"Honus is MINE." He snarled viciously. The entirety of his eyes shifting to pitch black. It took him a moment to calm back down and realize who he was speaking to again. "I agree Asher. At this point they will be better of in more capable hands." He didn't even want to look at Ackara after uttering those words. Knowing how much they stung. "You are not going to be let out until you rest, eat and regain your strength. Only then will you be allowed to train again. When you will actually gain strength and not deteriorate physically and mentally. I will even train you myself, okay? But you must stop this at once. Please."

Ackara let out a small squeak of terror when Marius did his whole snarling anger thing. She whispered something about being very very sorry as she cowered away from him. Even when he stopped Ackara was still shaking. It only hurt more when he agreed with Asher to send away her pups. "NO! Y-YOU CAN'T TAKE THEM!" She shrieked. Annabeth looked very confused, but Charlie decided to challenge his mother to a screaming contest. He looked very proud of himself when Ackara stopped and started crying once more. His sister decided to try and grab Asher with a determined expression. She seemed to like the older wolf and grabbed his shirt when he came closer.

"It has been decided, girl. You are not fit to care for the future of this pack or even yourself, what makes you think you can change our minds now?" Asher said in a cold yet slightly angered tone. While the boy shrieked above his mother, Asher's expression turned into a grimace at the infant's shrill voice. Asher would growl lowly at the boy and his hysterical crying would cease. Then the female infant gripped his shirt, Ash would give the baby a mixed expression – a half smile and half sneer. He didn't quite like children...but the baby girl could possibly be an exception and the boy could amount to something when he grew – if he doesn't die from challenging pack rank that is. Asher would turn away from the children and back to Ackara, his serious gaze upon her. He uttered not another word, just put a hand on Marius' shoulder firmly, an expression often used as comfort but Asher's action was a mixture of pride and comfort; He was reassuring Marius of his decision. With that, Asher would leave the tent, off to find a proper home for the two infants.

Tonson chuckled, "Won't be a burden as long as you brought your alcohol. Also no worries I wanted you to hear what I said." He spoke with a smile on his face. He seemed to almost enjoy the priest's presence now.
(Sorry for short post ain't feeling too well.)

The commander spent a long time alone in the armory. He, although aged, devoted his energy completely to making the defense of the Keep possible. He ignored the fumes, the aches, the regret, the thoughts of mutilation and suffering that was surely to come. He lost track of time, going into a pure drive. It truly seemed that the Hoods would have a chance after all, that perhaps they would survive. After he had created and distributed perhaps 800 arrows, the man thought it would be best to take a break. He got up from his station, where his fellow Hoods worked with desperation, and he retreated to his quarters.

He knew nobody was around, and that would be fine. Nobody should dare intrude on the sickening sight that what was about to unfold. Honus got down on his knees, near the window, and took from the sill the last letter he had from his wife. It was the one where she said she and her son were leaving to not return. He read the letter, and then read it again, until he good feel his stomach stirring, It was only then that he knew he could begin.

Commanders ought not show emotion in front of their men, as it was quite uninspiring to see someone appear so broken. But now Honus could feel the memories of his family rush back. He had nowhere else to turn, but to the Gods. He was not a man of religion. As a matter of fact he despised the idea. A bunch of robed freaks that acted against their rules yet told people to abide by them and pay up or else face damnation. Yet perhaps this was what damnation was, was it not? Honus had nowhere else to turn, nobody besides Syl that knew what lay in his heart even on its surface.

He spoke a prayer under his breath, one truly unorthodoxbut one true to his heart.
"Divine bodies, bring me strength. I who is unworthy, who has forsaken his family, failed his wife, ruined his children, I beg you to look down on me with pity, with any pity at all. My sons, they either do not know of me or failed to be raised right by me. All I have is my Keep, O gods. Give me strength." He shed a tear as he hoped for some sign that the Gods had heard his words. But there was but silence on the winds.

Honus got up, and tried to reach for his pendant, but forgot he had given it away. "If my life is but a game to you, I feel that it must be coming to an end then." He took the letter and put it back, face down, where it had been. He washed his face in the basin, to clear his head, and decided to pay the priest a visit. He went down into the cellar, and found the room to be full of herbs but empty of his presence. Honus quickly asked around, to which nobody had any clue where might he had gone.

"Commander, sir! We've found something that you may take interest in." a small group of loyal warriors marched up to him. Leading one of the stable boys with them. "Go on boy. Spill it." they firmly ordered.
"Um...uh." The boy gulped as he stood at attention to address Honus. "One of your best steeds has been taken from the stables. An off man with white hair and mismatched eyes barged in and simply too the beast. Then he uh. I believe he headed down the road towards Mirewood? Said he'd be back soon but that was hours ago." He shook as he spoke. "He said to say nothing to several of us who saw but it's your word before any stranger's here sir. And i had to report it when he hadn't returned."

Immediately Honus knew the priest had gone off, and in pursuit of the others he might have been. Surely that man needed a cold shower, if was trying to pursue Syl that much. But Honus also knew that he couldn't leave, not with the attack about to come and the Keep with so much left to be done. Not one more man could be spared to the cause of tracking the idiots down. He just hoped that the boy delivered his message quick, and returned with help. "Let him go," the commander said, "he made his herbs and spices. We have no further need for him anyways. He's a dirty priest, mind you, but at least he did something to be of assistance." The commander decided he was going to exit the scene. "Take the herbs and bring them to the galleys. I am going to survey the outside."

"As you are now you are not fit to care for them. Another pack member will until you can regain your sanity. Otherwise they would die and that is the last thing either if us want." He stated firmly. "Stop this madness, eat well and regain your strength. Then I will train you myself. I have even requested a special stores and rations of deer meat and turkey and other such game creatures to be saved for you as I know you despise human meat." He pleaded with her. "I am begging you Ackara, please. Get better so you can get stronger, do not appear as useless in their eyes so you are allowed to stay." Marius rest his head against the bed as he spoke with her in the most soothing voice he could manage.

Ackara stared at her a bit nervously, looking skeptical. Marius had blood, and she honestly wasn't sure if it was okay or not. She also couldn't tell if he'd just been murdering someone or something. That could mean she was next if she didn't agree. "U-Uhuh..." She whispered while staring at him with a really strange face. He was getting blood on the clean sheets! That made her a bit unnerved. "B-blo-sheets?" Ackara frowned at him a bit more fiercely. "Sheets."

"Ha, when don't I? It's right in the middle of my bible if you're ever lookin." Sisceal chuckled, hoisting himself up onto shaky legs. His stomach churned and sides ached but he would manage as best he could. Especially to try and keep up without the burden of passing out again. "I am not a pervert okay? That was uh, years ago. Now, all poking fun aside now. We should probably get moving, it looks like all the wolves here have moved off so it would be wise to follow them would it not? The ground is soft enough that we should be able to follow their paw prints and judging by the freshness of this killing the den may not be far at all. I'll follow along to give you some backup and medical care seeing as the fight here appears that it was rough enough. And I'd rather not go back and deal with Honus myself. One flogging from the higher ups in three days is more than enough." He placed one hand on Tonson's shoulder and one on Sylvia's. His soft blue eye glowing bright white as he took on their injuries to heal them quickly. Feeling the impact of each one they received. "Lead the way commander...I think we have a perfect window of opportunity now." His head turned towards the horrifying haunting howl that rang softly through the trees.

It did not take the wolves long to ravage several towns before heading back towards the dens. Draven's howl echoed throughout the forest. Calling all the most capable to more towards his cave to drop anything they were doing and gather there before they arrived. It was time to organize them. Lay out his plans to them and prepare them for their ultimate attack on those filthy Hoods, starting with the ones that had opposed him first and move up to the highest of command.
Last they attacked it was unorganized and a mess. A test of how his control of the wolves fared after so many eons of slumber. This time there would be no mistakes. Those who underestimated what they could do. How intelligent they were. They were going to pay. Every last one.

Marius sneered and pulled his head away from her. Realizing the bright red stains he was leaving on the clean sheets. "Many apologies dearest." He kept a careful watch of his movements to assure he did not stain them further.
At the faint sound of the Alpha's call he perked up. His eyes and scarring taking on a faint silvery glow. "My liege approaches..." He muttered softly. "Ackara. please stay and rest. I must got to his cave again... He calls. Something of great importance this time. Do you want me to tell you what he's said once I've returned?"

"But...but sir! We still need to bottle the potions...he left that part incomplete. Along with which concoction does what." One of the chefs retorted. Following at Honus's heels.
The pounding of little feet soon sounded through the encampment. Guards and soldiers moved out of the way as a small boy ran up to the commander. "S...s....SIR." He panted heavily. Leaning against a nearby post clutching his chest as he tried to catch his breath. His little arms and satchels filled to the brim with scraps of parchments and loads of notes. "I've...I've got news." He coughed and hacked. "They. uh...they said they may take a little while but they are gathering all supplies they can and will march here as soon as they possibly can. They have also sent a messenger to the capital to try and request help but....ah." He wheezed. "They don't know if it will come...they've also had issues getting any assistance due to how the higher ups view the settlements out this far. But two requests and reports of an Alpha may work.."

Sylvia would furrow her brow at the mention of the priest's indiscretion in his past; the pst WAS the past for a reason best not to think of it too much. Sisceal would mention not wanting to back to Honus and considering how the poor Father reeked of smoke still, she could only imagine what Honus had him do. "Yes, back to –" then the howl came...it sent a wave of cold throughout Syl's body and made her skin crawl. That could only be from one – the Alpha. ”That doesn’t bode well..." The brush in the forest would rustle as she assumed several wolves were making their way back towards the Alpha; if that were the case might as well follow and find his location – could be worth something later. "Please Father, just Sylvia would do." she said in a hushed voice before turning her attention back towards the moving brush, gesturing the two of them to follow once the Father asked her to take the lead. Though it seemed foolish to give chase to the wolves to find the Alpha and their den, this was the mission given to them. Sylvia couldn't help but wonder what the Alpha wanted with his troops, had he already recovered from his injuries during the battle? If that were true then the Hoods would have more to worry about than they originally thought!

What more could he have demanded of the kid? There was to be no good news. The troops, if they even came, would likely not reach the Keep in time. And that feeling was only confirmed by the loud howl that swam its way into the castle. The bloodshed would be immense at this point, and Honus knew that if they were to have any success in surviving, they would fight to the last man. And even then, the goal was to kill as many as they could. Let the Hoods, if they were to all die, die on their feet in the name of humanity. If Honus were to die, he would do so for his sons and his wife he failed to keep, and the parents he never writes.

Honus carefully took back the pendant from the boy, and put it back on him. Sighing deeply, the man went to the boy on one knee, looking him right in the eye. "Catch your breath, kid. If you're still hungry I can get you a potato from the mess hall. We don't have a lot, but you did what you could to help." Honus could not dare vent his anger at the kid. H was just a child after all, one that had already had too much suffering for the week. Inside Honus was beginning to crumble. It was almost as if he knew that he would not survive.

As the howl bursted through, Tonson's blood began to boil and he couldn't help but hold a small grin. He looked to the other two and grabbed the hilts of his daggers.
"You feel it to right? Good. Let's move forward and get the bloodbath started." The demon spoke out to him.
Tonson flinched a bit when he heard the word bloodbath, such fighting was never in his nature, yet the demon seem to beg for it and alter Tonson's mind to want it. He needed to get a grip on this thing before it consumed his very being. He followed the commander, though did so reluctantly, it was bad enough she stuck a blade at him, but Exile no longer trusted her either. The demon only saw her as an enemy who will simply stab his champion at the first chance she got.

"If you wish Sylvia." He bowed his head politely to her. "It doesn't bode well indeed, but perhaps if we keep quiet enough we could sneak up on their meeting place and discover what they have planned. I'm sure they will need to recover as well but there must be more than that. That was a call for war planning for sure." His attention turned to Tonson as the young man seemed to flinch. "Everything alright?" He asked in a purely concerned tone. Pulling a silvery flask out of the inner pocket of his coats. Holding it out towards Tonson. "If it's the nerves try this. Bit strong so be careful, it's easy to get drunk before ya know it. You're welcome to it as well Sylvia, unless you would prefer some herbs. I may have those on me."

"Thank you sir. I will gladly take that potato" The boy panted. Taking a seat on a nearby post. "You shouldn't have to worry bout that soon though Sir. They are bringing all the supplies they can and getting more troops to help. In any way they can." He looked up to Honus with pride in his heart for how successful he had been. Even if it wasn't complete it was still enough for the boy. "They're gonna try to start out by dawn! Going to prepare all night and march as soon as they can. Anyone else who gets the message from their runners should do the same. You don't need to worry one bit!"

Syl would shoot Tonson a glare as he got that demented grin on his face. "He's just fine Father, just itching to use those blades – I'd stay away from
him if I were you."
Sylvia would crouch and observe the fresh prints and broken branches as they continued to follow the path of the wolves and as the priest offered some of his drink or herbs she would steal the shining flask from Sisceals hands and take a small swig of the alcohol, a couple coughs and harsh gulps later Syl approaches Tonson and gives him the flask. "Bitter and has quite a bite...Don't know how men can stand it" she would say with a wrinkled nose.

She was still pissed at Tonson for his behavior earlier – demon or not he should be able to control his 'urges' in front of people he gives half a damn about. Her voice would lower and her expressions would fade as she stared Tonson right in the eyes "If you jepardize the Hoods or any innocent lives...I won't hesitate to cut you down." she would leave it at that and continue following the trail.

Soon, they would come upon a sight that would lower their spirits and fill them with dread – an entire force of able-bodied wolves all stood outside a rather large den. They looked like they were waiting for something, Syl assumed it was the Alpha. They were waiting like good dogs on a leash for their master to give them orders. Syl gulped hard and laid low in the brush...if any of these mutts caught their scent it would spell disaster for the group.
Axeykins Axeykins Blue098 Blue098

Tonson took the flask and gulped down as much as he could before he felt the burning sensation. Coughing a bit, he felt anger flush over him. How dare she say such things, after he saved her life, and fought with her. He dared her to try and fight him. "I told you, all humans are the same. None of them deserve your mercy." Exile spoke out to him. Tonson sighed and with a next step felt a bit dizzy. This was a lot stronger then he thought. Taking another big swig, he handed the flask back to the priest. "T-thank you..." he slurred. Following the commander, he could barely walked straight as he saw all of the wolves. By the looks of things, if they were to get caught, death would be waiting for them.

Honus sighed deeply. He knew these commanders to be unreliable, to tell pleasant lies rather than harsh truths. This would not have been the first time he was promised troops he never received. And besides, the wolves could attack soon, at any minute. For all he knew Syl could be dead and Tonson was now their beta male. "I sure hope I don't." the commander said, grabbing a potato from the barrel. He took out his silver pocket knife and started to scrape the skin off for the boy. Food had become a currency of sorts as the Hoods prepared for their largest fight. After a while, all that remained was a white husk of a potato. "you did a good service, regardless of if they come or not. I can't have asked you to do anything else." He gave the potato to the boy.

But the frightening thought had remained. His closest troops were out there among the gathering wolf army. They are in danger, and he agreed to send them out. And the priest was with them too, and judging on how he thought to know knowledge of warfare, he could get them all killed. Tonson too had a bizarre look on his face sometimes. That was usually the case with men who had gone to the gods and had been sent back. That left the quiet Syl, who sometimes was slow to react. The anxiety of the situation was getting to him. He feared for their lives greatly, so much that he was pointing out their flaws uncontrollably in his own mind.

Sisceal couldn't help but laugh softly at her reaction. "The better stuff is far smoother and better tasting. What I have on hand now is more to dull pain and nerves quickly. The bitter kind more suited for if surgical procedures are needed." His expression flipped to a slight frown as Tonson guzzled it quickly. Shaking his head at their behavior. "I think we'll be fine for now. I trust him enough. But why don't we try to not to be at each other's throats or hammered quite yet? We are still out in the open so lets make it a goal to not stay as such for long.."

As they approached the large gathering Sisceal pressed his body closer to the ground to creep closer. "Gods, there are so many of them already...the capital never said anything about this...Hell. I don't think they even acknowledge packs of werewolves existing anymore." The thought of what exactly they were hiding made a shiver run down his spine. Then he saw it. The Alpha, a beast unlike any other he had ever encountered. The sight of it alone froze him to the core.

"My wolves!! It is good to see you all here as ordered." Draven grinned widely as he took his seat on the throne of corpses. "The time has come to begin our master plans. No longer will we simply throw ourselves at the opponent without thought. It is time we crushed the opponents for good through careful planning. We shall roam these lands, separating into several legions and taking on towns. Turn all humans you encounter, particularly the most capable ones and when your numbers are big enough divide and spread out more. As soon as we take most of the towns around here and if possible some Hood camps. We can take their weapons and supplies. Repurpose them for our own needs. I will be sending messengers to check on the status of your missions and respond as needed and once I see the army fit enough I will call you all back here. A select portion shall remain here of course. Those helping care for pups and some warriors to ensure we are protected. If needed back immediately, well, I shall summon you."

"It'll be alright Honus sir. They got high respect for you out there. For all the stuff you've done like, centuries ago and now!" The boy enthused as he bit into his potato. He had nothing but the highest respect for the commander. Ah to have such youthful hope. It spread a smile across the faces of the troops within earshot.
"Commander. Sir. We are ready to begin preparations for today. Should we prepare for an influx in troops and fortify the walls? And would you like to transfer the potions and herbal mixes created to the medical ward or keep them stored as is? We are all awake and prepared to do as you order."

"I shall be back soon okay my dear? With the best portions of food." He gave her a gentle smile. He would have kissed her but decided against it as to avoid disturbing her with the blood coating him head to toe. "I will tell you what the Alpha says as well. So you know if I will be gone or not and how busy we may be soon. Okay?"

"Gods be good...They're mobilizing" Sylvia thiught to herself as ahe bit her lip. there were so many wolves, she was afraid of even moving to flee but they had to leave to report the news to Honus. Once the Alpha's speech had ended, Syl would make her way back to the keep. Gods willing, they'd make it there with most of their bodies intact. She didn't wait for the others – whether they decided to follow or not was up to them.

Tonson sighed as she saw her run off and looked to priesty. In his drunken state, he leaned in to and held his arms. "Don't get any ideas...I'm just trying to steady myself." He slurred out a bit. "We should find a place to camp, I'm in no condition to and neither are you." He addded on while he stumbled a bit forward into the forest. His breathing was a bit heavier and his cheeks were red. It was almost a sight to see, a young man forced to hold someone he hates in order to support himself up.

"We shall meet you back at camp! This one needs a good rest for sure." He called out to Sylvia before she was out of earshot, watching as she left without a word to either of them. Best one of them get back quickly than be held back by the others. Particularly Tonson at this point as the young man had leaned into him so drunkenly. "Oof, didn't even cross my mind." He strained as he helped get them to a safe enough location away from the wolves. A small cave where they could duck into and only have to worry about one direction to watch. Unfortunately the close quarters also brought about the smell of a distillery. Yeesh, no wonder his flask felt lighter. Lad must have drained most of it in those few swigs he took. "How does this look eh? We can rest here as long as we need to. I've also brought a few rations, water and enough a that potent booze to knock out ten men."
