Oh wait. I did see the very first Avengers flick and it was good. =)

Psychie! Sherwood! Have you met my Kaerri? She's a real sweetheart! (GunMan2, this is yet another joke as the three of them have been gaming together for literally years.)

If you are interested in seeing a pair of excellent films, I can suggest the duo of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Don't watch Endgame without seeing Infinity War; it will leave you with too many questions about what the heck has happened before the start of the movie.

No, no, I'm fine. It's my understanding from many a Marvel fan that in order to get into the movies to any degree of understanding requires much shelling out of dollars into other TV-related stories (Netflix probably) aaand... I have better ways to spend my time and money (like collecting the original comics which I've done for years).

Forgive me if I'm just not that hot about what the latest director or Disney-like company has done to a story or group of characters I like this time. I've seen one too many butcherings (even the Masamune Shirow movies are really, and pardon the pun, hit or miss - some are great, others are meh-worthy).

But hey! The original comics that started it all? Yeah! Awesome!

I get ya. Some movies just don't do it for me, too. Personally, I'm a Marvel Cinematic Universe fan as opposed to the DC films, but I know many that are the complete opposite.

Psychie Psychie I have a question. It's late, I've had a pretty rough day, and I may have either misread or missed completely some information.

The Officer's Pod got to Dodge Steven's Strike, Dodge Nova's Strike, and fire on Steven with its P-beam cannon, all using only two Actions? Wouldn't that cost us three?

EDIT: I didn't think we were using Automatic or Multiple Dodge in this game in mecha? So... for my semi-fried brain, I think the proper word is... "wuuut?" =)

DISCLAIMER: Of course, if I'm being dumb and I've missed something everyone else has long since caught, all I can say is... it's been that kind of a day! =)

OOC Of course. Not a problem.

The particle beam attack passes safely under Steven's feet, missing you completely.

Nova takes aim on the Officer Pod, firing a APFSDS round at it. It skids to a sudden stop and her shell misses to the front of the pod, causing a few choice words to come out of Nova's mouth.

@dannign is up

Initiative order
23 - Steven [2]
21 - Officer Pod [2]
18 - Nova [1]
17 - Miya <====
13 - Chris
12 - Battle Pods 1-3
8 - Battle Pods 4-6
6 - Doug
5 - Battle Pods 7-9

I blew my roll by tossing a '2', so I think it was more a bit of poetic license on Psychie's part.

Sherwood is correct. He missed, and I simply described it as the Glaug dodging. In actuality, he only used one action to dodge Nova, and the second action was used to shoot.

Okay. So shouldn't he be on his 3rd Action not his 2nd?

I'm going to stumble off for some coffee now. =)

He used two actions; one to dodge and one to attack. His next action will be his third, since Sherwood's miss didn't use an action for the Glaug to dodge because it was a miss on the shooter's part.

Okay, so I'm reading it wrong. Okay! I can live with that. As long as I know what's going on. It's been that kind of week too. Thanks for helping me out!

ADHD has a lot of benefits, but the suck never really quite goes away, does it? Heh!

Of course. You have been there to help me out on more than one occasion, and it would be bad form on my part to not return the favor.

Ok before i take my turn got to get ask a few things

1.If i chose to transform from tank to battloit mode is that considered an action on my turn and then ends.

2. How much is the difficulty of the called shot to shoot a leg off the officer pod.

3. Does the + 1 to strike and + 1 out of mech also afftect chrises strike when he is inside the veritech?

And ill make my plan to capture that officer as to get some info on the malcontents known

1. Shifting modes does not use up an action, so you can shift and still be able to move or attack as you wish. You can only shift modes once per action.

2. The leg of the Officer Pod has two different MDC ratings; one for the upper leg (80 MD each) and the lower leg (130 MD each). Making a Called Shot on one of the legs has a penalty of -2 to the roll for this particular target.

From the book:
A "'Called Shot" target specification. This is a shot that homes in on a specific pan of a larger target. such as a bull's-eye, an opponent's head, hand, gun, radio, radio antenna, sensor cluster, spotlight, tires, etc .. but counts as two melee attacks.
To make a "Called Shot:' the player must "call"" or "announce" his character's intention; i.c. "I'm going to shoot the gun from his hand:' aim and shoot.

3. As longs as you have the Mecha Elite Combat Training skill (MECT, which you do), you add your personal bonuses to those you have inside the mecha.

GunMan2 GunMan2 I think you need to alter your action; last I saw, we were over 2 miles out from the Battle Pods, and the Eu-11 only has a 4,000 foot range.
