Fantasy Red Hood Society

Within moments, Tonson revealed himself to the wolf. Wasting no time as he had the element of surprise, he threw the dagger into the wolf's chest. Pulling back his arm, he would also pull in the wolf as his arm and the dagger were connected through multiple tendrils that were intertwined with each other and acted as chains. As the wolf got close, Tonson would use his other dagger and shove it deep into the wolf. Ripping out both now, the wolf would howl before dropping to the ground, both its blood and soul going into the Tonson's weapons.

"Yes.....good, this is what I wanted!" The demon roared out. Tonson had a sadistic look on his face, as if he just enjoyed what he did.

"You...actually do eat the fat? That pure of it?" His face wrinkled in disgust. He could imagine it being used in cooking but never the stuff used for coating arrows and creating incendiaries. "If it's such a...ugh. Such a problem, then stop cooking with the fat and oils now. Use salted dried meats, simple herbs and vegetables. They'll still have the nutrients you need and not cost you. supplies." The priest held his stomach as the stench hit him again. Causing a tidal wave of nausea. It didn't help he was still weak from the travel and his work earlier. "I'd rather not be in the latrines and the stench here is better but...still difficult to take in. Sir." He had to cover his mouth as he dry heaved. "I won't waste anything but is there any sort of incense I may burn in here or dried flowers I can hang? Perhaps a mask? I....I admittedly cannot work in these conditions. Not after work like today. I'll be sick more than work will get done."

Sylvia watched in both astonishment and horror as Tonson deftly took out the werewolf, her hand still wrapped around the blade of her sword as she eyed Tonson carefully. Whatever was driving him to kill this way was not natural and she had concluded it was something to do with the darkness that enveloped his hand. She said nothing but her stance and actions said enough – she was fearful that his sadistic blade would be turned on her. Yet, as if to distract her from the personal troubles, the rest of Mirewood's 'pack' would soon find them. The smell of fresh wolf blood had drawn their attention as well as the sudden and death cry of the wolf Tonson had skillfully and brutally tore apart. Syl's blades were unsheathed and poised at the ready, she wasn't foolish – they were outnumbered, it was best to play it safe. Her eyes silently moved to Tonson once more, a hint of fear and distrust in her eyes. They'd have to deal with the matters at hand...and then deal with whatever the unnatural thing that had gripped Tonson was.

Honus sighed deeply as he considered the man's plea. "VEry well," he said, stroking his chin, "there are some lavebnder flowers you may hang in here. That is all we really have, as it does not nearly bother us as much as it does you. As a matter of fact, I find this to be quite pleasant a smell I have been around it so long." He could go on, but there were other things to prepare for. The commander made his way near to the door, and grabbed from the wall anything he thought looked like Lavender, or had a fruity smell to it. He began to hang it from the various hooks in the room, making it look barely welcoming. After enough had been hung, he turned to face the priest. "Now, what do you plan to make?"

The demon began to cloud his mind and take over his body, "Hey girlie...if you like your life I suggest you step back for a bit." The demon spoke out to her in a sadistic voice as he began to laugh a bit. The tendrils began to surround Tonson's body, as if it was armor to protect him from the wolves. He even began to hold the tendrils that were connected to the daggers and began to rotate his wrist. This caused the daggers to spin now all around him at incredible speeds and kept the wolves at bay. The wolves began to snarl, though none would attack just yet.

"Thank you. That will hopefully help...even though I am not sure how the random herbs and spices will, but I can sort that out. You must have no sense of smell to find this pleasant." He spoke through his hand as he attempted to keep the contents of his stomach down. He had to gulp hard and sit down before answering his next question. "I will make basic potions to reserve supplies. Curatives, stamina and strength replenishers and enhancers. Things to aid with illnesses and stave off infections. They won't be powerful but they will work. I'll also take on the injuries of those who need it most as much as I can and help to mend the very simple ones. Bandaging, stitching, sterilization and so on and so forth. And of course anyone who needs advice."

"Then I shall leave you be," Honus said, seeing that the conversation was finished. He made his way to the door, going away from the priest. "I expect a lot to be done, you know. They need me right now in the armory, and I am going to head there now. If you need anything, find me." And with that, the commander took leave without saying a final goodbye. He went back into the light, getting fresh air into his aged lungs. He made his way to the armory, where arrows, shields, and many other supplies were. He was saluted, greeted, and given entry. It was all hands on deck.

The wolves that surrounded the two would begin to snap their maws at Tonson and Sylvia. The blinding whirlwind of blades would startle Syl, a couple of slashes landing on her hands and arms which would send her reeling backwards. The wolves would take her weakness as a chance to strike at her, as soon as one lunges Syl scrambles onto her feet and crosses her arms in front of her body to brace for the impact. Down to the forest floor she goes, struggling against a snapping maw of saliva and blood, strands of the gorged wolf's sputum dripping onto her cheekbone.

"And I expect some sort appreciation for this in the end. Let's hope we're both not left disappointed." He retorted. Closing his eyes as he waited for the sickness to pass. "I will get as much done as I can before any big fighting breaks out, but you can't rush potion brewing. I'll let you know if anything else comes up." He waved the commander goodbye as he left. Damn, it was so stuffy with the heat of the stoves and burn of whatever they were cooking. Holding a bit of mint to his nose helped somewhat but not enough. Unfortunately there was no other choice given of wear to work.
Sisceal stripped off his jackets, down to only a white button up shirt, unbuttoning even that for some hope of relief and set to work. Filling several huge pots and sparking the fire beneath them. Mixing in a potent mix of herbs and spices to each. Pausing for a moment to lean against the stone wall to try and cool down. The kitchen staff did help here and there. Mainly checking on how the poor man was seeing as it was increasingly becoming more and more of an inferno in the small back room.
Needless to say it was amazing how long he lasted before stumbling for the door. Where he promptly let loose a heaping pile of nothing in his stomach but acid and hugged the cold ground gasping for fresh air. His silvery hair and shirt plastered to his skin. He managed to get everything set up to the point that the staff could watch it for him as he recovered before bottling and beginning another round of torturous batches.

As the woman went flying back, Tonson looked to the rest of the wolves and tilted his head. As they charged at him, they would all meet the same fate as their dead comrade. Tonson twirled around in a dance of a death as the daggers began to spin in every which way, cutting through the wolves as if they were melted butter. Blood and screams filled the air as the wolves tried their best continue fighting though they would be to only die tired. Eventually Tonson stopped spinning his blades and saw as the blood and souls went into the daggers strengthening them. Hearing the woman struggle against a wolf, he would walk to their location and simply throw a dagger into the wolf's head, having the blade of the dagger only inches from Sylvia's face as he pulled the wolf off of her with a tug of his arm. "I know I said step back, but this was a little exaggerated don't you think?" The demon asked while chuckling a bit.

She stopped struggling as soon as the wolf's blood would drip onto her face, lips pursing in disgust as it makes her way down to her lips. Sylvia would heave the beast off of her with a grunt while Tonson seemingly tossed the corpse with little to no effort. "It's not like I chose to react like that!" she would growl annoyingly back at Demonc-Tonson's remark. "Have you lost your gods damned mind?!" Sylvia would finally burst with frustration, still holding her swords firmly in her hand. "You could have gotten me killed with that stupid stunt!" She didn't like this situation at all...Tonson was different and it was because of those daggers...or...one dagger? Whatever. Something wasn't right about them, about him but there was no time to worry about that. "Now we need to go...see if we can track them.." she tried to keep her thoughts away from what happened, it both infuriated her and concerned her. "And leave your fancy sword play out of it while we're hunting these things down..." Syl could feel her injured arm quiver, a frustrated noise coming from her as she approaches the well in the center of the town. Her hands dip into the drawn bucket, splashing her face with water to remove the blood and gore from her face. "Gods...what is wrong with you Tonson?..." she questioned her companion's sanity...he never once acted like this in the keep was this really what he was like?

Ackara looked up at Marius, eyes wide and dilated. She knew him, but it only seemed like he now wanted to harm her. Everyone seemed that way. Instead of responding the way he wanted her to, she hissed at him and began struggling once more. The bonds didn't break but her hand and nails dug into Marius' own as she screeched. Her hands began to bleed again as the wounds opened back up, and Marius was probably also bleeding due to the force she was pressing.

Why? She'd been trying to train harder to finally earn a place in the pack. Lose fat, gain muscle. Don't eat. That's what she was doing. And when the others tried to stop her, she took it as them trying to keep her from being strong and actually useful. She'd assumed Marius would let her out, but now he was telling her to stop, so he was going to receive the same treatment.

In the other room, Annabeth began to cry and Charlie tried to top her by screaming louder. That was the pups, trying to scream louder than the other to prove themselves the best. (This is what happens with kids, kids...)

"Alright doll face, calm down why don't yah, my time here ain't long anyways. Pretty boy will be back soon enough." The demon spoke out. The tendrils began fade, and Tonson's posture changed. He looked around a bit seeming confused by his new surrounding. "What happened....Ah! Commander are you alright?" He asked worried once he saw her wounds.

"Do not call me doll face." she would snap at him, as an angry expression immediately appeared on her face. Then the tendrils that had claimed Tonson's body would soon fade and the boy would seem as confused as a lost child. Her facial expression would not change, instead she would hold a blade up towards Tonson. "You best have a damn good reason as to why you let that...thing control you or so help me..."

Tonson looked at her realizing the situation and let out a soft sigh, "We are still alive aren't we? That's a pretty good reason. Second off, that thing is a demon, and I'm his champion and friend. Long story short, I guess he takes over during certain situations where he gets excited, though he knows who not to kill. Most likely the reason your still alive now was because he knew I would get upset if you were killed commander." Tonson replied while he turned his gaze to her weapon.

"Funny ain't it, save a human's life and the first thing they do is point a weapon at you...this is why this war is meaningless, break free from it and feed me...at least I will reward your effort, not punish you." The demon spoke to Tonson, trying to persuade him.

"You said you will give me the power to bring peace....not be your lap dog." Tonson replied.

Exile began to chuckle, "These humans won't bring the peace you desire, as long as something stands, they will fight it without batting an eye. Look, what was once a friend is now ready to end your life, that is what all humans are. Treacherous beings who selfishly kill others for their own sake. If you want peace, you must forcefully make it." The demon replied.

"Ackara! Calm down! Please!" He begged her. Wincing as her nails pierced his skin. "If you calm down they will free you from these bonds. But until then. This? This behavior, the madness, leaving your children to die. You are of no use to the pack! And if you are considered no use." He bit his bottom lip nervously. "The Alpha will use extreme measures. And seeing as you resist his call still, that would mean death for you! Is that what you want?"

After far too much time on the ground the priest finally got up. Buttoning his shirt up and wiping his hair back out of his face.
"Father, are you ready to continue?" A cook had stepped out of the cellar now and again to check on him. Making sure he was still breathing.
"I am.....not. My head feels awful and my stomach....ugh. Just, going to try and ignore that." He leaned against the doors. Face nearly as white as his hair. "I'll be down to check the brews, fetch my coats and I am going to leave for a ride. The fresh air in my face should help and I can look for more ingredients as well. If Honus asks, I am out doing the latter."
"But Sir, your orders?" The cook's warning was blown off by a hand wave. The priest walked past them all. Taste testing the brews and killing the fires. He promptly grabbed his coats and headed towards the stables.
"Just...keep him away from the cellars at all costs okay? And make sure he thinks I am still working down there. I won't be gone long. Understood?" He spoke in a more commanding tone. All the cooks could do is nod and watch as he walked away.

Sisceal grabbed the nearest horse from the stables quickly. Not even allowing a single question to be uttered before he headed off into the woods. Going in the direction he knew the other two had gone, only to follow the path of course. he was going to take it a ways and then loop back around. That is, he would have if he hadn't passed out on the back of the beast. Allowing it to wander much further than intended.

Ackara glared at Marius, still digging her nails in. Right now, being called useless was not a good thing. "Then let me train! I can train! Training is good! I'll be strong and then I can raise the pups and help the pack! Just let me out! I can do it!" She whispered frantically to him. "I can do it! Just let me out!"

”Alive for now. Demons cannot be trusted…let alone be a friend" Sylvia wasn’t one to really talk though the demon that had saved her own life asked a very minor price for her life. This demon…was not like Red at all. ”You had best be careful with your…fits in the keep and in the coming battle, others won’t be so understanding..." With a shake of her head Syl would start to search for a trail to follow until she heard the pounding of a horse’s hooves on the ground. Turning her attention towards the sound it wouldn’t be long until a chestnut-colored horse would stumble out into the open with a figure slouched upon its back. Immediately she thought the person dead, but as she approached she saw it was Father Sisceal. ”Father Sisceal?!..." she exclaimed, both confused and shocked at the scenario. Grabbing the horse’s reigns, the woman would run her hand along the the body of the great beast, trying to keep it calm. ”Father Sisceal…?" Syl would call out to the slumbering man in a calm voice as to not scare him or his mount. Honus would not like this…if he ever finds out that is.

Tonson followed Sylvia and wondered who she was talking to. Walking up towards the horse, he would see the priest unconscious on the horse. Letting out a sigh, he wondered what luck caused this to happen. Thinking back he was at least glad he had a drinking buddy again. Walking up to the priest, he slowly pulled him off the horse and onto the ground, "Hey pervert, get your ass up." He spoke out to him.

"Nnn...." His face scrunched up as he came to. Sylvia's calm tone stirred him from his deep slumber but it was Tonson who fully got him to awaken. "When did you do get back from the mission? Does Honus know yet?" He mumbled softly. Trying to blink the blurriness from his eyes. "I don't remember my ride lasting that long...just went out and around the trail to help some nausea from that deathtrap kitchen. Then took a little nap when I got back....I think?"

"You cannot train in this condition! You need to eat regularly! Keep your strength up." He winced as her nails dug on deeper. "I will not allow you do anything until you are well again...fed and rested. How you are now, you will never get stronger. only waste away and I hate using the word useless towards you but I have no choice." He looked away. He hated speaking to her like this. "Like this you are to the Alpha...so please just listen to me and regain your strength before training again. For not only your own sake but the sake of the pups. They cry out for you now and you are too weak to tend to them."

Sylvia would look at Tonson as he yanked the priest off the horse, calling him a pervert in the process. The look on her face was one of confusion and a bit of anger on her face but then as the priest began recanting his tale Sylvia would give the priest a concerned look. "No Father, you seem to be confused... You're outside the Keep...near what's left of Mirewood." she would loosen a waterskin that was tied to her belt and hand it over to him. "Drink, You must be dehydrated..."

Asher would be waiting outside the hut, arms folded as he leaned against the wall of the hut. He could hear the young shewolf scream and strain against her bindings. She could also hear the words Marius spoke "Save your words Marius, she obviously cannot care for the pups any longer..." Asher would say as he entered the small hut. "There are others who have more experience raising children than her...and they certainly won't neglect them." Though Asher could see Ackara's determination to grow stronger and become useful to the pack, this was going too far; there was no point in killing herself and her children because of her insanity. Asher would step towards the children, the poor things wailing over each other endlessly. Annoying...if this child would have taken care of the pups properly they wouldn't be acting this way. "I can have someone come...it'd be the best course of action."

Ackara glared at him in an attempt to seem much stronger than she was. Her body was shaking, and she was not happy about it. She was scared of what he said, that she was going to die if she kept doing this. "I-I've got to keep going! I can fight! I can fight that Honus and all the others! Asher said I couldn't fight, but I can! And I will whether you like it or not." Then she closed her eyes and tried to shift her position. It didn't work well. "Let me out, I'll do better! I promise!"

"Mirewood?!" He held his head as he wiggled to a more upright position. "Damn...That's uh. That's not going to sit well back at camp...Thank you dear" He managed a weak, thankful smile towards Sylvia as she handed him the water. It was more than welcomed right now. While it did not settle well with his stomach he had to grin and bear the nausea as it was necessary. "I will not be a burden for too long. If you need anything I will be happy to lend any of my services otherwise give me a moment to rest and I will be on my way. No arguments, hopefully no more insults. My head may be scrambled but I'm not deaf."
