Honus decided, to get one last line in before they were separated by some other stupid force with the shifter. He passed the wall, approaching the sickened and torn male. Almost as torn and as upset as he was. He wanted to kill him, to end his life right there and have it be over with. But part of him hesitated, such a lowly and vile creature, perhaps at one time was a human that looked normal. But those days were crushed and gone, they failed to live on in the beast's mind. There were two sides to Honus, the Aeneas and the Superego. The Aeneas was one to forego all emotion, all pain he felt in his heart. The mission was what truly mattered. But he also fought the death with his superego, how badly he wished to let the dog go and get away from all this.
"Dog," the male said rather tired, "I want to strike a deal with you. A deal that you can't.... you can't refuse. You're sick, starving, weak... but we're enemies. Nothing can dismiss or alter it. But I can't kill you. I don't want to, not like this. You- you deserve better than to be shot like a full animal. because there's a part of you, an uncorrupted and pure side that deserves an honorable death. Gather your kind, get your strength back, rest, fear not your death. When you find yourself, dog, you and your strength, we may cross paths again. Then it will be fair. I do it on my honor as a son of my father, and a father of my son."
