolling in the general direction of it. The way everything was so perfectly set out made Annabelle wonder how the staff could be this immaculate. From the way the table was set to the shine of the oak floor, it all fitted together perfectly and it pleased Annabelle to the point that she thought she was accidentally in a room for all of the tutors.

As she sat down in her seat once again the staff came at a perfect timing to take away the cumbersome parasol and to lay out an elegant cup of tea and two biscuits that Anna immediately went to eating. After she washed down the biscuit with a sip of the hot tea Annabelle asked Kuno, assuming he was following her, "Why were you staring at the two girls over there? It looked pretty weird from over here.".

@TheWhiteScarf @Srion Receno

"Ohh that makes sense. Heh. I can't really socialize, so I can relate to you Srion." Kuno said as he smiled, and he followed the two girls. He noticed Annabelle admiring the decor of the room, and he smiles towards since he had never seen a person admire the decor of a room. Kuno finally sat down, and looked at Annabelle so he could answer the question. "Oh... Well I love to hear others' conversations whenever I get bored. It's trait I have since I am an Assassin...." Kuno says as he looks down in despair.

Srion blushed and looked slightly way. she only needed to get to know to someone, then she would of been talkative. Srion sat down then looked at Winter and the other across from her. she smiled at everyone then looked down. what should I say to them? seeing Kuno upset she smiled at him "its alright, its what you know and who you are so no need to look so down about it" she said as she tipped her head at him.

@TheWhiteScarf

Dove looked over her shoulder after Avari did, and saw that the one who had been watching them turn away. She tucked her wings in behind her again, but resolved to keep an eye on him. He had an odd air of darkness, and the look of someone with a great deal of confidence with weaponry. It was a familiar air, and she trusted that darkness in him little more than she trusted it within herself. Annie turned back to Avari as she asked her a question. She hesitated for a moment, and her face twisted as old memories resurfaced. She shook herself, bringing her mind back to the present and said, "Kirra has been the devil on my shoulder for a while now. I do not have particularly clear memories of that time, but she was not always there. We have managed to more or less adjust to each other. How about you? What do you do for fun?" @Ameythyst

Annabelle paused at hearing him calling himself an assassin. Arms folded on the table she inquired him "Well if you were an assassin how come you're here? And why are you going around telling people that?". She really did wonder why someone so dangerous would go around flaunting that fact to everyone he sees. Her black ears twitched a bit as she was a bit uncomfortable being friends with an assassin of all people. Thieves and burglars were fine, they just steal things and usually don't attack people. Assassins though... they kill people for a living. Anna wasn't comfortable with that. She took another sip of the sweet tea as she waited for his reply.

Kuno looked at her smiled at her questions. "Oh well I came here to get used society. Since I was an assassin my whole life I never knew how it really was to be part of a society of decent people. Also, I came here for an actual education. Also, I'm not going around telling everybody, but it should be noticed from the way I dressed and how I act, that I am a bit odd from usual people. Plus, I call myself an assassin cause it's ingrained in my head that I am a deadly killer that once murdered people who came in my vicinity. I was called for many years, and for a whole year, my family didn't even call me by my name, but called me assassin." Kuno said to Annabelle as he sighed, having to talk about his family. He then looked Srion, and said "What I know and Who I am is something I want to forget. I know nothing, but murder and who I am is deadly killer, who can snap in an instant." Kuno sighed once more, but sad as he looked at Srion and Annabelle, and smiled. "Sorry... I have a terrible past..." Kuno said as he kept looking at the two.

"Well I would keep quiet about your past since well, people might not take it lightly you know?" answered Annabelle, sipping some more of her tea. "Let's change the subject, what do you guys think your class is going to be hm? I think I'm going to be in the thief class since I was sneaking around my town stealing stuff, the definition of thief." cheerfully said Anna, she could tell that Kuno didn't want to talk about his past seeing the face of dread. She didn't understand how someone could hate their own family, they fed them and educated them and kept them alive. Shrugging off the thought, she didn't care too much. She just wanted her family to be safe from all of those people who attacked them just for raising her.

As she waited for Kuno's response, her black eyes observed him trying to see the assassin in him. Annabelle then remembered that she didn't care, she just wants to know that they won't attack her or her family. So, she went back to dipping her biscuit in her tea and finishing it off.

Lawrence James Envorou III

Though the task was a week's worth of labor, the Jousting Tournament was at last under way.

The setup was functional and travelled well. Ornately carved, a wooden barrier divided the jousting tournament into East and West. Paved earth ringed around it, distinguishing from green fields the lanes through which the jousters would gallop. And on the eastern side, a colourful array of nobles and commoners sat, ascending in class from the cushioned top of the stands to the low mud beneath. And on the northern and southern ends, a collection of tents housed the competing knights. They rallied under one flag; the golden flag of the Duke of the Third Estate. Each tent was arrayed with banners of their own, proud reminders of each knight's noble house.

Beholden together, the jousting field formed an array as pleasing to the eye as a field of flowers.

The Envorou banner, with its jagged blue border, white foreground, and bright yellow falcon, hung also upon Jamie's polished lance, which gleamed in the noonday sun as he rode astride his horse.

Armor polished blue bedecked Lawrence James Envorou III, and he positively gleamed in the broad daylight. His youthful face was uncovered, the visor to his helmet propped up so that he may survey the field one last time before the bugle called him to his place.

Yet he was busy with another task.

His eyes were cast down; his gauntlets jingled against the saddle with every jostling step. A lance crossed over his legs while Jamie's hands, bare, looped a bright green handkerchief over the shaft. The wind wafted against the fabric, touching a minty scent to Jamie's nose.

A smile escaped him.

"Whoa there, Jamie. It's only a nine-year-old's favor! Restrain your joy or the Duke may think aught is amiss!"

Wryly, Jamie shook his head. "The Duke? He'll hardly spare a glance for me with you strutting about. Have you not seen how tightly he clutches to his bride, how fiercely his eye burrows into you? If anyone needs restraint, it's not the courteous and respectable Jamie, but the flagrant and free Aiden."

Aiden laughed, and indeed it was a handsome laugh, cutting well against his cheekbones and carving into his strong jaw. The reddish blonde of his hair, combed and shimmering finely, rippled in the shaking of his shoulders.

No matter how often he saw him, Jamie could not but view his cousin with a striking of envy. And that was no surprise. The good looks and martial skill Aiden had would do that to anyone.

As usual, Aiden's eyes glittered with merriment. "And yet, for all his eagle-eyeing, I've managed to slip this past him." Proudly, Aiden flourished his lance, and there upon the shaft waved a scarlet handkerchief fancifully embroidered with the name of the Duke's own bride, Liselotte of Gwendol.

"Coxcomb!" Jamie swore, laughing. "You'll hang for this!"

Aiden barked a laugh. "Ha! Let them try!"

With their regal sound, the bugles blasted through the field, and the resounding trumpets that followed after filled the air with vigorous melody.

"One last joust before they take you," Aiden said. He looked almost sorrowful. "Make it count, Jamie."

He nodded. "By my troth, I will."

Taking his horse by the reins, Jamie trotted to the Northern head of the jousting lane. His opponent, a Southern Knight streaming black ribbons, mirrored the movement, though with a more stylish gait and prouder posture.

The man Jamie faced was a seasoned knight of the Second Estate who had won titles and honor for his skill in war. Having known this, Jamie did not expect to win; only to land a hit.

Bracing his knees against the horse's side, Jamie offered a silent prayer to his god. His lance pointed, his body taut, he awaited only the bugle's second call to thrust his opponent through.

Sanae had made it look so easy. When she, however, drew the string back, her muscles protested and gave way before she even had time to get the target in her sights. Whereas Sanae’s arrow pierced right through the head of the dummy, hers instead flew wide.

Sanae made a show of studying the arrow’s flight path, and, after careful consideration, finally spoke. “Try aiming for anything but the target next time. You’d be more likely to hit it then.

How do you do it? It's so hard to keep the bow steady! It’s not fair, Sanae!” the younger girl pouted. She rubbed her bicep and winced. “Ugh, now my swordarm’s sore. This isn't good.

I’m actually puzzled, Yuki. You have the whole cutting people apart thing down to a science. How are you still too weak to draw a bow?” Sanae pulled back the string, and lowered the bow until the arrow lined up with the dummy. A moment passed, and then she loosed it. The arrow slammed straight into the dummy’s head with enough strength to send it shuddering. Yukie didn't need to check the cameras to know that the arrow struck just an inch away from the archer’s previous one. Sanae was as beautiful as she was talented. And her tongue just as sharp as well. Perhaps it was because of the latter that she hadn't gotten a boyfriend.

The way of the sword is not one of strength. That’s what brother told me. One does not match his muscles with his opponent with a sword as weak as the katana’s. The Raikiri doesn't break, but yet, I don't wish to see it do so.” Yukie tried to emulate Sanae, drawing back her bow. Her hand did not attempt to even obey her orders, and released the arrow early before she reached full draw. The projectile sailed pathetically across the field and landed not more than ten paces away from where it was shot. Yukie stomped her foot on the ground, and gave a rather anguished cry of frustration. “AUGH! This is stupid! How how how HOW do you do it?!

This was a good reminder as any to Sanae that Yukie was still just a teenaged girl capable of throwing tantrums. Now, even more so, since this was an age where this sort of behaviour would be more apparent. Sanae herself recalled when she was Yukie’s age. Unlike the girl, who was now closing her eyes and counting to thirty to calm herself down, she was much more rambunctious.

Then again, Sanae thought as she withdrew her bow when Yukie, clearly still displeased with her results, stormed off towards the back of the archery grounds, picked up her sword, and marched towards her own dummy, and began to cut it into pieces with wild, unadulterated fury, undisciplined strokes for someone who was usually calmer, I wasn't this unhinged when it came to violence. It seemed that, sore as her swordarm was, Yukie was no less destructive with her sword.

[The Orient Islands / Tsuruga Harbor]

A crowd of migratory birds just flew past by an empty harbor. At the horizon, a sunset can be witnessed as its covered the sea and the sky with its warm orange hues. Coupled with the pleasant sea breeze that gently caressed her, Kurumi wished that she was here for a vacation, so that she could properly enjoy the beautiful view.

However, she was here because of her duty.

"This is just too quiet..."

Kurumi spoke to herself, as her eyes began to gaze at the roads leading to the Tsuruga Harbor that she was tasked to guard from the malevolent Shadows. Before she began to patrol the entrance, Kurumi heard someone was approaching behind her.

"Wow. Isn't this beautiful? My hometown doesn't have such beautiful sunsets as this!"

A young man with a disheveled forehead length hair in a similar military uniform as Kurumi commented excitedly. At this moment, the pink haired girl turned to her colleague and frowned at him.

"I know, but don't you have something to do? How's the progress of the evacuation?"

"Err..." Her colleague stammered a bit, while giving an embarrassed expression. "Yeah, everything's going as planned." He said, as his eyes motioned to the harbor town nearby, filled with demotivated civilians and children as they were forced to leave their houses due to an impending invasion from the Shadows. They moved in an orderly fashion, while carrying as much of their belongings as they can on their backs and hands.

"It's just keep getting worse." The young man sighed afterwards. "Plus, I'm not ditching my work y'know, Ruru-chan. I just wanted to check on you, as the Boss asked us to keep an eye on ya."

He smiled at the end. As for Kurumi, she displayed her trademark annoyed expression.

"Hmph. More like killing me off when I got turned or something."

Her colleague once again sighed. As much as he wanted to defend his decision and continue to interact with Kurumi, he merely shook his head. Both of them stayed together for a while, until Kurumi felt goosebumps all over her body. She immediately turned to her colleague.

"Get back to your post and alert the others! They are coming!" Kurumi spoke as she pushed the young man away.

"W-what?! Where? I mean---"

"I have a part of them, remember?! Just go!"

Then series of screams and roars can be heard from the harbor town nearby. The invasion has started. After her colleagues ran back into the town, Kurumi gritted her teeth as her eyes caught a group of Shadows running straight towards her, traversing through the road to the town's main entrance. Ever since she was contaminated by Shadows, the military has been putting her as the role of point man, or any other dangerous roles. Kurumi took out a black colored, pen-sized stick and twirled it, transforming into a black-greenish scythe.

"I know that it won't go that easy."

As the groups of black shadowy figures approached within Kurumi's range, the pink haired soldier roared, and charged into the horde of Shadows with her Crescent Green outstretched. With a swipe from her weapon, numerous of them faded into the air as the scythe cut through their bodies. The normal, human horde-based Shadows were not much of a skilled combatant, as they purely relies on numbers to destroy their enemies, making Kurumi's weapon and expertise an effective crowd control method, and the main reason why they placed her at the main entrance. It was not like Kurumi was going to appreciate the technical explanation anyway.

The battle stretched on, as Kurumi continued to defend the main entrance of the Tsuruga Harbor. She hoped that the town inhabitants and her colleagues were still alive. Another wave of Shadows soon appeared, and this time Kurumi slammed her weapon to the ground, creating a frontal cone of shockwave, knocking the Shadows down before she dispatched them.

Then...

In the bone-chilling air, a figure lay on a ragged rooftop amongst the thousands of stars. The only sign of her presence is her silhouette, casted by the intense, waxing Gibbous. Flowing, thick, pale-blonde locks of hair cushion most of her body from the splinters of the unstable wooden roof. The moon's reflected light dances upon the earth to turn everything in its path into a ghostly light pale-blue. And yet, the goosebumps that form around the feminine figure's shivering skin remains golden. Her warmth, yet slowly dimming, fights the darkness like a single flame that sits on melted wax in a shadowed room. The Sun Elf's willingness to keep fighting for a better day within this dull and dangerous wasteland is undoubtable as she gazes at the sky. And with a deep heave and heavy sigh, Altehya puts on her hooded cloak, steadies her self and stands on the creaking wood. Just a speck amongst the thousands of stars.

Tt!... Ttt!... Tttt! Only a being with super-sonic hearing would be able to hear the faint sound of Altehya's boots as she jumps from creaky rooftop to rooftop. The black market is bustling tonight. Altehya has prepared for this moment for a few days. Which is much longer than her usual desire to "wing-it" in situations without much thought being put into it. However, this time it is much different. A week ago a certain blackmarket boss sent his men to steal Altehya's hard-earned cash after hearing that the sneaky she-elf has been making a popular name for herself among the blackmarket. It's not my fault that I make more money than you, Altehya sarcastically thought to herself. Her statement was far from the truth. Living on the streets, the Sun Elf hardly gets by on a good day. Food is scarce and the price for it is by trade or for a high payment. Being thrown into the streets by her own parent's at 13 was not a great way to enter this new untrusting and dangerous world. Since the beginning, her only way of surviving was by stealing. Altehya believes that it was her gift that saved her life: The gift of levitation. With her ability, she was able to stealthily obtain food from a far enough distance by levitating it until it reached into her grasp. And once she obtained more confidence, she began stealing valuable items that she could sell in the blackmarket. With these items she is able trade them for a decent amount of food that provides her with the necessary amounts of nutrition that she needs in order to survive. Of course, the poor young Sun Elf never wanted to steal. But it was and still is her only option. Currently, no one knows how the she-elf, who remains anonymous under her hooded cloak, manages to trade such valuable goods."It's not my fault...I didn't ask for this", Altehya said panting under her breath. Now talk of her valuable findings was beginning to spread through the streets. And now this blackmarket boss has taken advantage of her by finding out where she lives and then stealing her money. And even something more valuable than money. Her necklace that was given to her at birth. A ruby red sun with a chain made of pure gold. A sign of nobility. Forget the necklace. That son a b*tch stole my money, she thought to herself. What if they find out who I am by that piece of garbage? What if they know about my ability? One piece of jewelry could determine her fate in the streets. No...Focus!

At last, after jumping rooftops and lurking in creepy alleyways, Altehya arrives at her destination. She rests her back against the end of a white wall and slowly creeps to look to her right.
Bingo. There stands the guarded back door of a building that supposedly hosts a medium-sized bar and, yet, directly leads to the ol' tight wad's chambers. Now, how to get rid of the two obnoxious men who guard the entrance. To the right of the men is a horse connected to a small wheelbarrow what looks like to be holding two wooden boxes of liquor. And farther to the right behind the horse sits about a 100 pound stack of hay. Save your energy, she reminded herself. Picking up a 100 pound object could risk her whole plan. For three days Altehya has managed to anonymously sneak out during the daylight to gain as much energy from the sun as possible, turning her, once sun-deprived, pale skin lightly golden. One would think that roaming the streets at night would be more dangerous, but it's the opposite. A being's identity is one's freedom. And if revealed, ones reputation may plummet depending on that being's history in the blackmarket. Hence, why Altehya must be careful not to be seen, especially when everything is lit by the sun. "So sorry for this, buddy", hisses Altehya as she raises her tensed hand, simultaneously lifting up the boxes of liquor slowly in the air. Luckily, the view of the rising boxes is hidden within the darkness of the night and are out the guards' field of view The she-elf's tensed fingers now vigorously extend as she quickly turns her palm to face the ground and pushes down. Immediately, the wooden crates, about 30 feet in the air, descend from the sky and crash through the wheelbarrow, creating a loud and deafening cacophony. Raising its hooves into the air, the horse cries out with shock and takes off running with the remains of the wheelbarrow attached to it towards the right of another alleyway. The two men shout and run after the terrified horse as Altehya quickly enters through the backdoor and into the building.

Warmly lit hallways with several wooden doors are present. Below her feet is expensive carpet with detailed designs in dark reds, golds, and purples. Altehya thought it odd that such an inviting atmosphere should be placed here behind the back of an unsanitary bar that celebrates spills and stains of all kinds. Not wasting anymore time on such a silly thought, Altehya pulls on her hood and stealthily moves with speed as she focuses on searching for the room where the boss stores his riches.
Forward, a left, two rights, and down the stairs is what Altehya has been repeating in her head since she was given the information by a blackmarket rogue who knows the ins and outs of several places like this one. And luckily, the information did not fail her. At last, these are the stairs that supposedly lead her to her final destination. Careful not to make as much as one creak, Altehya slowly descends down the staircase and sits her hand on top of the handle, while resting her left ear against the wooden door. The only sound that disrupts the silence can heard from the pounding of the Sun Elf's own heart. With a deep breath, Altehya softly opens the door and prepares herself for a possible battle.

Not a soul is to be found. Yet there lay a spaciously lit room filled with golden riches and vibrantly colored treasures as far as the eye can see. Still careful of not making a sound, Altehya quietly closes the door behind her, allowing her to fully register that the environment that she is seeing is indeed real. Without another moment to waste, Altehya walks toward the back of the room and quickly scoops a large amount of cash to replace the sum of money that was stolen from her. She vigorously puts it into her bag that has been hiding under her thick, warm, cloak. Now, the real task. Somewhere in this large room is her necklace. She doesn't need anyone finding out where she came from. Her identity and reputation would be ruined. A familiar beam of light catches her eye. There on top of the table is her ruby-gold sun necklace reflecting beautiful beams of light.

"I'm surprised you actually came this far". Frightened, Altehya lets out a small gasp and instinctively grabs her necklace and turns around to face the unknown voice, her hood still covering her face in shadow. A human man stands in front of the entrance. His round belly is defined by dark green, suspended, trousers. He wears a white, slightly unbuttoned shirt, that appears to be stained by an alcoholic drink. And his thick brown beard does little to hide his flushed nose and cheeks. This man. This
boss who holds much of the wealth from the blackmarket is drunk. He continuously shifts his weight between his feet and, yet, his smirking face appears to be dangerously calm and collected. "I take it that Stelvien helped you to find thuh way?". Heart pounding, Altehya thought, Stelvian?..Stelvian? I know that name. "It'z not everyday tha' you getta rogue on your side to do thuh dirty work for yaa". Altehya's stomach drops. Stelvian was the rogue that gave Altehya the directions to where this room full of riches was located. How could I have been so stupid! With a low, croaked, chuckle, the drunken man begins to slowly walk closer to the she-elf on the other side of the room. "Nex' time, don't jus' assume that your necklaze will be hidden in plain zzsSight". With the necklace hidden in her left hand behind her back, Altehya slowly begins to recede into the tiny space that remains in the back of the room. The man begins to unsheathe a hidden sword behind his back. "Yuh know, I wunder how your people back home will react when they found out that their precious daughter of nobility was caught stealing...and killing a defenseless boy". Altehya's eyes widen with horror and hatred. He knows of her past. With a loud roar and sword in hand, he dashes toward the petrified she-elf. Using her hatred and fear, Altehya snaps out of it and immediately extends her right arm and tenses her hand in front of her. All of her saved-up energy within her body now travels through the veins in her arm and her tensed fingers and slaps the invisible force toward the chest and neck of the man, throwing him hard into the side of the left wall. With his weapon dropped, the man lay pinned against the wall by this invisible strength, gasping for air. Altehya, now crying with fury, keeps her right arm extended, picks up the fallen sword with her left (necklace still in hand as well) and presses the blade across his neck. About a nose distance apart, Altehya, through gritted teeth, whispers, "name one reason why I shouldn't kill you now". Through the clicking sounds of his throat and vigorous hissing from his nostrils, the man is hardly able to gasp for the slightest bit of air that allows him to speak next. "N..nu-...NOw."

Around the four corners of the room, four hidden doorways that were covered by magic in order to appear as a solid wall, now materialize with two guards emerging from each one. Altehya, now exhausted after levitating an almost 200 pound body, let's go of her hold on the drunken man and makes her way toward the middle of the room. With one swish of her hand she manages to levitate and throw two of the men hard into each other, hitting three other guards and into the wall. Altehya gasps as a dart suddenly shoots into her right upper arm, leaving it paralyzed. A rope is quickly tied around her chest and neck behind her, bending her backwards and causing her to drop to the floor. With her left hand she manages to weakly push the guard who tied her with ropes away into the wall. Another dart now shoots into the left side of her shoulder blade. Through her increasing fatigue, blurry eyesight caused by her tears, and jagged breathing, the defenseless she-elf struggles to get up from the stone cold ground. Guards, one by one, now rush in to tie her down thoroughly. "Do whatever you want with her. Kill her, sell her, I don't care! Just make her zsuffer for the crime she haz committed here tonight!", says the man as he bends down and rubs his throat
This is not how things are supposed to end. This is not how I was supposed to die. This was not how I was supposed to live! I was never meant to live like this! Momma...Papa...Before faint took her, the last thing that Altehya remembers seeing is the blurry figures of the guards falling to the ground. One by one.

NON POST ANNOUNCEMENT

Alright everyone I am placing a REST PERIOD in effect! The Dinner Scene is officially over and you can now make school/self growth/training/friendship posts at a casual rate. (However if you are having conversations IN CHARACTER please try to keep them short as to not overwhelm everyone.)

Since I am bringing in new people, I'd like you to assume that atleast a few weeks has passed. You can have your character be almost anywhere doing almost anything.

If you still haven't made a starting @ people who have made accepted characters, then you still have a chance to make an intro post now, but time is running out. If you still need to finish Dinner related posts then finish them ASAP. Our next scene should be up in about a week.

@Seraph Darkfire I will be posting something involving you very soon, regarding your Maleficarum training.

Everyone will get something similar but I'll keep it to 2-4 per rest period.

"Well that makes sense, I really don't want everyone to know my past" Kuno said to Annabelle as he smiles to the two girls, and he then heard Annabelle's question. "Well, probably something that let's us train what we know, and what we don't know." Kuno answered Annabelle as he thought of his training as an assassin with his brother.
"Well we're going to find out soon enough right?" said Annabelle, finishing off her drink.

After her meal, Anna wanted to go outside to enjoy the peaceful environment at dusk. Without waiting for Kuno to answer back Annabelle stood up and walked over to the exit of the grand room. Once again the waiter who was caring for Anna that meal came to return her wooden parasol, and Anna elegantly picked it up and flipped it open as she stepped out onto the cobblestone pavement in the cool night.

It was mid afternoon and the little kitsune was making her way along the pavement to a small stone bench facing towards the edge of floating island. Her hand held a rather thick book containing a novel about sailing the seas. Recently Annabelle has gotten a craving for adventure stories as a result of her experiencing the many new races on this island. It was a good thing that the librarian was so willing to lend her five books at a time all on the ocean.

It's a perfect day to just stare at the little cute birds out there... Hmm, I'll just sit there. Yeah that's a good idea. thought Anna as she decided to sit on the middle of the bench. The lessons were off for her for now, so there was no need to worry about missing lessons. She opened the book to carry on reading it under the shade of her handy light blue parasol.

Srion listened to the two talk as her eyes wondered around the room. there Annabelle was right about him, others would find out anyway. she looked up at her as she left then looked to the three boys at the table and smiled. she wasnt quiet sure what to say to them as she looked down embarrassed. her mind wondered as she tucked her long blond hair behind her ear. she was glad the Wynter and the other guy were getting along. she had tried not to hear in on there conversation but it was kinda hard not to with her good hearing. not knowing what to do she looked at the candle and took the flame into her hand. bringing it to her she played with it for a moment making it into different animals and flowers that were around were she had lived. about this time she was starting to miss her home and was unsure if she should stay.
