@Taris It's not that it offended me, I just don't like overpower, and godmodding. About your new mutation, I'm sorry to do this again, but this is still overpowering. I noticed you were a new member, but unfortunately I don't go easy on anyone. This scares a lot of people away from my rp so if you don't want to change it, you may leave. Please put more effort into explaining it so that it sounds decently biological. You may have to do some research on it but I can tell you for a fact most of these other members who joined had to search for things too. Controling the moves of others as you explained is not only godmodding, but if you need a good definition I have this one.
 
I didn't put a new mutation up. I just took out the regeneration.

-Grade: Sophomore, 11th Grade


-Years spent at Academy: 5 years


-Mutation: The ability to see and speak to the dead and slight precognition. This is due to a chemical imbalance in Zane's neurological make up. His eyes and brain can process what many others cant, one could say he could see though the thin line of reality and supernatural.


-Side Effects:


He has what he calls 'Ticks' where he floats in and out of reality. He some time goes into slight comas due to his precognitions, they normally last from two to three days at most.


-Skills: Drawing, Writing.


-Personality:


Zane is a quiet boy he tends to keep to himself and observe. He has a hard time comprehending reality and keeps his head and a book of some sorts. He likes to read books about the other side and other strange books. Though his guilty pleasure is Fantasy books. Though he keeps to himself he doesn't mind an nice conversation. He sometimes during his 'ticks' he goes mental and says things he doesn't mean. Due to his precognition he falls asleep randomly and some times in the most inconvenient times.





-History before Academy:


Zane grew up with his parents in a small house in the country. His parents started taking him to Psychologists and Therapists due to the fact that they would see him talking to things or people that were not there. He was diagnosed with Psychosis and slight Schizophrenia. Though he started to have vivid dreams when he was 10 and then he was diagnosed with a sleeping disorder. His parents soon found out about the Academy and sent him there. They thought it would help him.


-History at Academy:


Zane has spent many years at Alius and has learned to control his 'ticks' and doesn't go into comas much often.


-Appearance:

Hmm, either they could meet during the welcoming feast, or when they meet each other as roommates. Could be interesting to have them meet while Rafi is. . .emotional about not being roomed with Saxor. xD


Kyler walking in on Rafi having a rage attack would be immensely entertaining. O u O
 
I love that Idea I just hope there's something to throw. I am confused about the dorms though I mean are they already set up the way the student want?

I'm not in charge around here, but I thought I'd answer this. (Hope you don't mind, Ene.)


To my understanding, RPs that have supernatural elements, (such as the mutations in this one) could be applicable to other genres such as "slice of life" because it revolves around a school. But I've noticed most slice of life RPs use real life photographs and follow more closely to westernized tv shows vs the anime appearances and flavor usually found in the "fantasy/supernatural" sections. That's what I've picked up and I assume that's what the original creator and Ene were going for. Please correct me if I'm wrong. c:

She was being sarcastic. However, if you look at the rules in this thread, these characters have mutations that are NOT supernatural (though they may seem that way.) Fantasy = magic usually. Superhero - abilities that transcend human. Slice of Life = Mundane ordinary characters in ordinary situations (no fantastic, supernatural etc). Doesn't really matter. Just harder to find the thread initially with as many RP's as there are in this section.
