Well basically what it means is her bones can be pushed out of her skin and retracted again, if her bones are broken, they are broken, her her skin gets cut, its cut, she has to heal like a normal person, The bones just cut through the skin and go back in.. Like she can push the bone in her wrist out to use like a knife and then retract it, but it cuts her arm open. then a wound is left, thus the scars.

He was equip with a small, artificial internal organ that allowed his body to store this energy as well as release it from any point of his body. However he has no control over how much energy he generates nor when it'll decide to release itself or how.
-Side Effects: Although his condition is not something one could tell by looking at him, Adam's eyes are noticeably bronze in coloration. This seems similar to the Kayser-Fleischer ring but on a more noticeable scale and with no apparent connections to the diseases it's related to. Whether or not his lack of 20/20 vision is related to this is in any way is unknown. He's immune to most of the negative effects of the energy inside his body and he seems far more resilient to shock than your average human. The feeling of electricity going through his body is skin crawling and uncomfortable to him and the surges that go through him may be doing slow but sure damage to his heart. The shocks themselves tend to arc off several inches from his body and can range from 5 to 30 milliampere. This means he can vary from unpleasant shocks and minor damage of electronics to non-lethal but painful and possible muscle seizing bursts that short out anything running off of electricity.
-Skills: Adam is a smart young man with the ability to retain information well which has helped him keep up above average grades through most of his time in school.
-Personality: Adam is a very subdued young man, his emotional range always staying in a safe near neutral zone. He smiles but never grins, frown but never mopes and the closest thing he seems to get to anger is frustration. This isn't to say he never breaks these barriers but he only does so when it's something truly emotionally impacting. He has a natural tendency to avoid others physically and as an extension of that he's also socially distant. He lacks much in the way of true friendships and even the few he holds doesn't stop him from being quiet and a little awkward though there's no doubting his loyalty to them.
-History before Academy: Adam, originally labeled as Atomic Reaction Test Subject 47, was a test tube baby born for the sake of furthering the goals of a group of scientists wanting to delve into the secrets of the human atom. While originally expected to die shortly after his 'birth' like many other subjects did, the baby managed to stay alive long enough to be considered valuable enough to be raised for further testing.
After being given an internal conduit to stop him from shorting himself out, he was tested for the practical uses of his energy production. As years went by the scientists started to notice the boy grow and mature like any normal human being and realized that they couldn't simply continue treating him like a lab rat. After being given the purposely ironic name of Adam they began mixing mild, more humane testing with attempts to raise him like a normal child.
As the years went on two things became painfully clear: Adam would probably never be able to control his energy like the tests needed him too and that he'd never live normally if he was kept in the lab all his life. The group managed to get him into Alius and shortly after became one of the school's biggest helpers in trying to find the cause and potential fix for various mutations.
