Fantasy Red Hood Society

Athena huffed in annoyance, poking Honus' side. "I'm a dog! Misser meany, that was mean! Verewolves gave me a home! They are nice!" She cried before hopping off the table and running to go look at potions. Several of them looked like candy, but she resisted temptation until she found a pile of what looked like candy. Whatever it was, she ate it and it tasted good. It didn't seem to do anything, so she went back to a liquid in a pink jar and reached in to poke at it. That lead to her breaking the glass, jumping away in surprise, and knocking over a lot more stuff. "Oops..." She mumbled, sitting down among the glass and mix of potions to await for whatever punishment was to come.

Harken sighed, "That's not what I'm saying at all, and you know that. They have been unkind yes, even when protecting u-" her reply was in tu roedores by the sound of glass breaking. She looked up for the foul meeting concoction she was mixing over to Athena. "Child did I not tell you to be careful? You are lucky none of those are toxic. But please, just don't go around eating and drinking my ingredients, some are hard to come by or just outright expensive." She turned, placing a thick, murky liquid on Honus' wound, before taking some gaze material from a shelf and placing it on it. "Keep that there while I clean that up. The smell will suffocate us." Harken walked over, and began to pick up the broken glass, while the liquid moved as she stepped, almost as if it were listening to the speel she was saying. Athena slowly looked up at Harken, a sad and guilty look on her face. "Misses, c-can you make me a person too?" She asked, picking up a piece of glass to stare at it. "I don't wanna be a dog any more. Nobody likes us... That makes us bad. Do I have to be bad too? Do I have to grow up and bite people like Yasero?" The glass was now near her eye where she could stare at it. "Am I gonna be bad like them?"

"You are correct there, I'm practically a skeleton...It will be a bit before I am back to good health." He shivered again. Gladly picking up the squirrel and placing it on the side of the fire to cook. Wild as they may be, it always taste so much better and was far more filling. "Thank you. This will be far more satisfying and healthy than human...I had some earlier in desperation and they are as foul and sickening as the elders say they are. I can for sure say I do not recommend trying to eat one." He chuckled softly.

Honus felt the burn immediately, but managed to suck it up. He was a bit of a wimp, so he tried his best to look tough. The last thing he wanted was ridicule. As instructed, he held the liquid close, wondering as to what she put on it. He had no way of knowing if she was faithful or not, telling the truth or lying. As for the kid, who was surely getting on his nerves, he was naturally annoyed. Is a kid supposed to make this kind of scene? Is this what divine fate had given him, to sit through insanity? Now perhaps her parents were alive and irresponsible, or dead through some common sob story that justifies every part of herself. Maybe in time she would tear up from its memory.

Yasero chuckled, a slight grin on her face. "Well, I ate one in front of Athena once. She screamed... But he'd been trying to kill her, so I had to set an example of what to do. He actually tasted alright, a lot of meat. I left the head though... Don't eat the heads..." She mumbled. "Way too much hair..."

Ackara looked a bit disturbed. "Uh, okay, um, don't eat humans..." She mumbled, scooting a bit away from Yasero. "They, uh, aren't good for the immune system..."

"I..." Harken paused, then sighed, "I'm afraid I can no change who you are. You are a werewolf, there's not changing that, but," She leaned up, and put the broken glass in a blow filled with more broken glass, before shelooked back down at Athena. "But just because that's who you are, doesn't mean that what your kind is like is who you are. So no, you don't have to be bad. You don't have to bite people. You get to choose, though some people may say otherwise. Whether you are like your kind is up to you, I cannot tell you anymore," she said with a rete soft smile, before turning back to Honus. "What does it feel like? Burning or tingling? Relaxing or stressing? Also, you head, fuzzy or aching?" Error404RealityFailed Error404RealityFailed JokerValentine JokerValentine

Honus was nonetheless a tad surprised that she still even cared."Well," he began, "It feels ba- I mean I'm alright. It just is a bit strong, that's all. As for my head I'm quite clear-headed and pretty normal. I just feel a bit warm, that's all. But the potion doesn't.. hurt." He was not entirely truthful, as was a bit obvious by his pained expressions. It hurt quite badly, but hopefully it would subside in time. He just hoped that the fake imposter that had pretended to be Marius hadn't cost him his humanity.

Athena slowly came closer to Honus, ready to make herself not a bad terrible evil wolf. "You look hurt misser... I'm sorry Yasero bit you. She did it because of me... I'm sorry." Then she put her hand on his and forced a smile. "Do you want some water? I can go find some!" She cried, jumping up and ready to go fetch something for him.

"Next time, only kill them. Never get that brutal on a human, at least not around such a young and impressionable mind. The last thing us wolves need are more who kill without reason or question.We...er...most of us are not indiscriminate and brutal killers. Let's not breed more of that behavior, okay?" He stared on at the young wolf with a disturbed expression. "It's not good at all for our reputation and only makes more Hunters like the old grouch that you bit."

"Honus, be truthful. If you aren't I won't be able to help you," She said. "That's a mixture of wolfbsane, poppyseed, silver bud, and a few other things harmful to the wolves. Your reaction to it is soem ting I need to know in order to treat you correctly," Harken explained. "So make sure she doesn't touch it." Yasero shrugged. "What can I say? He was trying to get you." She chuckled, laying back against the ground. Ackara looked very very disturbed.
"Oh, uh, alrighty... Marius, we should probably get some sleep now..." She whispered nervously.

Honus decided to change his mind. "Ok it really fucking hurts," he said, "and I'm about three seconds away from losing my mind because this burns a lot and I need this feeling to go away." It was a large difference than what he had previously said.

Athena frowned at the mixture, putting two and two together. It was driving the virus out of Honus' system. "Oh." She whispered, looking at the ingredients. A few seconds later she was gone, just nowhere. If Harken wouldn't make it so no one would hate her, she would. She found where Harken had kept the ingredients and stared at them for a long while. Since Honus' medicine was placed on a wound, so she'd have to find something else to do with it. Apparently eating it was a good idea, so she took several bites and swallowed. No fuss needed to be made about it after she had taken it, so she just went back into the area with the others and crept towards the oor.

"Okay, that's good. That means it's working and it's not to late. It's like a purifying toxin," She said with a nod. "And that also means that you're incredibly lucky. But you'll have to sit there for a few minutes with it on. And Athena dear, water would be a good idea." Yet she was gone. "Where did she run off to now? There are things that can kill her here," Harken muttered. But she didn't have to look for her as she joined them again. "Dear, what did you do?" She questioned. Minerva let out a slowly elongated breath as she observed a pack of wild werewolves in their den, A man slowly crawled up next to her "Scarlet was this the den you saw?" he whispered towards her hoping to not draw attention to them. Minerva just barely nodded at him before she stood up signaling the attack throwing two of her knives into a werewolves back causing it to collapse unknown if it was dead or not Minerva advanced on the den as the wolves howled to life alerting one and another. As Minerva advances arrows flew over her head peppering the clumped together wolves wounding most of them, Men shouted and charged from the underbrush of where they were hiding towards the wolves. Minerva whispered a single word of a long dead language and lightning sparks drew around her hand as she drew her sword from its sheath, the lightning moving its way down the blade until she slung it at one of the werewolves and it arched out sending lightning through its body.
After hours of fighting the werewolves den was cleared out, the men that she lead into battle were mostly horrible injured beyond repair and the ones that weren't injured were burning the corpses from the battle. Minerva was covered in werewolf blood and the soldiers knew now why she is called Scarlet, Minerva cleaned off her blade and sheathed it then spent a few minutes looking for her knives before she found the first werewolf that they were lodged in. Minerva removed the first blade and the werewolf shot back to life clawing at the ground trying to escape, Minerva flew into a violent pit of rage stabbing the werewolf repeatedly until there was a fist-sized hole in its chest. The second in command of the hunt came and grabbed its corpse and slowly dragged it towards the fire when Minerva grabbed his arm "Fill out the field report I'll report in later" The words left her no louder than a hoarse whisper Minerva was leaving for her mother's house.
Minerva was walking through the forest thinking she was heading in the right way when she almost stepped on one of her mother's wards that she leaves scattered around her house. She kept walking dodging the wards with ease from being trained to see them when the view of her mother's house came into view.

"Maybe you're not so bad after all," the man said with sympathy, "but sitter duties call, don't they?" Honus, knowing full well he had survived, decided to reflect on his experience solemnly, staring out into the yard. The aged man, unbelievably, saw someone else. They were covered in blood, probably a Hood or a witch. The man thought it was rather strange that this girl arrived at this time. He thought he would check it out. Getting off the table, the man navigated outside, seeing the bloodied girl approach. Harken was busy anyways dealing with a very full and idiotic dog. But he recognized his fellow hood immediately, though with a bit of suspicion. "Scarlet, is it?" the man said with questionable intent. He turned his side away so as to shelter his wound away from her sight.

As Minerva approached her mother's house she saw a man appear out from the door she swung up her left hand and under her wrist, a contraption opened up slinging a bolt towards the stranger. The blood from her previous battle set off the sights of the wrist bow and the bolt thunked into the doorframe barely missing the man the wrist bow snapped close as Minerva drew her sword and charged towards the house ready to fight the stranger not knowing he was an ally.

And had she not heard his calls? His recognition of him being a hood? Maybe even the uniform?! yet she charged at him with seemingly ridiculous intent. How could she not recognize one of the upper officers? "I'm a Hood I'm a Hood!" he shouted loudly, flinching backwards as she made her way closer to him. Was there anybody not trying to kill him today? He already hated being at this house, mistrusting the owner and the dogs inside of it.

(yolo XD sorry)
Minerva stopped in her tracks at the man who claimed to be a hood and wiped some of the werewolves blood away from her eyes being able to get a better look at his uniform she sheathed her sword saying nothing at the man. Minerva looked around eventually noticing footprints leading to the house that did not belong to her, she assumed it was her mother and the man standing before her but then she saw the third set of prints. Then looked back at the man "Who all is here!" she yelled with a hoarse voice sounding more like a man than the woman she was Minerva cared more about the information of this matter than the fact her mother could be in danger.

The man, relieved he was still alive, decided to be a bit more defensive. "You have much to explain, kid. Are you telling me you don't recognize a fellow Hood? Crimson, as I believe I've heard your name, are you doggish in mind in the sense that you attack any moving creature? There is no need to attack this house. A witch lives here, and she has some company. Albeit a curious cast of witches and some sort of puppy. So you can move along now." Honus had no idea what had gotten into her, and perhaps his ego was a bit insulted by the sense that she didn't know who he was. Nonetheless, he kept his hand firmly pressed on his wound, his body blocking part of the doorway.

"That is no reason to be so brutal...we are not monsters. And that behavior only makes them more vehement in their pursuit to wipe us all out." He sighed. Taking the roasted squirrel from the fire and relaxing back.
"You sleep Ackara. I need a moment to eat and I won't be far behind. Okay?" He looked to her with a gentle smile. "And let us hope the hunters keep to their promise and let us be overnight and into the day."

Minerva started moving in closer to her mother's house and the man scorned her she got close to the man like she was going to whisper to him "This is my house" she said low in a hoarse voice her throat never healed from when she was younger. When she finished saying this was her house Minerva spoke in a dead language and sparks of lightning flew up her back making wings that crackled and buzzed trying to escape from her body but stuck against her back reading up for a fight in case he wouldn't let her in now starting to wonder if her mother was in trouble.

Witches were so unreasonable. First he is nearly killed, then she wants to ignore his words. "By no such means is that true! Harken lives here, a witch in the Hoods. She's tending to a few issues," the man said with unneeded detail, "but you have no reason to lie to me. I see you've been busy with battle and all." The man looked at his wound, seeing that the liquid had healed it rather substantially. It looked better, felt better even. He wouldn't turn after all. "Do you live with Harken, maybe?"

Minerva was keeping eye contact with the man as he was speaking than he broke and looked down at his side Minerva looked down expecting to see a wound but instead saw clear shiny skin her mother had healed this man which meant she was still alive. Minerva answered in a sharp horse town "Just tell her Minerva is here" the lightning on her back died down and she went out of defensive mode realizing the man was no threat.
