I'm taking the real life version of biology and saying that some pokemon lay eggs in this universe. It's ridiculous that a Tentacruel can lay eggs or some other mammal can lay eggs in this universe. The offspring may be produced through giving birth, laying eggs, asexual reproduction, planting seeds and so on and so on.

Correction. The entire Pokemon taxamonic group is known as the Para-Kingdom in Poke-biology studies. Scientists prefer to use the more colliqual expression 'pokemon' rather than ' a member of this branch of the Para-Kingdom' or referring to this slightly differnet rock type as a ' Biolith' rather than a 'Mineral'.

Yeah. Sure, you can. Just keep in mind mega-evolving a ghost type is going to cause a lot of havoc.

Yes. Togepi do reproduce by laying eggs in this universe. Keep in mind Togepi's are Fairy Types and in this universe, Fairy Types are what the Irish presumed them to be: sadistic, little psychopaths.
