I hope you will pardon a 3-part answer:

1. Snowfall does not possess psychic powers.

2. He can, at will, transform himself into an intangible, invisible "cloud." Only Chi affects him in this form. Being insubstantial, Snowfall should be able to go through any SDC, MDC or other barriers of physical nature.

3. If you make use of spirits in the way they do in Rifts Japan, then being a spirit himself, he might communicate with mechanical, electrical, or otherwise computerized spirits at leisure.

Terra will stay in the central chamber for a while, getting some rest and recovering her PPE. For the casting of the spell, she will be in the central chamber with Shaona, guarding her and keeping watch while she drives/walks the fortress into the rift.

I have an idea! After his searching, Snowfall can help Terra wash those "I'm With Stupid" t-shirts. Should make for some good fun! 8D. Whaddya say?

Edit: In case it's not obvious, I'm just being silly! =)

Hey Sherwood Sherwood , didn't post since from my understanding, not much changed for Shaona since I last posted. She'll probably still try to solve as many mysteries as possible before the journey begins. That said, I'll take a look and see if I can get a decent post up.

I'm not really sure what Zeph would've been doing other than meditating for ISP and drawing on leylines for PPE. Even this situation seems broadly alien to him. I don't expect him to be that rattled as a dimensional being though.

So... despite Sherwood having tagged me, I did not get an alert for all of yesterday's posts. Give me a little time to bring up one for Snowfall, please.

May also want to check and make sure the rain isnt some sort of super acid.

Because that would be pretty cool. An acid rain forest. Imagine the wicked critters running around.

Sherwood Sherwood
Purr Purr , please give me a Perception roll.

As always, please roll for me. If Snowfall receives any additional bonuses for having the senses of a fox, I don't know of them.

Perception +8 (+8 for I.Q. of 16)[+2 when dealing with dimensional anomalies, Rifts, and dimensional travel]

No better a hound than a psihound for this task. Daisy has an inherent "sense supernaturals" which includes vampires. So you may want to keep that mind.

Hi there, just a short note - had a few other things in my mind the last few days, didn't really have the inspiration going to get reasonable posts up. I'm keeping up with stuff, though, and I'll hopefully get something out there as soon as possible.

Heya Sil! Thanks for the heads-up! When I need inspiration, sometimes it helps me to reread old posts. It helps me reconnect with the stories and the characters that bring them to life. Music helps me too. =)

Hey Sherwood Sherwood ! What does Snowfall know about the vampires? I would like to use whatever Lore skills you think are appropriate.

You would know the basics, that on Earth, Central America and Mexico are rife with vampires, and that they are spawned from a bunch of truly fearsome creatures known as Vampire Intelligences. They are DBees that come to this planet to feed on the mystic energies, and use vampires as their anchor to help keep them in place.

Vampires are immune to most weapons save wood, silver, running water and some magics. Even massive MDC weapons will just knock them down, but do no other damage. Rune weapons and other supernatural creatures (such as dragons) can do damage to a vampire, but if it is not completely destroyed, it can and will regenerate within hours of being 'killed'. The only sure ways to end a vampire permanently is with direct sunlight, immersion in running water, stake through the heart and decapitation, followed by burning the head and body in separate bonfires, then scattering the ashes to make sure that there is nothing left.

Would Daisy be familiar with anti vampire stake rounds. And if so would she know how to make them?

Good point, D.. We are, after all, in a forest. =)

Your Psi Hound training would have covered all of this, plus the effectiveness of wooden or silver rounds for the Boom Gun. You can make one of your spare magazines wooden anti-vampire rounds; all you will need is the supplies of wood and magnetic metal (both of which you have in abundance) and about six hours to fill the magazine.

@Silanon Are you still with us?
Still here, just way too inactive for my own liking. Sorry for that - just really didn't have the mind to type something meaningful the last few days, too much other stuff happening right now. Got something short up to not fall behind completely, it'll have to do for the moment.

Daisy was actually a breeder when she was with the Coalition. Her job being to have and care for puppies. When she ran away with her mate, who was a award winning psi hound, she picked stuff she knew from him. Plus learning as she went when she first joined a mercenary Corp.

Stupid vampires. Living in a forest.
