Nation Building Rebirth of Tyrium

@Rand Considering my people adore the royal family and aren't likely to rebel against them, sure. You can certainly try.

@Bobisdead123 Goblins are slaves and orcs are just prohibited from entering the city of Opes Aurum

Goblins are creatures of Gruumsh. Not respected oen though. BUT I HAVE A CALUS BELI

@Rand We Satursians don't play fair. You would win in a war however, our technology gives us an edge in stealth attacks. We plan to store explosives in your city until your army begins moving. That way when they're ignited only civilian casualties are among them.

@Rand Dude, it's a tactic that works. Besides, we'd blame the orcs and then offer to fund a campaign against them for our army is 'too small' to beat their vast hoards. We'd say they attacked one of our outlier towns and stole a whole heap of supplies from them. Some of them being twenty three barrels of gun powder.

Satursians are the ones with gunpowder, if you can't defend it you must be destroyed. I might play along with that, because im not a metagamin bitch tho. (You wouldn't)

I just still think thats extremely lame, and unprovoked.

@Rand Actually, the nation the Commonwealth worries about the most is Thelgrim. The rest seem tameable if not hospitable but Thelgrim comes across to them as the 'sleeping giant beneath the cloud'. They're not so much fearful as they are concerned by your high quality weapons and large army. They're preparing a fail safe in case you go to expand.

@Cookie the Brave I'm sorry, but that's complete BS. Obould's nation is a nation is savage orcs that had just conquered their nation, and are thirsty for blood, dieutan's nations is a nation of hill tribe savages that probably already raid the surrounding lands. And Kygar is full of warriors, and nobody knows that they will do. Look, Thelgrim is probably the least of your worries right now, unless Satursians are complete melonheads.

@Rand This is where trade is the Commonwealths driving factor for being concerned with you. You currently, realising it or not, offer them one of the largest contracts going. Your location means that you have to buy some sort of food and the Commonwealth is happy to provide it. If you were to expand they'd not only lose a contract but lose a large sum of money.

The hillmen are just savages which don't seem the least bit organised for the Commonwealth to fear. The orcs, though a major concern in their numbers seem to lack the most basic of military tactics and Kygar is also a nation of trade that doesn't seem to want to use its army for war so much as self defence.

Kygar country may be focused on trade because we are in the desert, but that is one clan of seven, you shouldn't underestimate its army. Although they prefer to try to come to a peaceful negotiation, they can become very hostile and because they are organized, a serious thread, given the order they will not hesitate to wipe out any country if it comes to that.

@Aviendha Regardless, your people strike the Satursians as civilised and docile until provoked. Our trade with Kygar will be carried out as usual and hopefully you don't invade us any time soon. That would be really disappointing and somewhat annoying. I'm about to be invaded, I can tell.

Invade the Commonwealth and be the first of your friends to have gunpowder!

@Cookie the Brave You are just asking to be invaded dude. If I am one of your largest trading contracts, you don't risk it all by placing bombs in my trade city. You blow that up, and all trade is immediately stopped, followed by a massive war that would completely annihilate you.

@Rand If you are about to invade anyway it is a good idea to make sure you can no longer trade with any nations. It's more of an overly attached girlfriend deal. "If I can't have you, no one can."

I'll just set up temporary trade. My buddy Obould's got my back

I am still extremely opposed to that action >:0
