This is going to be a bit difficult.

You can either be a
CITIZEN, MONARCH, GAURDIAN or JOKER

There are an infinite number of spaces for CITIZENS, who can basically live a normal life, or become a vigilante for justice if they so choose.

There are only four
MONARCHS allowed, one from each kind of person. A King, Queen, Jack, and Ace. For instance, if there was a King of Spades, there could be no other monarch of the Spade. Each MONARCH has an item of power. The King has his crown, the Queen her ring, the Jack his sword, and the Ace her tiara. Their colors are their species, but much brighter.

Guardians
are limited to five. These are the people at the palace with the MONARCHS, and must protect them at all circumstances. These people are usually Bodyguards, Butlers, Maids, or anything as such.

JOKERS are limited to three. These are people of Deck who have gone mad, but have gotten enhanced magical abilities. They are very clever, but in a bad sense of way, and always find the fun in a gruesome situation.

Then, there are four species of people:
Clubs, Hearts, Spades, and Diamonds. They each wear a different color, to help sort them from the others.

Clubs: The toughest. Usually goes on to be a blacksmith of part of the militia. Their designated color is Dark Green. They have very weak magical abilities, so they rely on weaponry and armor for combat.

Hearts: When these people are young, it takes a little while to gain control of their vast magical abilities. But a mature Heart is one of the most powerful people in Deck, though these people are very rare. Their color is Dirty Gold.

Spades: Have a moderate amount of magic, but most Spades prefer to have a common life with common goals and jobs. They combine the magic they have left to get their mediocre tasks done. Most spades are citizens. Their color is Scarlet.

Diamond: Have parlour magic. Its used mostly for showing off, or enhancing something or someones abilities. The only really powerful magic they have is the ability to change their appearance to look like other animals. Their color is Dark Blue.

Thanks for making a CS! I need to link the actual topic for RPing, but so far these two characters look legit!

1. The species are the suits, yes? What species are the Jokers?
2. I'm getting from the introduction that you already have a plot in mind. So are you going to sort of guide us through that throughout?
3. I'm assuming by the separate monarchs that each race is geographically separated. Do you plan to converge them at the beginning of the rp?
4. You don't want anything else in the cs? It seems like their magic and extent of abilities at least should be approved well before someone is allowed to use them
5. How detailed are we expected to be throughout the course of the story?
6. In what era is this roughly situated?
7. How do weapons compare to magic? Are they equal, or is one superior?

Okay so that sort of does and does not really work for me. I see that Clubs don't use it, Spades use it for menial tasks, and Diamonds use it for shapeshifting (?), but that leaves the other half of Diamonds and all of the Hearts up for debate. Can you specify these more?

... The other Diamonds? The Dismonds all have that same general area. The Hearts use kind of use color magic. It's your state of the art magical bubble/shield, power bursts, and telepathy.

But the diamonds use other magics than shapeshifting, yes?
Color magic? I don't think I've heard of that

Fortress Protection: By infusing his magic to the fortress, Drevis is able to watch anything that happen inside if he choose to do so.

Flower Shield: A magic bubble can expand from any flower in Drevis immediate vicinity.

Infusion: Drevis can infuse knives or anything he hold with power, enhancing their speed or strength when thrown or used.

Binding Contract: Contract written by Drevis can not be broken under any circumstances.

Color magic? I don't think I've heard of that
It's just the magic I mentioned with a certain color.

As a sort of cartoon character herself, she is upbeat and energetic at all times. As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss. She is generally unaware of what is actually going on, limiting her perception to her own imagination. Thanks to this, she typically marches to the beat of her own drum, which could be brilliant or horrendous. At times, the trait manages to achieve her goal in a ludicrous method. At other times, it tends to backfire on the environment around her. Either way, she tends to get by unscathed so long as she avoids battle. Almost always, she tends to find a way out of most situations given her abilities. Despite her independent disposition, she can be instructed by capturing her attention. That being said, her attention tends to wander and is only kept in place through her own fascination. Even in battle, she's hardly serious. Despite her abilities, she is entirely incapable of taking another life. She focuses on passive jobs such as theft.

Heart Magic
Toon Physics - a collection of law defying attributes that make little to no sense in reality


Acme Arsenal - The ability to use mundane or random objects as weapons with bizarre effects. For example, she might use an apple as a smoke grenade.

Disguise Mastery - Can assume many well done costumes and act out roles effectively. The clothes can be changed anytime she is in a private area, and they come from practically nowhere. Her acting abilities are above par, though she has to know what the person acts like in order to copy them.

Elasticity - Immune to poison, burn, and paralysis.

Fantastic Travel - The ability to travel through frames, drawings, and other stuff as well as through areas that make next to no sense. This typically leads to her disappearing in random areas and reappearing in a nearby location. If possible, she will accidentally appear in a location that is not her destination as long as it provides some sort of comedic effect. Otherwise, she tends to use shortcuts that do not exist. Not unlike teleportation.

Gravity Defiance - Her slow fall stems from the use of her parasol, which must be opened to work. It won't open if falling faster and flattening is funnier.

Flatten - When struck with a blunt object, it simply flattens or dents the body. This has no real harmful effect on the user, and the body typically bounces back quickly.

Pain Suppression - Can withstand a higher pain tolerance than normal. As such, only fairly harmful attacks will hurt.

Pocket Dimension - Can draw out random objects from seemingly nowhere. The size hardly matters, and the possibilities seem endless. Regardless of the circumstance, nothing can or will kill the target by her hand.

Regenerative Healing Factor - Recovers ridiculously fast. Cuts are unnoticeable, gashes take seconds, and limb recovery takes about a minute. She cannot recover from decapitation.


Parasol Shenanigans

  • Shield - Ducking under the cover of her parasol, it extends itself to engulf her. It absorbs damage, but provides the knock back. She cannot move in this state.
  • Hook - The handle can hook things.
  • Blunt weapon - Beating people with a parasol.
  • Hidden weapons - Can spawn daggers and rockets from the underside of the parasol.
  • Flight - Catches the wind and allows her to fly at a pace similar to a moderate jog. This also allows her to ascend and descend slowly.
  • Drilling - Spinning it at a high rate lets it drill through many materials.
  • Lancing - Stabby stabby.

Banana - Places a very convenient banana peel directly in the path of the target, which will cause them to slip.

Extreme Inertia - Travels and falls at ridiculous speed. To get to her destination faster, she generally runs, which leaves a dust cloud in her wake regardless of the environment. When falling off of a high area, she will drop at speeds above acceleration and velocity via gravity. When she lands, she becomes flattened, though no harm comes to her.

At all times, she can pull out as many daggers as she wants, a large hammer roughly her size, dynamite, a rocket launcher, a teapot, any book, candles, clocks, crayons, paper, and other mundane objects. The hammer only flattens the target, and the rocket and dynamite only singe and cover the target in soot. The daggers are generally used to pin the target to the wall, but can provide damage. Regardless of the circumstance, nothing can or will kill the target.
