Speaking of China, landing again for second stint means I've been a bit slow on typing up the intro but it's coming along well. Really sorry for the delays, we'll boot up soon.
 
Fortunately in case there are any time difficulties in the coming days, @Tarmagon and @Elephantom have signed up as co-GMs to help manage the results and interaction with NPCs! Nothing to fear for 3 GMs are here. Major thanks to both of them.

@Archie well shoot, I'm sorry/embarrassed I missed all that. Kind of wanted to touch up my character sheet in light of this information I passed over, but if it isn't that big of a deal I won't bother. And take your time, real life is a kick in the shorts I'm sure your aware, and patience creates wonders.

Quick question to anyone - my dude could presumably be taking out AA defense at the moment, but if I put him down there does that give him an excuse to run into someone else? Otherwise he can just be on these ships in reserve or something.
 
Hey everybody, my first post is up. This is my first time (surprisingly) writing for something as serious as this is. I would appreciate any advice, reviews or critiques you could give.

The UCM side will infiltrate the base through an abandoned ventilation system, outside their fortified structure, which has series of tunnels one of which connects to the main bases' supply depot.


Our group, Thomas and Van (unfortunately only two), will go through the tunnels, emerge from said tunnels. And then proceed to kick their asses, and shut down the sentry defences from the mainframe, which will allow the cavalry to drop hell down on the base.


An extremely easy mission. In and out, in no time, or so I suppose.

Anyway, I'm readying the post, we're going to start on the ship, before the drop.


So, what you think the drop should be? Teleportation? Parachutes? Boosters? Tractor beams? Sub-orbital drop?

Sweet as. Uh, boosters or sub-orbital maybe? I find it hard to believe any sort of undetected insertion will be possible in the far future, so lets just go with the coolest shit possible (B')


I'd say teleportation, but then we'll be tempted to solve every problem with teleportation until the end of time.
 
True, sub-orbital it is, cause they're cool as shitz.


And when the UCM is bombarding you with orbital lasers every now and then, a minuscule sub-orbital drop will just happen to he the least of your concerns...
