Realistic or Modern Romance in the Dorms

"I'm great," he laughs a little and winks at her, taking his phone out of his pocket and checking it. He had a text message from his mother, which was kind of embarrassing, but he typed a quick reply anyway.

Melody

Seeing that the kid probably didn't hear her Mel shrugged and swam around for a bit before returning to the shore. She picked up her clothes and headed towards the others,

"Night Nadia, Rose, girl who i will introduce myself to at a later time and date. I'm heading home, I'll see you all tomorrow ok."

She smiled and waved goodbye to the girls ignoring Bobby's presence and heading towards the road. She'd remembered that she forgot her phone in Tanners car so she decided to walk home.

Spencer shuts his eyes, almost dozing off in the car for a moment. He wakes up after a second, yawning. "My body is so conflicted. Food. Sleep. I don't know which I want more."

"Well, first I'd like to ask Rob if he wants to join us." Grace glanced at Robert, quirking her head as if she didn't even need to address him specifically. And then I guess we could just wade in and start paddling out a bit. Gracie smiled, glancing to Nad at her side. She could tell surfing was new to her. "Trust me, once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked." She assured her, already shimmying off her shorts and pulling her tank top over her head.

"Or Rose," Nadia added, nudging her before getting to her feet. "I'm sure," she said, watching Gracie get undressed. "Ooh, this was a good decision. I, uh, don't have a bathing suit. Think I could pull off just going in a bra and panties? They're not white, anyway."

Gracie rolled her eyes jokingly, and gave a giggle. "Course ya can, I do it all the time." She said, completely kicking off her shorts and placing her hands at her hips. "Besides," Grace said, adjusting the white lace bikini top. "It's dark out."

"Cool," Nadia said, shimmying out of her clothes, leaving her in just plain matching black bra and panties. "You make it sound like I don't want people checking me out," she chuckled, folding her clothes into a nice little pile so they wouldn't get covered in water or sand.

Robert stood there, "Oh my." He admired the view, "Id probably drown, so I'll just watch your shadows." He winked and laid back, even before they were gone he was asleep. (Im here, but I wont be posting til RP morning happens.)

((Hey guys, I have to go to, I'm going out to meet my friend at Applebee's. Goodnight Nad and everyone else!

:) ))

Melody

After walking the treacherous road home Melody was exhausted. She dragged herself to her dorm and as soon as her head hit her pillow she was out for the night.

Doyle has been spacing out quite a lot, for some reason. Most of the events he witness indirectly were fast and a little hard to understand. The view of the waves hitting the beach were hypnotic for some reason. He felt dizzy a little bit and tired. He sat down, on the sand and then he closed his eyes, his ears grabbing every vibe of sound and dragging it to Doyle, making him more sleepy. He laid down on the beach and slowly drifted to sleep.

In the morning, when he woke up, he lifted his top part of his body with his arms and looked around. "Man, that drink got me like." he said, yawning . Looking around more, he realized he was still on the beach. "Shit. I need to get back.". Sniffing around, he realized he needed desperately a shower. Getting up from the sand, he went back to his dorms to take a shower and get a change of new clothing.

Tanner stretched his arms out and sat up. The room was dark and felt weird. "What the fuck?" he groaned, noticing his shirt and shoes were missing. He stood up and hit his head on a lid. A lid. It opened up and he found himself having slept in the dumpster outside of his dorm building. "Dear god....phone...I need my.." He searched and pulled the device out of his pocket. Keying in his passcode, he shot a quick text to Mel and Lucy asking them what the hell happened last night.

Spencer wakes up as the morning light fills his room and he squints, he had forgotten to close the curtain. He groans and puts his pillow over his head, he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. He throws the pillow over to the other side of the room, and stands up, he was still fully dressed in the clothes from yesterday, having been too tired and probably collapsing on his bed. He walks over to his curtains and looks out of them, still adjusting to the light.

Melody

Mel awakens to the soft light peering in at her the large window within her bedroom. Mel rose up to a sitting position in her bed and sleepily rubbed her eyes. The girl covered her mouth as she yawned softly while looking out her window with sleepy eyes. The whispered,

"Today is going to be better."

She smiles softly before hoping out of bed and disappearing into the restroom. She jumped in the shower and exited 15 minutes later only to dress in something comfortable. Now that she was going to be a part of a competition Mel needed to keep herself in better shape. She usually runs around the campus but today she's gonna run all the way to the beach, swim, then train her voice on the stage. She slipped on a pair of black track sneakers and matching shorts with a white sleeveless tee shirt. When Mel was going to get her phone she remembered that she left it in Tanners car and decided to ask him for it when she sees him. Mel grabbed her ipod and popped her earbud into her ears. The girl dashed out her room, down the stairs, and out the door while keeping a steady place. This way she can control her breathing when singing. It took about a half hour to get there but when she did arrive she stopped by the stage and used the public phone the judges had placed in there in case of an emergency. She called Lucy and left a message on her phone,

"Lulu I'm gonna be at the beach training for a bit I still don't have my phone so if you need me you can find me there."

Then she called Tanner and let him know that she left her phone in his car and asked if he could bring it to her at the beach. After notifying some of her friends of her location she felt she'd be ok in case she was brutally murdered. At least they'd know to check the beach for her body first. The girl went back outside and stripped off her comfort clothes revealing a different bikini she had. The girl raced to the ocean and played in the water for a bit. She was glad she had the beach to herself for a while. But she still sorta wished she could have someone help her choose her song for the competition. She shrugged off that thought and disappeared underneath the sea for a few moments.

Unlocking the door to his resting place, Doyle walked in only to find the room in a mess. Clothing everywhere, food on the floor, total chaos. Looking over at the beds, Doyle saw how both beds were occupied. Walking over to the left bed, he poked the bulge in the white blanket. A couple of noises of frustration were made and it continued like that since Doyle was keep poking. "God damn it!" a voice yelled and rose up. "D! Dammit! What!?" he asked. "I should be asking you Chris. What happened here? A party?" Doyle asked, covering his chest with his arms. "Pretty much. Parties everywhere, girls dancing like crazy, what would you except. Now let me sleep." Chris demanded.

No longer interested in disturbing Chris, Doyle got rid of his clothing and quickly took a shower. After 10 minutes of cold water pouring on his body, waking him up completely, Doyle got out of the shower and began brushing his teeth. Before beginning however, he asked Chris for rumors and news. After groaning and swearing out loud, Doyle began brushing his teeth.

"Yesterday at some party, Mike heard this chick yelling that if someone finds out some guy they will get a prize. Turns out it was some move to get people out of the house, since it got emptied in like, seconds!" Chris said, which Doyle knew it was Tanner's party. "Also, Mike puked on a chick. What an retard. She was hot. Way to go Mike.". Doyle tried not to laugh as he continued to brush his teeth. "Oh, the official thing. There is some contest at the beach." Chris added. "What contest?" Doyle asked as he got out of the bathroom. "I don't know, it's...dammit D, I can't think straight!" Chris yelled as he threw his pillow towards Doyle. "You were doing a fine job earlier, why can't do it now?" Doyle asked as he grabbed the pillow as it bashed into him. "I'm hungry." he said, looking for a change of clothing. "Avoid the kitchen. It's a mess." Chris murmured as he drifted back to sleep. "Already? Wow. By the way, can I borrow your backpack?" Doyle asked, but Chris was already asleep. Chuckling a bit, Doyle grabbed a few things from around the room, some water from their mini-fridge, some eggs and meat. "I'm off. Sleep well Chris." Doyle said as he left the room. "Well, I hope the beach has a damn kitchen, I'm starving."

Bobby woke up on the beach and groaned. His face was throbbing, along with his brain, and his side ached. He rolled over and nausea swept over him so he stayed still for a second. He got up slowly after the feeling went away and went towards the water, he took out his phone and look at the various texts he had sent to different people throughout the night. Both males and females received hardly legible texts asking for a bed to sleep in. No one replied, the only person who would have replied was Mark, and his text ready "Nos ehrt".

"So much for having friends." Bobby sighed, he reached the water and knelt and started to scrub the dried blood off his face, which sucked. Bobby looked up just in time to see Melody duck under the water. He wasn't sure if she had seen him and was ducking under the water to hide but he vaguely remembered her being the reason the side of his face throbbed, and decided she was not the type of person to hide, if anything, she would just make the other side of his face hurt. She was on his list of people to apologize too, and so was Lucy, along with the other kid that had been with them, he didn't remember his name. So Bobby sat back, and waited for Melody to come up.

Sighing, Spencer walks into his bathroom and showers, then brushes his teeth before getting dressed into just jeans and a tshirt, he pulls on his sneakers and grabs his notebook as he heads outside to go and hunt for anyone who seemed remotely alive this morning. When they had got back to the dorms last night, he didn't know how late it actually was, but the parties were still going, so he presumed that anyone with a working brain was in extreme pain and probably felt like death.

Walking around, heading towards the beach, Doyle saw from a distance Spencer. Unsure if he recognized the man, Doyle approached Spencer with eyes glued on him. Once he got close enough to him, he narrowed his eyes, then smiled. "Spencer? That you?" he asked, casually. "It's you isn't it? What are you doing? Where did you guys disappeared last night, you, Lucy and...that's it? I can't remember. Gosh, I'm never drinking that ever again." he said, with a smile.

Spencer looks at Doyle and laughs slightly, shifting his weight to one foot and putting one hand in his pockets, his other holding his notebook. "Yeah, this is Spencer," he confirms and he smiles, "We went and ate then we both went home, I can image you probably feel like death or something, right?" He asks him. He'd put painkillers in his pocket just in case he did stumble upon a friend who needed them. "I'm not surprised you can't remember anything, you were wrecked."

"Pff, wrecked? Please.". Doyle waved his hand dismissively, trying to believe he didn't end that bad. "Anyways, what are you doing? Where's Princess Lucy?" he asked him. "By the way, you hungry? Wanna come with me at the beach and get some food ready?". Doyle turned around, then pointed with his index finger at his backpack.
