Honus decided, to get one last line in before they were separated by some other stupid force with the shifter. He passed the wall, approaching the sickened and torn male. Almost as torn and as upset as he was. He wanted to kill him, to end his life right there and have it be over with. But part of him hesitated, such a lowly and vile creature, perhaps at one time was a human that looked normal. But those days were crushed and gone, they failed to live on in the beast's mind. There were two sides to Honus, the Aeneas and the Superego. The Aeneas was one to forego all emotion, all pain he felt in his heart. The mission was what truly mattered. But he also fought the death with his superego, how badly he wished to let the dog go and get away from all this.

"Dog," the male said rather tired, "I want to strike a deal with you. A deal that you can't.... you can't refuse. You're sick, starving, weak... but we're enemies. Nothing can dismiss or alter it. But I can't kill you. I don't want to, not like this. You- you deserve better than to be shot like a full animal. because there's a part of you, an uncorrupted and pure side that deserves an honorable death. Gather your kind, get your strength back, rest, fear not your death. When you find yourself, dog, you and your strength, we may cross paths again. Then it will be fair. I do it on my honor as a son of my father, and a father of my son."

Athena clung to Harken's hand, shaking her head. "N-No... She scary right now... I think she might bite.... C-Can I stay with you?" She asked, moving a little closer. Yasero's wolf form freaked her out. She had once seen that form tear a human limb for limb, and being the peaceful type, she didn't like it. Athena wanted peace with humans, but Yasero's angry wolf form was something she did not want anything to do with.

Yasero looked over at Honus, seeing him over Marius. She began to move towards them, not knowing the true situation and assuming Honus was about to kill. The large wolf launched before she had a second thought. Her teeth sunk into the human's arm and she pulled, snarling the whole time.

"I will be fine on my own devil...as long as they uphold their end of the deal." The wolf picked himself up on shaky legs. Turning to stare at Honus. "Such empty words. Your kind never changes, but I do appreciate the slight sense of temporary mercy. I hope we do not cross paths again, as unlike you, I do not want unnecessary bloodshed. However, if you ever attack me or my kin, I will not hesitate to end you and-" He thought was cut short as the young female attacked.
Marius instantly jumped in to aide not the wolf, but the human. "Stop! Let go of him young one!" He snapped. Not daring to try and pull her off in fear of doing more harm to his arm. "A temporary deal was struck between us, he was not going to attack and leave us be. Although I fear that is completely dissolved now."

He knew the feeling as soon as that foolish dog clamped its infectious jaws on his arm. The lycan infecting him meant that he had only a bit of time left. But not if he had anything to think of it. He fell backward, the dog clasped on his arm. The other dog, the hideous beast, fought the wolf to get off of him, but Honus did not know that. He saw Rhykad and Harken there, waiting. He saw what happened, hopefully. His own commander given his sentence. "Loose!" he shouted, signaling then to open fire on the werewolves.

Harken squeezed the child's hand, rubbing it with her thumb. She always found it slightly comforting when she was a child. When she was asked if she would allow the child to stay with her, Harken looked down and a smiled sweetly, "For a bit, yes." Then she looked back up, and Honus was in trouble. Then he told them to attack. She....she didn't want to. But unfortunately, she had too. Harken, looked down at the child. "Please look away dear, I don't want you to see your sister being injured," She said this, her voice full of pity and regret, before she looked up, muttered a quick spell, sending a powerful gust of air to seperate the young female and the two older males. She wasn't sure if the female would be hard by her, hopefully not. Though being injured from Rykad was a differnt story. She glanced over her shoulder to Odysseus, hoping he wouldn't attack. She didn't want him to get involved in any way unless it was to ten to stop, rather than attack. Yasero quickly let go of Honus, pouncing onto Marius to get him to run. She beckoned with her head to the bush before turning to face the hunters. Her form was very large compared to the average wolf, so she was able to shelter him from the fire that might be coming. She growled angrily, prowling forward.

Athena let out a scream of fear, clinging Harken's hand tighter. "S-She made bit me too once... B-But she didn't mean to! Sh-She was a wolf then a-an couldn think! She help me when mommy an daddy kick me away! P-please don hurt her!" She cried, burying her face in Harken's sleeve

But Honus wouldn't go down without a fight. The man got to his feet, clutching his arm. But he drew his knife, and, in tons of pain charged at the rabid dog with whatever courage defined itself to be on that day. He knew that it was what he had to do, but hardly what he wanted to. This is what he gets for making deals with demonic creatures of the forest: a cowardly attack, a plot that the dogs knew full well what they were doing. So it must be.

Marius swiftly pushed past her and aimed at slamming his body into Honus. "Enough! Stop this senseless madness and let us leave in peace! If all else let the children escape." He snarled. Turning a sharp glare to Honus. "Order them to fire and your life will end as well. The creed of the Red Hoods is it not? Wolves are the scourge of humanity and all must expunged from this earth. No matter the cost or who they may have been. The Hoods don't care, they've never cared. Do you really wish to be slaughtered like you've been nothing more than a beast your entire life? Treated like nothing you've done or anyone you've been close to or loved ever mattered. You want to see the horrors look to the disgusting kind you once were Hunter."

But what mattered most now was not logic, it was vengeance. He didn't give a shit for the literal dogma the cursed dog was uttering, how terrible of a human he was. The man let loose his assault, using his body in any way he could. He smashed his fist downward, as hard as he could, and as frequent as he could. It didn't matter if he hit, all that matters was that he would not stop. He wanted the dog dead, its family dead, its pack dead, the forest burned to the ground. He turned aside to Harken, who appeared, after she used her wind power, to stand there idly. "Do something!" he shouted in utter rage!

She caught his hand on one of its last downfalls, "I will not help you with this madness!" Harken said firmly, still holding the child's hand. Who you are fighting is a child, a malnourished man, and your own insecurities. You have been bitten Honus, we must leave in order for me to stop you from turning," She said, staring him down. For a little woman, she stood her ground. She looked to the man trying to stop the fighting. "It is unlikely he will listen to you, he doesn't care. Please, try calming the it her one. I do not want there to be bloodshed anymore than you. Especially, a child's blood." Her voice was softer, yet still stern, before she turned back to Honus. "I am starting to doubt my forced loyalties."

Marius let out a yelp of pain. He should have expected this to happen, for the disgusting human to go after him next. He threw up his arms to protect his face. Confident his armor would provide enough protection for his chest. "Get off of me!" He growled. Retaliating with whatever kicks and knees to the gut he could manage against the man in his sorry state. "Bah! Get this pathetic excuse for a man off of me witch! If he will not listen use force! You can do that correct? I do not have a pack but I can take the young wolves away from here and treat them. I know enough of natural medicine to do so."

Yasero... She's an idiot. She sprung forward, aiming her claws and teeth at Harken. She missed and dug her teeth in Athena's arm. The little girl cried out in terror and pain, struggling to get away. Yasero's grip was tight though. She didn't recognize Athena's human form while she was a wolf, so she assumed it was a human out to hurt 'her' pup. Yasero swung her jaw and threw Athena to the side before advancing on Harken.

The child was ripped away from her hand, and Harken turned to face the it her female. "Why must most you wolves be so un reasonable. You just hurt your sister I'll have you know," she said, muttering something else right after. With a wave of her hand, a jet of water seeming out of nowhere would head straight on for Yasero. "I made a deal not to harm you, and I intend to keep it. It wold be easier of you just cooled off." Error404RealityFailed Error404RealityFailed Axeykins Axeykins JokerValentine JokerValentine

Such a statement was exactly what Honus tried to convince her all these years, but still she hadn't learned. But her traitorous slander nearly drove him to lash out at her. Yet she was on the good side of this fight. "Let's go!" he said to Harken, hoping there was enough time to avoid having to turn. If he ran out of time, he knew what must be done. "Make a smokescreen or something and let's get back!"

Yasero let out a yelp and ducked as the water came towards her. She charged at Athena, holding the girl's leg in between her teeth. Not full out crushing, but still applying force. It was a threat. She dragged Athena away, slowly, and digging her teeth in every time a hunter came closer. Athena frantically clawed at the ground, finding she could stop her 'Mom-sis' from dragging her. Once just in the undergrowth, Yasero let go and bolted off, leaving Athena shaking. The girl stumbled up, limping and rushing back into the clearing to cling to Harken's hand. "S-She didn't know what she was doing... P-Please don make me go back when she like this!" She cried, looking at Honus nervously. "S-She not know who I was..."

Harken couldn't do anything to go after the two childern, her hands were tied in that matter. But when Athena came back, and took her hand, the witch smiled at her. "I'll help you, I'll make sure you get all better and then help you it your sister, okay?" She said softly, before turning and looking at Honus. "You are lucky that my residence is not far. I can help you and the child, and now. There is no need for a smoke screen." Error404RealityFailed Error404RealityFailed JokerValentine JokerValentine

Honus got to his feet, and got away, trying not to look back. He stumbled a bit, knowing full well that the adrenaline had gotten to him. He hoped that he could kill that lycan later. It seems that animals do not fight ferociously when cornered anymore, they use their words in attempt to humanize them. But they would all have to be destroyed, he just hoped he was lucky enough to do it much longer. "Lead the way," he said sarcastically to the witch, wanting to refer to her by a much more ruthless name (in this case, he would call her judas), but he only cared about himself. At least he was open about it.

"Do not bother with a smoke screen. I have no need nor want to follow you and will make sure the young one doesn't follow you." Marius backed off from them. Watching curiously as the little wolf clung to the witch. "Please take care of the little one, heal her to full strength and if you will. Return her to me? I know he will not allow her to live the life she deserves with what she is. I may be able to locate her so called sister or a new pack to take her in. While I may not be welcomed into one easily, any pack would gladly take in a pup at the drop of a hat." He let out a heavy sigh and turned back to the direction of the fire. Cold and starving, he only desired rest now. That would be mighty difficult with every one and every thing at his throat tonight and the demon looming about.

"Goodbye wolf, I wish you luck," She said, gently picking up the wolf child so she didnt hurt her leg any more, before she turned to Honus. "You will not expose my place of living to anyone else, or i will gut you," She warned, before starting to her house. It really wasn't far, yet she couldn't move fast with an injured child. Honus couldn't go much faster anyways. Hopefully the dog wouldn't follow him. He got enraged at it, turning back to say one more vicious word. "I've seen kids die, you fucking mutt. I've seen your kind tear a fourteen year boy up in shreds, gut a defenseless boy, and turn a third. Believe your kind is so innocent, the gentle side of nature, but nothing gentle in nature bares its teeth. Poor Marius..." he said, turning away. He had to hurry, get himself cured.

"Thank you witch. I appreciate such a thing." He bowed politely. Witches were far more respected among the wolves due to their great power and knowledge, even if they worked for the Hoods. He then turned back to glare at the man."As have I hunter....young innocent lives taken. young pups, the vague shadows of a few in my human days...a kiowa? or sheridan? humus? Some odd words. I cannot remember their if they are names of people or places after my memory was taken but the emotion still lingers with them." He huffed. Greatly disliking hearing his name uttered from this disgusting creature. "Psht. Poor me? Shut your mouth. I do not need your sympathy or such harshness. Just leave me alone and I will grant you the same privileges."

Athena clung to Harken, staring up at the trees nervously. "I-Is he gonna be like me?..." She asked, meaning Honus. "Misser, do you wanna be like me?" Her attention was now on Honus, eyes wide. "I-It's not that bad... B-But people don like you. They get mad and throw stuff..." She mumbled, leaning against Harken.

"Well, I'm going to try to stop that from happening. See, Honus is just a little grumpy at the moment, so if he snaps at you, please tell me," Harken said, gently rubbing the child's back. They would walk for about 20 minutes before they saw the signs of her living put there. Warding symbols and plants to keep away unpleasant company, as well as hiding her house. But they had a bit to ho before any of that was seen. Error404RealityFailed Error404RealityFailed JokerValentine JokerValentine

Honus was practically a prisoner in this situation, held captive by the witch. Of course he could quite easily escape and have her hanged for treason, but he needed to be saved. He almost left the other dog for death when he heard what he had to say. "Mock poor Marius even? A boy you didn't even know? Pathetic. And to think I even had a heart, yet you mock the dead? The turned by fate? Do you mock the deaths of the young, beast?" He was quite livid, shouting his words across the distance he had created between them. Then he turned to the witch. "I'm not one for conversation, so don't even test my patience," he said rather annoyed at the defenseless pup. He needed that antidote fast.

"I am not mocking anyone! My name is Marius. I thought you were directly speaking to me Hunter! Directing some false pity in the direction of a turned wolf." He shouted back. "And I can only remember the names! I cannot remember if they were people or places many died. You are truly a sick man to think that I would ever mock the death of a young one...the loss of any innocent life is a tragedy no matter which side one is on."
