One thing that might be possible is to set up a portable video camera to record the demise of Jake Turner to play for the populace, along with something tangible of his to show that he's dead (again).

Good idea but how? Dreamy is blind and cannot operate a video camera. She lacks any kind of recording device at the moment. One thing that might be possible is to set up a portable video camera to record the demise of Jake Turner to play for the populace, along with something tangible of his to show that he's dead (again).
Good point. I keep forgetting that Dreamy is blind.Good idea but how? Dreamy is blind and cannot operate a video camera. She lacks any kind of recording device at the moment.
Plus, the moment Sylvie tells her that she has found Turner's lair, Dreamy is going right after him before he gets away. She wouldn't scoot out to go get a video camera and come back. Unless there just happened to be one inside of his lair and Sylvie used it? Otherwise I don't see it.
What do you think?
The third game is Systems Failure (a great stand-alone)!Another bit of Palladium books news: there is a bundle of PDF files being offered on sale of Dead Reign (eight books), Splicers (two books), and in spacing out on the name of the third title, but it came out to under 40 dollars for all the books. Splicers looks really interesting!
That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I want loot as much as the next Player, I'm sure, but... only under circumstances that the person running the game is pleased with! That's just how I roll. =)I'll consider the possibility that you might find a clue as to the location of the weapons stash that Jake has been using to find his rise to power, but one way or another there will be a limit to what you can recover for yourselves.
Once you are ready to do so, go ahead and post your actions of getting Dreamy into the pipes.
Yep! That's the one. I am looking forward to diving into the books to see what they have to offer. They are advertised as being Rifts compatible, so who knows what might come from this? The third game is Systems Failure (a great stand-alone)!
Splicers IS interesting! Chuck Walton II, my favorite Rifts artist, and his artwork is all over Splicers and while it's a fun game, I find it's also kind of niche. When everything metal is your enemy, and life is like the Terminator movie (in the future), and your resistance is... anything but ideal, you find yourself in a world of all kinds of strangeness and newness. For some folks, I think Splicers might be difficult to relate to, but for some others, it's got some really imaginative twists to it.
I have this Bundle of Holding (I bought it on the first day) and I love it. =)
They most certainly are. If it's Mega-damage action you're looking for, Splicers is certainly the way to go. If it's mystery and heart-shaking fear you're into, well... that's what the other two games are for if you ask me! 8DYep! That's the one. Wheee! Can't wait! =)I'm going to have an IC post up in a bit.
In good time! =)Thanks for the enthusiasm! I was hoping to be able to get EmperorNorton1 into the game here, but I don't want to wait too much longer and lose my focus on this.
EmperorNorton1 Given what Psychie has said here in O.O.C., our characters start at 3rd level. And yes, add S.D.C. + Hit Points = M.D.C. of the character. Psychie, of course, can correct me if I am not on target here. =)Psychie chie I'm gonna pass out for the night, but i had a question. for the "superhero" power, it says "add the results of the two numbers [SDC and Hit Point rolls] together, than convert that number to MDC." does this mean i have an mdc of that number, or of that number devided by a hundred?
also, could you roll me 2D6, 3D6, and 2d4s for me please?
Psychie Oh! Wow! O.K.. That was quick! When you asked for me to post as Dreamy, I was under the impression we were going to RP the scene, but hey! Moving on works too! With the destruction of Turner and his undead minions, the town descends into several days of chaos as two clear factions form in the ranks of Turner's police force, with one side fighting to try and wrest control of the town for themselves, and the other side is standing up for the town counsel and is clearly glad to have the vampires wiped out.
